They proceeded to inform me that they do not carry replacement lenses in store for women's glasses. They said that I would need to call the company directly for replacements. This is not the first time I have felt like this company has discriminated on carrying various items in store for women. I'll explain further on this later. My glasses were scratched really bad and I decided to bite the bullet and browse for a new pair. Diego was the sales person so assisted me and he was very knowledgeable of the difference between Polarized and Prizm Polarized which greatly helped me in making my decision. When checking out he explained that the glasses come with a 1 year warranty and that if it register my glasses online I will get a second year for free. As much as one pays I think it should come with more of a warranty but I digress. I paid for my purchase and was on my way very pleased with my selection. Now back to the part about the stores not carrying various items for women. I was in the outlet store in Simpsonville end of last year and was looking for a hat to replace the one I currently have. I inquired with the sales person because I couldn't find any women's hats. She let me know that they didn't carry women's hats at that particular store. I feel the company should really cater equally to both men and women in what they offer at their stores.

I hope Kay is addressing these issues so they can treat all customers fairly with their service. Based on our experience, The Kay Jewelers at Hamburg is amazing! It's not the store or the name that made our experience a 5 star, it's the employees like Pam and Leah who really make it an awesome experience. I can't say thanks enough for all the help they provided during a situation of customer satisfaction with jewelry that was purchased. Pam and Leah were focused on the customer as their number one goal. I know that store suffered an untimely death of a manager and these two have really picked up the slack And maintained the professional and compassionate attitudes. Stopped by this location yesterday after work to get a few links taken out of my new watch my wife…read moregot me for my birthday. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by both of the employees working and asked if they could help me with anything. I explained what I needed done and the gentleman gave me a price and I agreed to pay it. He took my watch and went straight to work on it. The whole time he was working him and the lady working both carried conversation with me and both actually complemented my watch and was shocked at the price we got it for lol. Anyways, it only took him like 10 minutes (after I'd spent 2 hours trying to figure it out myself lol) and came and placed it on my wrist to make sure I was happy and didn't need it smaller or one of the two links put back in but it fit perfectly!! After taking care of the payment him and I continued to talk for another 10-15 minutes easy about watches and so on. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the fit and made sure they couldn't help me with anything else. So of course being the watch junkie I am fell in love with a couple time pieces they had and we came to an agreement on the price and I'm actually stopping back by to pick up at least one of them today!!! But enough rambling on here lol, I will say it did feel more like an upper class type of store with very expensive items but the service was fantastic and didn't look down on my $300 dollar watch or nothing. I brought my ring in the day that the jewelry repair person was in the store. Was quoted 2 weeks…read morerepair time. I went back after 3 weeks of not hearing a call back to pick up my ring. They had sent it out to headquarter because the person could not repair in store. But no one called to notify me or thought I should know that it would take longer than quoted. I called every week for an update. Was constantly told that someone will call me back. No one EVER called me back. At other jewelry places, I was notified of my jewelry in every step of the process, whether the repair has started or that the item was sent to a repair shop. Almost 2 months later, I was told it was be in the store at a certain date. Called on the evening of that date, they still don't know where my ring is and have no answer on who I need to call to find out where my ring is. This has the the worst and most frustrating experience I've had. I am about to get marry in one week with no ring. This was not a cheap ring either. It's not something I can easily replace. Beware of the lies you tell you after you purchase the ring. I was also initially told that insurance would cover my gem replacement. I had to pay for my gem out of pocket when I took it in to repair.
