One of my favorite sushi restaurants in Vegas. Always a delicious meal and impeccable service. One item that is not to be missed is the grilled king crab & cucumber salad. I wish they would make this as an entree. I always order the mixed green salad - it's huge so you can share with the table. I usually order nigiri so no other suggestions besides the Japanese Madai sashimi which was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Someone ordered the A5 wagyu fried rice which I would never had considered and it was also a winner. You can never go wrong at Mizumi. Lovely ambience, great service and consistently delicious food.
Mizumi is officially--hands down--one of my new favorite spots in Vegas. I've been helping plan my bestie's bachelorette, and I'm SO happy that we picked this for our final group dinner. I'll be honest: I was a little stressed at first. When I booked a month out, the staff mentioned they couldn't guarantee seating for all 12 of us together. They said they'd try their best to keep us close, but I definitely had some "party planning anxiety" about us being split up! Huge shoutout to Taylor, though--one of the hosts who reassured me they usually make it work. Fast forward to dinner: they gave us THE best surprise ever. We got a private room with a table that fit all of us perfectly! It totally elevated the night and let us actually hear each other talk without the main dining room noise. The food? DELICIOUS. Everything was so thoughtfully executed and the presentation on the china was stunning. I'm still thinking about the Inaniwa Udon Noodle Soup and the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna--I'd order them again in a heartbeat. The whole restaurant vibe is just high-end yet so welcoming. Plus, the outdoor area with the koi pond and waterfall? Immaculate vibes. I'll never forget this dinner. I'm 100% coming back next time I'm in town! :)
Overall great experience and amazing view of you are seated near the windows or outside. You walk in and it has an immediate zen vibe, and the staff is also very nice and accommodating. The large fountain is seen from the windows inside the restaurant, even though it looks Like it's outside. The food was phenomenal, every item we tried was made well and the presentation was perfect. We tried not to over order but our bill was still close to $300, so that is where I feel torn between 4 and 5 stars!
Presentation and ambiance are top notch, as is the fish quality, undoubtedly. Cocktails also were thoughtful and sophisticated. I dock a star mostly as the value for price just seems to be mismatched. I know it's a Japanese restaurant in Vegas (and so it's somewhat expected for portions to be small and prices to be high), but still, $48 for a 5pc roll is a bit ridiculous.
3.7.26 - my friend made reservations for this place beforehand. The restaurant was beautiful with an amazing view of the waterfall. You can choose the dining room, sushi bar, or teppanyaki. We sat in the dining area. Our server, Jessica, was great! She was attentive and helpful when we were deciding what to order. Drinks: Koko (mocktail) $14 Shibui $20 Wabi-Sabi $24 Food: Sashimi Plate $178 Sushi Omakase $96 Snapper Sashimi $38 Chawanmushi $28 Uni Nigiri x2 $32 Seafood Kami Nabe $41 Beef Tenderloin w/ Yakitori Glaze $22 Chilean Seabass w/ Yuzu Kosho $24 Sorbet $7 Chocolate mousse cake $0 My mocktail was light and the yuzu was refreshing. I didn't want to be red for later so skipped on the alcohol. Quality of all sushi items were on point and fresh. Seafood Kami Nabe was a soup served in a paper pot. Broth was light and clean. Nice on a cold night. My friend ordered the sorbet thinking that was going to be her birthday dessert but they actually brought out a little chocolate mousse cake as well. The desserts took foreverrrr to come out! Not sure why it took so long for desserts but they were delicious. Our bill total came out to $518.03 so it was a little over $200/person with tip. I am just now realizing 2 of the items ordered weren't on the receipt but not complaining :) The place is good but a bit overpriced. If you don't mind the price, then give them a try!
Overall great experience. But was very disappointed on the crispy rice spicy tuna dish. I expected the crispy rice to be warm, as if it was just fried and out of the fryer right before serving. But it was cold and seemed like it was pre-fried. If the owner is reading this, I recommend making the crispy rice warm, so as I am biting into it, the warm temp and crunchy texture of the crispy rice contrasts with the cooling and velvety sensation of the spicy tuna. Makes it a much better experience.
Beautiful venue! The waterfall backdrop is really something. My mom would probably say this place has good fengshui. Our server was amazing as well. She was super attentive and sweet. It was my birthday meal and she brought out a cake with a candle :,) Food was good but not really at the price point of which they charge you for. Portion sizes were extremely small and the menu options were not exciting. For this price point I'll probably go to Nobu (cause they actually do fish perfectly). We ordered edamame, red snapper carpaccio, seared salmon, bluefin tuna roll and Ahi roll. The tuna was extremely fresh probably one of the freshest I've had. The seared salmon wasn't that good and the carpaccio was missing something.... Either it was the oil or sauce or the fish combo was just not there. Beautiful presentation though! Overall probably not coming back because the food wasn't satisfying (it feels like you're getting ripped off) and there are other options for better Japanese food :/ Everything else was amazing! I love this venue. Such a conflicting experience.
Came here for a birthday celebration! And honestly I'm so glad we came here :3 though it's fine dining or "upscale", the restaurant was very fun and lively. Even the workers were just so sweet and made it such a fun experience for us! To start off, you can tell how high quality and fresh their fish is. It's a must to try their carpaccio, yellowtail tartare and their spicy tuna crispy rice. Those were my fave bites of the night! I just love the use of different textures and flavors and how everything works harmoniously. The A5 wagyu fried rice was also a show stopper. The meat was so soft and buttery. The rice and veggies were also good to balance out the richness! ALMOST every food item we ordered came out perfectly! Besides the edamame. It was coated in a thick layer of salt so we had to pour water all over it I would definitely come again. Such amazing dishes, amazing staff, and the ambiance is just so chic! It had everything you could ask for. It is definitely on the pricier side. But I will say, you are paying for higher quality ingredients and you can tell the difference between this restaurant and others
One of my Top favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Been here many times but I wish I was here once a week. One item I will always order is their wagyu gyoza. Could never go wrong with their sashimi or nigiri. Love me a crab roll and shrimp tempura. Also highly recommend their Teppanyaki area as well. Had some fabulous Wagyu. And please get the spiced margarita!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas, the food is delicious, the ambience is extraordinary, and the service matches both. Located inside the Wynn Hotel near the check-in area and atrium, Mizumi is easy to find, and the whole dining experience is what truly sets it apart from the hundreds of Japanese options across the city. On this visit, we shared the yellowtail miso shoyu zuke roll, the shrimp tempura and spicy tuna roll, and the jumbo shrimp with lemon and la-yu chili oil (which wasn't really spicy). The two standouts of the night were the braised Wagyu short ribs with Okinawan black sugar and sudachi kabocha and the yuzu soufflé with passion fruit custard and coconut ice cream, beautifully presented. The bill came to about $150, not including alcoholic beverages, well worth it for the quality and the experience. I'd recommend making a reservation in advance and asking for a table near the waterfall, or outside if you prefer the open air (though it can get quite windy). You can also request a Teppanyaki table if you'd like a more interactive meal.

5 stars!! One of the best dinners I've ever had. My boyfriend and I came to Mizumi to celebrate our anniversary, and the restaurant truly made the night unforgettable. We started with the Matcha Martini, which was delicious. I usually don't eat much fish, but the presentation was so beautiful that I had to try it. The Snapper Sashimi was absolutely stunning. The taste matched the presentation, and every bite was something I savored. One of the highlights of the night was when Chef Kevin brought out what I believe was a Crispy Sea Bass (not on the menu). It was AMAZING -- we finished the entire plate and wished there was more. Overall, my boyfriend loved all the sushi/sashimi and said it just melts in your mouth. The Beef Tenderloin and Chilean Sea Bass were also favorites, but the star of the night was definitely the Japanese F1 Wagyu Striploin. All of the components were paired beautifully with the wagyu. The ambiance overlooking the waterfall was gorgeous, and the service from the entire team -- bussers, runners, and servers was exceptional. This was truly a memorable dining experience, and I can't wait to return. read more

When you stop chasing cheap dopamine, drugs, sex, & alcohol life becomes very quiet. I remember when I first landed in Vegas, & I was raving to my cousin about all of the University of Tuscan Highlands adventures. She laughed, "it will slow down!" 4 years ago to today she was right. Now after 18 addresses I can't imagine living anywhere else. If you're bored in Vegas the problem is the person in the mirror. On any given night any assortment of random adventures can happen, you just have to follow the white rabbit. After a week of PR maxing with both Claude & inside the Iron Church I needed a self date. I eat my feelings. I selected Pisces, I ended up destroying Mizumi ( @mizumi.wynnlv ). I posted up at the Pisces bar, ordered a sparkling water, I'm too bougie for steel, and started strategizing what to devour. The couple next to me from Nashville started a discussion with the bartender about their plans for Nobu. I had to intervene, "...that place sucks! In fact all the versions of Nobu in Vegas are terrible." They laughed, then retorted "...how about the one in Manhattan?" I passed back "...I lived there, went to it a few times, that one's incredible." The bartender inquired about Mizumi. "It's on my list I exclaimed!" "Do you want to join us?" they shouted! "I'm game!". A friendly gesture to help them avoid wasting money on a 5/10 landed us all at the best sushi experience I've had in Vegas so far. Everything about this spot was dialed in, from the best Japanese Uni I've had in the U.S. outside my time Hakodate, to the meticulously designed serene koi fish filled pond outside, to the extremely knowledgeable and attentive staff, all of it. My new friend looks at me and goes, my wife will not eat as much as us, order it all. Not knowing me, I asked if he was sure, twice. At the end, he laughed, "...that's the first time I've left a feast this full!" My friends know the drill, we need to hang out again I said. My only complaint about this spot, my stomach wasn't big enough to eat more. If you can't get a table, the bar is a vibe, and before you ask, yes this was $$$$$. YOLO! Self-Date WIN! read more

We have come back for an early dinner after some shopping at Wynn. Last visit was before pandemic before a show. So it's been a minute! Sister and her husband's favorite Japanese restaurant is this one too! This is the most beautiful Japanese restaurant in Vegas. Our spacious window table had amazing views of the courtyard and waterfall. To be honest I wasn't too excited to eat here cause I have stopped eating raw fish. But they all like this place so I just tagged along. The sushi we have tried was seriously the best. They were so fresh and they prepared them with extra care for sister's gluten sensitivities. We ordered our favorite sushi a few orders each. Best was Wagyu beef sushi with caviar, it's a must try! Uni chawanmushi is another great dish to try. I really liked the buckwheat noodles. The sake we had was good enough. We aren't into very expensive sake cause sake is sake! The service was still one of the best at any restaurants in Vegas. A great meal but I think sushi is just way too overpriced for raw proteins on rice! LMAO read more
My boyfriend planned a date night at Mizumi at the Wynn, and it turned out to be such a memorable experience. The restaurant is tucked along the pathway toward Club Intrigue, and we had a 5:30 pm reservation for the teppanyaki menu. We were seated with a perfect view of the waterfall -- truly one of the prettiest backdrops you can have during dinner. The teppanyaki menu is a pre‑fixe experience, and the table is communal, which actually made the evening more fun. We got to chat with a few people visiting from out of town, and it added a nice social element to the meal. Our appetizers came in a three‑compartment dish featuring yellowtail sashimi, kisu tempura, and grilled shrimp with shishito peppers. Each bite was beautifully prepared and a great start to the night. For entrées, we ordered the seafood trio and the Japanese F1 Wagyu sirloin, along with garlic fried rice. Everything was cooked right in front of us, and our chef was both skilled and entertaining -- definitely an elevated, luxury teppanyaki experience. This is not your typical Benihana; it's refined, theatrical, and thoughtfully paced. Our server was also very attentive throughout the evening, making sure we had everything we needed. For dessert, we had the Hojicha cheesecake, which was a lovely, not‑too‑sweet finish. I also ordered zero‑proof cocktails and went with the Koko -- so refreshing that I ended up having two rounds. Overall, Mizumi delivered a beautiful atmosphere, great service, and a high‑end teppanyaki experience. Expect to spend a bit of money, but for a special date night, it's absolutely worth it. read more
I've been to Mizumi countless times hands down one of the best sushi spots in Las Vegas. This was my first time trying the teppanyaki, and I didn't even know this room existed. We came in on a Friday night and it was surprisingly not as packed as it usually is. The service, as always, was top tier. The teppanyaki experience is omakase-style, starting with an appetizer course that includes yellowtail sashimi, kisu tempura, and grilled shrimp. You then choose from various entrées, plus your pick of garlic fried rice or yakisoba noodles. Dessert is a hojicha cheesecake served with fresh fruit. The appetizers were simple but packed with incredible flavor. I ordered the seafood trio and added lobster everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I went with the garlic fried rice, and we also ordered the noodles for the table... major hit. And for someone who's not a dessert girl, the cheesecake was devoured in seconds. The balance of sweetness with the fresh fruit was spot on. Don't skip the house-made chili paste or hot sauce spicy, but it doesn't overpower the food. read more
This dining experience is off the charts, and yes, it is definitely an experience. The restaurant is beautifully designed. The acoustic is well done. You can hold a conversation at the table while they were very busy, with music in the background. The table scape is clean and sleek. The service is beyond impeccable. Everything we shared was amazing AND a work of art. read more

Very unprofessional and disappointing. Not recommended for special occasions! We made a reservation for a birthday and agreed to the $175 per person minimum to sit near the waterfall. The hostess asked about the birthday and said she would inform the server, but nothing was done throughout the entire dinner. After we paid, the server said no one told him no apology or acknowledgment. Then someone brought out a slice of cake only after we had left the table, while we were standing in the middle of the walkway?! read more
We went to Mizumi for dinner on Friday night and had an incredible experience. We ordered several dishes including the robata platter, king crab arare roll, crispy rice with spicy tuna, scallop tataki, crispy shrimp roll, Japanese A5 hot stone, mochi ice cream, sashimi plate, shrimp and vegetable tempura, Hon Maguro Zukushi roll, A5 Wagyu beef fried rice, and Wagyu gyoza dumplings. Every dish was excellent. Our waiter was extremely helpful with recommendations and made great suggestions. The fish was fresh, the presentation of each dish was beautiful, and the view from our table overlooking the outside added a nice touch. The restaurant itself has a stunning design, and even the menu and dinnerware looked amazing. We truly enjoyed every course and were grateful for the opportunity to dine here. It is hard to pick a favorite dish because everything was outstanding. read more

Fabulous teppanyaki experience at the Wynn hotel with views of the waterfall. It is a preset menu that includes miso soup, an appetizer tray, choice of meat/seafood, fried rice vs noodles, sautéed vegetables, and cheesecake for dessert. The service was impeccable and incredibly professional (especially considering there were quite a few drunk guests that had to be managed). José (the chef) had a great personality and did a great job; as well as our server. I would recommend doing the steak and seafood courses over the chicken. You can add sushi as an appetizer (which I am sure would be great) but even without it, it was a lot of food that could not be finished. If going as a couple, I recommend ordering 2 different meats and one getting the rice, the other the noodles - then split. Overall, expensive but delicious teppanyaki with first rate customer service and ambiance. read more
Three generations sat to enjoy meal together. Outstanding drink service: our matcha and water was kept full -- hot water with lemon for my elderly parents, beautifully dressed Sakura cocktail, hot toddies made upon request, organic Pinot Noir. Sushi was truly outstanding, per usual, with high notes for scallops and Ikura. Udon noodles cannot be beat -- try the udon: we ordered three for the table to share bc we know how good it is. Shrimp tempura that comes with is very tender and tasty. Wagyu slices and wagyu fried rice was eaten before photos could be taken. Exceptionally tender for elders to chew easily. Skewered shishito peppers, tender short ribs, sea bass, and chicken -- would do those all over again. Desserts were worthy of the extra fullness. Orchids on and candle-like light were nice...but a bit more light might make it easier to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the food presentation. Glad to return for another meal. read more
Great food. The service is exceptional/excellent! I was surprised and very appreciative. The pricing is reasonable and the quality is good too. It was slow after the Christmas holiday. So we sat with only one other family. Jose, was an exceptional chef and very talkative and friendly. We appreciated his conversation and guidance with the meal. Here in Vegas we only have had one other Teppanyaki at Nobu. We were lucky at that time about two years ago before the fixed menu and price increase. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and company. Santa barbara uni nigiri - 0/10 this one went bad already, we ate uni every where, this one taste so horrible and fishy. Very bad A5 wagyu fried rice - 6/10 Robatayaki seabass yuzu kosho - 8/10 nice seabass, again too much sauce Robatayaki braised wagyu shortrib Okinawa brown sugar sudachi - 8/10 very tender, but too much sauce, over powering of sweetness Truffle creamy crab croquette - 10/10 Inaniwa udon noddle - 6/10 Japanese madai sashimi- 8/10 beautiful pretty , taste good Bluefin chutoro Truffle with caviar- 10/10 very fresh, simple but yet satisfying Crown honeydew melon - surprised they have this here, mostly only in specialty high-end omakase or kaiseki restaurant. My favorite place to eat in Vegas. Honestly 100/10!! The food was plated beautifully. The flavor was on point with all the dishes we ordered. Service was superb. Our server was very attentive and had very good recommendations. Dinner also came with a beautiful view of the waterfall. Would highly recommend to anyone. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because this meal was perfection. First off, Harrison was an exceptional server. He gave us great recommendations and was super friendly and attentive. The ambiance here is so relaxing and they did such a nice job with the decor. The view of the waterfall is so tranquil and the booth we sat in was so spacious and comfy for our group of 7. That goes a long way in my book. Now for the drinks and food. Everything was INCREDIBLE. We had a variety of cocktails and some of the favorites at the table were the lychee martini and Wabi Sabi Old Fashioned. All of the food was AMAZING. The fish was all so fresh and perfectly prepared. I can't remember the names of everything we ordered, but took pictures of everything. The Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna was the best I've ever had. The Wagyu Gyoza Dumplings were so delicate and packed with flavor. We ordered several of the king crab rolls because they were a table favorite. The Scallop Tataki and Crispy Shrimp & Shrimp Tempura and Spicy Tuna rolls were both delicious as was the A5 Wagyu Nigiri sushi. I have eaten at Mizumi across multiple years and it is still one my favorite places to eat when in Las Vegas. It's also the restaurant I always recommend to anyone visiting Las Vegas. They use to do a tasting menu, which was fabulous. They now have a perfectly curated menu to create your own tasting, and if you are willing to share, the more you get to taste. Beautiful restaurant space, always excellent service. This is a must eat at place if you find yourself in Las Vegas. read more

The food is exceptional. I can't wait to go back. You must try the crispy tuna rice and the miso seabass (I think that's what it was) on the skewers. Their old fashioned was good too. The ambiance is so beautiful, definitely a great place for a date night. Very romantic vibes. read more
I'm not a fan of sushi or Japanese cuisine in general (I prefer Szechuan, Thai and other Asian cuisines that are generally spicier and more flavorful) however, Mizumi was truly a mind-blowing experience. Because the restaurant is tapas style, we ordered all the vegan dishes on the menu and not a single one disappointed. The ambiance is very exquisite and service is extremely attentive. Make reservations ahead of time. No, they probably won't seat you Sooner lol. Oh the food is good, service is good. Udon noodles were medium. Shrimp tempura is the bomb. What else can you expect when you are seated next to people from the former USSR? Highly recommended. read more
Came for a quick power dinner & was pretty disappointed by the food. I wasn't expecting much, and honestly only wanted a light dinner. Prices are expected of any casino/hotel restaurant - it's astronomical. I ordered the udon which comes with shrimp tempura, and I really almost laughed when the order arrived. The "udon" is not a true udon - it's just a thin noodle. The dashi broth was okay, but toppings were skimpy. For almost $30, this was a letdown. Service was nothing to write home about and pretty standoffish. The bartender who took my order didn't bother to provide a cocktail menu, so I didn't bother with ordering one. read more

Yes but definitely not a place for kids. It's a fine restaurant and atmosphere- I'd go to the other Asian restaurants in Wynn. Still excellent- Yazzu or Red. Less "fine dining"
Is the outdoor Pagoda dining too uncomfortable due to the heat in high summer (dinner in July)?

How many people max are seated at the hibachi grills? i want to book it for a birthday event but need an exact number so i dont over invite.
I don't believe they have Hibachi grills. We sat at the sushi bar. It's more of a high end Japanese restaurant with individual options and sushi.
Does anyone know how the outdoor dining is during extremely hot weather? Do they accommodate for the heat or will we be miserable?
Yes, they have heaters available.
My wife doesn't like sushi Is there anything else here besides sushi?
Yes absolutely! We tried a variety of dishes and the tempura and also the mushroom salad were both amazing.
What's the dress code?
You will want to dress up when going to Mizumi , doesn't have to be super fancy but its not a casual place.
How are the vegetarian options?

They do have an omakase. I believe it was $140 a person. I'm sure it's exquisite
