This food truck is open until 2am, and that makes me smile as I love to eat late night. This truck is parked in a 24 hour tire shop on Charleston in the Arts district. There is parking lot but depending on the time you go, you may have to wait for someone to move their car before you could park your car. I think you could park on the street, but I've never done that. The man who took my order was friendly and took the time to answer my questions, he even suggested his favorite sauce to accompany my dish. I ordered the noodle duo with chicken and steak, diablo and yum yum sauce. It didn't take too long to get my order, as everything is made to go. I believe it was like a 15-17 minute wait. My plate was large enough for me to eat some that night and the rest in the morning for breakfast. I will definitely be back, but next time I'll get something different. After a show, we got the hungries and once again Yelp did help!!! It was a struggle locating where they were because of the rain and our gps giving belated directions. However, it was a beacon of light in a dark street that provided hope for our tummies!!! Simple menu to choose from. Ordered the New York Steak Plate. It was perfect!!! Was well worth the price. Next time the lobsters have an appointment with my tummy. Steak was cooked to perfection with delicious veggies over tasty fried rice, lots and lots of fried rice typical for Teppanyaki style cuisine. You can't go wrong with that!!! Very friendly workers and you can watch as the chefs prepare your meal. The garlic butter added to the richness of the meal. I ate it with the rice. Of course, the food truck was parked on the street and it was safe and clean and ample parking. With the rain, I almost asked if I could come inside the kitchen to stay warm. Hibachi food trucks are genius and Hibachi Time is definitely one of my favorite food trucks in Las Vegas. The food is always hot. Even when I order via DoorDash or GrubHub it NEVER disappoints. Their fried rice is simple yet so incredibly tasty. I prefer more garlic, but this is top tier for me. Perfect combo of a little al dente yet chewy, a nice amount of oil/grease AND not super overwhelming with eggs. I usually get either NY Steak or Filet with rice and veggies. Veggies definitely could use more flavor, but their steak is consistently on par with Hibachi restaurants. I usually drench my bowl with Spicy Teriyaki and dip the steak in the Garlic or Yum Yum sauce. I don't recommend the noodles.. They are bland and covered in way too much salty soy sauce for me. I do however like how the noodles are cooked though, that's the only plus there. My favorite part about this place has to be consistency. I never get a bad plate! They are pretty quick too, I usually wait 15-20 minutes in my car. I love the location on Charleston, great staff and quick service! AND the fact that it's open until 2 AM, absolutely love going there after a night out in the Arts! Ambiance varies depending on time of day and weather since it's outside. The locations aren't in terrible parts of town, but it's nice to wait in the car if needed. Pretty disappointing to say the very least. We spent about $40 for a plate with mixed seafood and chicken and waited about 20 minutes for our order (which we were prepared for considering the line). When we got our order it was piping hot and the sauces we ordered on the side were pretty flavorful but unfortunately that's where the flavor stopped. The shrimp were over cooked making them rubbery and the chicken lacked seasoning so it was pretty bland without the sauces. The steak was cooked just like I ordered and was juicy/ the shrimp was also good. The noodle dish was good also but it had a little sweetness something like a cinnamon taste. I am so upset. After paying all this money for filet mignon well done and shrimp and another plate to get home and it was wrong. I drove almost 20 min home and 20 min back to tell me they will only remake the steak one while the other plate gets cold. I've been coming here for a long time and this has never happened. I had Hibachi time twice while I was in Vegas and it was good. The price was good and so was the food. Paid I think about $25 bucks each time. Only thing is that late at night they might be out of certain stuff like vegetables and certain soda like squirt. But other than that, it is great and I am looking at eating there every time when I am in Vegas again. I also read reviews online that it is better than the Hibachi restaurants like Benihana. Drove 30-40 minutes to try their food truck for the first time. Was a little hesitant on the prices but the portions are HUGE. We spent about $105 for the 420 & a Steak & Salmon combo plus tip. We also decided to swap out the fried rice for noodles on the 420. Wait time was about 20-30 minutes for us which wasn't too bad. There were about 5-6 people ahead of us so the wait was understandable. Once we got home, we realized that they forgot to put noodles instead of fried rice and we were a little disappointed because we did pay extra for it. We called to ask for a partial refund because we do live far away and did not want to have to make another 30-40 minute drive. Maria was kind enough to offer us two options: either come by and pick up a side of noodles or receive a discount for the next time we decide to get food from them again. We chose the latter and was impressed with the customer service and the quick resolution. The hibachi was absolutely delicious and there were more than enough leftovers for the following day. Ordered medium for steak and was cooked as asked, the salmon was juicy, shrimp & lobster was cooked just right as well. Chicken was okay. Tip: if you love your yumyum sauce or any of the sauces they offer, make sure you ask for plenty because they come in a small container and wish we had gotten more than the 2 we received with our meal. Prior to tonight's visit, I'd have given Hibachi Time a 4-5 star rating. After my experience this evening, 2 stars is being generous. I will start by saying that I've been going to Hibachi Time for over 2 years and typically text my order ahead of time and pick it up without ever having an issue. Tonight my GF and I went to see a band play over at the Sand Dollar and decided to walk up and order at the truck for pick up. I am a creature of habit; I get the same thing every time that I order, which is the filet mignon plate with an extra side of filet mignon - all noodles, with vegetables. My GF was standing with me when I ordered. The check came to $49 and change - so I left a $5 tip and went to wait in the car for the order to be ready. After about 20 minutes, I went to collect our order and head home. We live close - not even 10 minutes from the food truck. When we got home and pulled the food out on the counter, I felt like I was on an episode of the show Punk'd! As you can see from the picture, there is very little meat (which also doesn't look like filet cut and certainly isn't cooked medium/medium rare), a ton of rice (that I did not want) and NOT ONE VEGETABLE IN SIGHT! Since I have ordered from there somewhat regularly and have had a positive experience in the past, I decided to text them and send them a picture of my dish because, having had this same meal several times, this was NOT right. After about 10 minutes, I got a response and they told me that I ordered it how they prepared it and then did not respond beyond that. Pretty shitty customer service - especially for the price, IMO. Ate the morsels of steak that were in there and threw away the plain rice and noodles. I guess some people don't view spending $50 plus a tip on dinner as a big deal...but to me, if I am going to spend the money to grab take out and tip, especially at somewhere that I ate at probably 1-2 times a month, I expect it to be right or to take me seriously when I take enough time to text about it after picking it up 10-15 minutes beforehand on a Friday night. There's PLENTY of other terrific hibachi spots in Las Vegas: Vanilla Rice and Mushashi on Paradise, just to name a few. Will definitely stick to those spots moving forward and suggest to anyone that wants to feel valued as a customer to do the same.
