It has gone downhill over the last few years. The fact that people have been at Chez for so long and are now running away in droves should tell you something. Parents dictate what they want, and the studio caters to the few who have the loudest voice. If you want to get anywhere here, make yourself available to the owners personally. They will accept the poorest of behaviors as long as it benefits them. Find a place that lifts your kids up, not tears them down. Find a place where your kids will be nurtured and their voices heard, not pushed away and screamed at for actually attending classes. Newer teachers have zero classroom control and seasoned teachers look so beat up by the owners they are just hanging on. It has been a sad decline. The studio owner and one of her daughters continue to think they are God as it was posted in another review. It is awful how they treat their students. They completely beat down and damage the self esteem of most of their dancers, my child included. I have witnessed first hand the inappropriate comments by the teachers and the tears of the students that stem from such comments. It is okay if teachers miss classes for personal events but the kids are shamed for doing so. They have no respect for these young girls and ladies. There are a handful of teachers there that seem to really care. There are others that carry on the abusive way of the owner and seem to get joy out of making kids feel poorly about themselves. There is nothing that could keep me there. The reputation of the studio has plumented and there are much better studios in the town as well as neighboring towns. My daughter found a new love of dance once we switched her.

The best time is the summer when they have all the winter items on sale. Picked up a ton of quality sweaters, shoes and jackets at a great sale price. Hit the clearance racks for extra savings.
