Felt like a Sushi night. Izumi has really fresh quality and selection! We really enjoyed ourselves as we dined and Susan was a great server. This restaurant is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean,

They have an awesome bar area

Just for full transparency, I got a coupon flyer in the mail for this place, and thought I would go check it out. I love Japanese food, particularly sushi and a big fan of rolls so it was only natural that I checked this place out. Located in a big shopping center, there's plenty of parking. But I can imagine it gets pretty hectic on Friday and Saturday night. Walking out of the place definitely has a Japanese steakhouse vibe to it. Very colorful. A very clean and the ambiance is really really good. We were seated immediately and were taken over to a table. We sat down and our waiter came up and I asked about happy hour which was clearly noted on some banners throughout the restaurant and I guess our server spoke very broken English so he called over the waitress and I asked her and she said no. They don't have happy hour which was confusing because all the banners said happy hour. So I was like okay there you go.. Anyway, we got our Waters very quickly and we ordered the calamari and crab rangoon. To be honest, the calamari tasted like some of the Frozen stuff you would get at the store. Some you could tell were very chewy others not so much. The crab rangoon however was really good! So that made up for the calamari.. We ordered a couple of rolls, the king crab roll and we got a complimentary California role on top of that. Super tasty! Super delicious, probably one of the better roles I've had since I've been in Las Vegas. Fun part was they had a little robot that brought dishes out to you. Kind of fun, and the waitress even joked that AI was taking her job. Bottom line? Was it the best Japanese food I've had since I've been in Vegas? No, but it was delicious and I will totally come here again since it is so conveniently located by the house.

Izumi is an amazing Japanese Steakhouse & Lounge located in Henderson. You'll find them on Eastern and Serene, next to Japan Creek Market. There's ample parking. Inside is dimly lit with ample seating for a table and by the bar, beautiful decor of floating umbrellas. They also have a VIP Private Room. Menu offers a nice selection of soup, salad, tasty appetizers, sushi starters, including baked roll, signature roll, sushi & sashimi, deep fried roll, tempura roll, sushi bar entrees, special roll, as well as teriyaki entrees, combos, tempura, katsu mono, noodles & rice, ramen, hibachi entrees, lunch specials, kids meal, and desserts. For refreshments, they have an extensive wine list, red wines, white & sparkling wines, sake, beer & seltzers, bottle & draft beer, martinis, cocktails, and non alcoholic. I ordered Veggie Yakisoba ($13.95) and requested a side of sauce, very delicious! Stir-fried noodles are nice and chewy, cooked al dente, yakisoba sauce is yummy and has a delightful sweetness, plentiful veggies including crisp broccoli, zucchini, onion, carrots, and mushrooms. I tried Golden California Roll (8 pieces, $9), it's lightly deep fried roll, inside has crabmeat and avocado, served with eel sauce, good and tasty! Also had Shrimp Shumai (5 pieces, $5.95), this one's good too! Steamed shrimp is hearty, served with homemade dumpling sauce. The sauce is a little spicy. I asked one of the server Alex if I could switch to gyoza sauce, and he was quick to accommodate. Gyoza sauce is mild with a hint of sweetness, and yummy with shrimp shumai, very filling and savory! For sweets, they have mochi with ice cream flavor for vanilla, matcha, strawberry, and mango, fried ice cream, cheesecake, and fried banana. I opted for Vanilla Ice Cream ($2.59), they give a generous scoop topped with fluffy whipped cream, colorful sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle, it's splendid, not too sweet, and yummy! Atmosphere is so relaxing, pleasant, and lively with awesome music. There were several hibachi stations creating an incredible party vibe. Many were singing happy birthday and songs like "Time of Our Lives" by Ne-Yo and Pitbull, it's so cool! Service from Susan, Alex, Lily, and bartender Leo is very kind, welcoming, attentive, helpful, and friendly! The restaurant has 14 teppanyaki grills, eight in the main room and six in the VIP room, plenty of seating, and the dining area is fantastic for entertaining a big gathering, birthday party, bachelor party, or any special occasion.

Definitely worth checking out!! So I ordered from DoorDash for first time here. It was BOGO free. I got the California rolls for my husband and I got the Lolli Pop. I didn't realize the roll was no rice roll but it was good! It was shrimp, crab, and avocado wrapped in cucumber! Yumm! My husband liked the California rolls too. All tasted fresh. I'm looking forward to coming in to eat since they have hibachi here and it looks delish! Service was quick via DoorDash. Ambiance- likely casual

The food was excellent, and the hibachi experience was amazing! The chef was very impressive, entertaining, and funny. The service was great, and the kids really enjoyed themselves. The ambiance was lively and happy, making it a wonderful dining experience for the whole family!

Tried this restaurant for the first time on Mother's Day! We had a 4 pm reservation and it wasn't busy so there was plenty of room at the table. The service and the servers are very good and attentive. The restaurant is clean and smelled nice and had a good music choice. Our chef was kind funny and cooked us a wonderful meal. My son loved it so much that he wants to celebrate his birthday there next week so we will have to try our new items.

Uber Eats delivery. Good price for lunch. Three rolls with miso soup was $17. Hibachi shrimp lunch was about $19. Food was very generous in portion and quick to deliver.

Hibachi meal [Las Vegas NV] I scored a Groupon deal and tried this place for lunch. Since it was still early in the day the restaurant was not busy and we had our own hibachi grill/table with "JayJay from Manteca (CA)" as our hibachi chef LoL! From the Hibachi entrees we chose the 3-item combination for $39.95 and we chose from a list of options. I chose shrimps, salmon and filet mignon. JayJay from Manteca! (LoL! he made sure we knew that) he was engaging and entertaining, not so much on the tricks and show but just conversations mostly about California. He even shared travel tips on a budget when he has to work here in LV a few months in the year. The food was excellent. It was a good generous portion and we left the place with happy tummies. The entrees came with choice of Steamed Rice or Rice Fried Rice or Noodle, House Salad, House Soup & Mixed Vegetable. Great first time experience at Izumi's. Since it was a holiday they were not going to honor the Groupon deal but since we were from out of town they made an exception for us. How kind. Thank you! Review #3960

This place is one of the best in Vegas for hibachi. Their ingredients are top quality, especially their meat. I usually get the combination hibachi entree (10 oz filet mignon with 5 oz ny steak) with. I also add noodles and it comes with fried rice and vegetables. Their service is attentive and their hibachi chefs are the best I've had. Their seafood and chicken are also great. They have pretty good sushi as well. My favorite is the Japanese lasagna. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. Typical hibachi atmosphere with a restaurant and bar on the opposite side. Overall, if you're looking for a great hibachi restaurant, check this place out.

It's been two years since my last time here. I've had both lunch and dinner on the sushi restaurant side, and I wanted to try the Teppanyaki side of the house. With the two kids, there were 8 of us on a Friday night, and we got seated at our rez time of 7pm. Our server, Kiara, took our initial drink and appetizer orders to get us started while we waited for our chef to arrive. The appetizers and food from the kitchen were delivered by their robot server, which was fun for the kids to watch. You can order anything from the main menu as well, so we ordered some ramen for the kids, while the rest of us had the special combination. Dinner was great and out chef was very entertaining. The food was cooked to perfection, although there was one "glitch" did to one of our group having a shellfish allergy, and one of his orders accidentally getting cooked at the same time with shrimp and scallops. They prepared a replacement in the kitchen and life went on. Teppanyaki is definitely a great family dinner environment, and Izumi certainly provides both great food and greatt service.

Came here based off of the reviews. So I was expecting it to be decent. Don't get me wrong the server was nice the place was nice and clean. We went to the sushi side. We started to order but we had no plates so we had to ask for those. We asked for yum yum sauce like 4 times and only got it once. Also ordered cream cheese in the California roll and there was no cream cheese. And it was not busy at all. The food did not taste fresh. The nigiri rolls were fishy and came with a lot of rice. The other rolls were okay nothing really stood out. The noodles were so salty. The chicken was okay the sauce they use was not good. The mochi was good. Honestly I will not be coming back.

Come here often but haven't done a review. We got the 3 item for $39.99. / I got the chicken, shrimp and filet mignon. The soup and salad was phenomenal as usual. Service was great, KP was our chef and did a tremendous job, food was cooked to perfection. If you come need to ask for him to cook your meal. We also got a hot sake. Ambiance is always a vibe super vibrant and loud.

Had a mediocre experience here on Saturday afternoon. We originally wanted to try the AYCE sushi, but they said they weren't doing it. Not sure how they determine when they're doing it and when they aren't. So we decided to try the hibachi experience. It was a really long and slow wait for us after we ordered while they seated several other parties. We did the combo with filet and mahi mahi and it tasted fine. Overall, nothing wow about the experience and the price seemed a bit high. We were disappointed that everything was just OK.

The garlic butter was so good that I asked for more, and Kelvin was kind enough to make me an extra batch because I couldn't get enough of it. That definitely made my night. The only comment I would suggest on, which many restaurants struggle with, is that the water service for refills was slow. I do not know if this was out of courtesy to not be a distraction to the performance or interrupt our conversation, but I would prefer that as opposed to being dehydrated. :) Maybe also consider offering a pitcher of water if that is easier rather than monitoring the water glasses more closely and/or interrupting/distracting from something. Other than that, everything was lovely. The sushi bar looked pretty awesome. Maybe I will try that next time!
