I purchased a primer loader from "shooters connection" and when it arrived, the interior of the box was torn and the electric cord showed obvious signs that it had been used and sloppy stuffed back into an interior box. I placed the items back in the box and called the store and spoke with "Chuck" whom, apparently is the owner. I explained the situation and asked for a "returned item" stamp and was advised that his store doesn't pay for postage and it was my responsibility. Also, he stated that, even though I explained about the obvious signs that the product had been previously used, he would still charge me a restocking fee. Between postage and restocking fee, I lost around $35 on this purchase. Shame on you Chuck. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase anything from this company. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

My item was only about $9, but the site wouldn't even let me make the purchase unless I doubled that amount to $19.95. That felt incredibly unfair and, honestly, disrespectful to paying customers. Forcing people to buy extra just to make a transaction go through is not good business -- it's a guaranteed way to drive customers away. I was ready and willing to give them my money for a product I needed, but instead, I was left irritated and disappointed. I didn't place the order and won't be returning to this site, even if I can't find the part anywhere else. I'd rather buy an entire new magazine from a company that treats its customers with respect than deal with a policy that comes across as greedy and dismissive. I've shopped at Shooters Connection quite a few times. Prices are competitive with any of the other supply companies. They are very fast at completing and shipping orders. If I order on a weekend the package is usually to me by Wednesday. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is there always seems to be one item on my list that's not in stock. I think that's more a sign of the post covid world than a fault on their part. read more

Bought a gun online, went to range 2 weeks later and was a different caliber not obvious without removing the barrel shroud. Called and was told they made mistake, but because it was over 3 days it was not his problem. He reviewed the sale and said he would refund my money because he felt that the gun had sold too cheap and he could get more relisting. Not his problem on the ammo purchased and transfer fee. I stopped my purchase and that evening I sent an Email outlining issue. Early next morning I called about ordering over phone. Not sure who I talked with but they were courteous as I described my issue. They (Shooters Connection) told me problem had been fixed. Now mind you, this happened just hours after sending Email. This action speaks volumes to me as a company that cares and is striving to do their best in providing a service. And I placed an online order following phone call with them. AND the same morning got Email that my part in shipping. I read several negative reviews and am wondering are there two Shooter Connections because my experience was nothing but positive. I had a terrible experience with this company sending an incorrect order. When I called, I dealt with the owner who was so rude he asked during the conversation why I bought from his company and then asked me not to buy from there again. I simply called to ask why the item I received was not correct and from the moment I called the experience went downhill. I did receive a call back from another individual who helped resolve my order but the owner placed a note in my account and placed full responsibility on me for how the interaction went and took zero responsibility himself. This guy "Chuck" (the Owner I presume from reading other bad reviews) has a developed a reputation for being unfriendly, rude and unprofessional with his customers. Today, I learned firsthand how difficult he can be. I was sent a broken product. I called and spoke someone there about the issue, and then Chuck got on the phone. He was rude and arrogant and then hung up in my face when I asked for a replacement. Here's what Chuck emailed to me when I told him I had to order the product directly from the manufacturer (and pay for it twice)... He said: "Hope you get another just like this one (defective)." Sometimes they are not the friendliest on the phone, BUT, they have the product and as of late, shipping has been lightning fast. That alone I appreciate. Take Brownells for instance. Ordered some mag pouches through shooters connection selected usps priority mail as delivery 2-3 days. Product shipped april 3rd 10days latter no delivery. Called shooters connection spoke to Chuck the owner who was outright condescending and rude. It is my problem because I selected usps and they may have lost the package. Fair enough but I would expect them to at least offer some customer service and provide so alternative solution to the fact that I don't have the product I ordered. For example how about 1st off apologizing that it has been lost and maybe offer to send out a replacement shipment while we try to find the lost item. But no it is my problem I selected usps priority so that's that. How about refunding me and they track down the lost package BUT wait it is still my problem.... Bottom line customer service & the Owner Chuck are just there to take your money. Buyer be aware that if you buy from this company and select usps priority shipping and the product doesn't arrive or is lost you are on your own. They will not help you. Last comment from Chuck was he did not want customers like me who legitimately purchased product in his store as a customer.
