If I could give negative stars, that still wouldn't do this place justice. I brought my mustang in for struts. Straight forward job. Pull the struts, swap the springs over to new struts and install. Only the two fronts. It's a 2 hour job for a slow person.... Skyler Chin, the sales associate, tried to charge me...wait for it....3000 dollars telling me there was a lot of broken things that need to be replaced too. I asked what else it needed and he stumbled and started saying bolts etc but nothing of substance. I said leave it on the rack I'll be there in an hour and show me the damage. When I got there, the car was put back together so I could see anything. I went and bought the tools, the next day and had them changed in...two hours. Not one single issue is wrong with the car. Even if it needed an entire front end, it wouldn't cost 3000. It books for $500 to give you a reference. That is nothing other that trying to take advantage of someone that was desperate and stranded. I will be contacting corporate. Do not use this place!! read more

This shop is absolutely ridiculous. I dropped my car off, and after FOUR HOURS, my tire hadn't even been touched. When I showed up, they casually told me it would only be another 5-10 minutes. No one bothered to apologize or even act like they cared. This is the second time this month I've had to bring my car in, and if it weren't for the warranty on these tires, I wouldn't have come back at all. This location has always been good to us when we have a minor issue, like fixing a leaky tire, so they get first shot at anything tire/automotive with our family. That being said, price and service have to be considered and again, this Hibdon has proven to be reliable and fair. There has been a time or two when Hibdon said one thing and the dealership said another and the good folks at Hibdon were correct. I bought it back 3 times thinking they would pull it in and balance them but they would only put me at the back of the line. A least 3 hour wait each time. They are not at all helpful. I got something in my tire on the hwy made to them since they were the closest place. Asked if they could just plug my tire and that I lived in Cushing ok I just needed to get home and instead of helping me they told me I would have to leave it over night and they could not help me. Want to get mustang alignment told them what was wrong they were going to align back wheels then told me I put wrong sway bar on to put another one on I did it started when I came in to get a inspection done my mechanic wanted to see what they said at first they told me 98 percent was I needed new struts I new that and then I told him about noises I heard went he went to ask someone about it said I needed a big long list of things plus tire's my tires are 7months old less than 4000 miles on them $ 3575 was the cost to fix so I bought most oth the parts fixed struts new sway bar two of them then I had a alignment done so they tell me I had a racing sway bar on there so I changed it back by another new one that the one that's like the original one came off of it and then I they said I needed to get it online again after I did that and they fix it so I took it back to get it aligned a week later and they told me they could wasn't going to do it I have a 6-month warranty and they told me literally just argued with me there people were there about what I needed to do do this do that before they could align it I thought well why did they align it in the first place and charge me if it was wrong their crooks they always have been I took my car and truck there I don't know how long to get alignments and stuff never had that kind of problem but the first time I took my mustang in there I had a new front end new rear end knew everything put in they told me it needed all that new again like 4,000 something dollars I told him they were crazy it was just replaced a week ago I had it in the shop I had a new engine put in my mustang and everything else they're just trying to make money of it then they were mad I guess cuz I put the struts in and I put the sway bar in they said they would align it again which I haven't a warranty but they won't they declined it argued with me about it said they couldn't do it till I put this on there and that this and that what they put on my list and well why did they align it the first time I want my money back or I'm taking him to court if they aligned it the first time why didn't they align it the second time after they told me what to do it's been a I don't know it has a warranty for God's sake I would never take my vehicles back there again and I wish everybody should be very cautious about it cuz they are money hungry they don't like you to do the work yourself it's none of their business to work done as long as I get it done I want to speak to somebody on the head of that place cuz that's ridiculous I want my money back I'm already suing another place but my engine in I don't want to have to do it again but I will do not go to hibdon beware read more

WOMEN BEWARE!!! I unfortunately had the experience of needing to get an alignment on my work vehicle this week and my boss made an appointment with Hibdon Tires Plus, as they were the soonest appointment available. The location is is OKC on Rockwell & Reno. When I arrived, I was greeted by an employee who was working the front counter. I let him know I had an appointment for an alignment and he took my key and we walked out to the car. I drive a camera car for a repo company, so the car has cameras on the trunk. The employee made a comment about them, so I explained what they were. He proceeds to tell me what a bada** I am, and is dropping f bombs the entire time we're talking. I ignore it, and we continue back inside and I walked to the waiting area and have a seat to wait. Once they get the car on the lift, they tell me it's pretty bad so I start to call my boss and see what he wants to do when this employee sits down beside me. After I'm off the phone and let them know what my boss says, this employee proceeds to make a comment about my ear gauges. He then says they are sexy and at this point I text my husband that this guy's making me uncomfortable so he comes and sits with me until the car is done. Once the car is done, I tell him I'll be fine, I just need to call my boss so he can pay and I'll be out of there. Well, I was wrong. I got the counter and was waiting for him to get the card reader ready so I could call my boss when he leans over the counter slightly and says "what did the d*ck say to the p**sy??" And I stood there for a minute and was all "what???" While trying to comprehend what he just said. He laughs and shakes his head, then looks at me and says it again. Out of shock I say "what?" And his response is "don't make me come in there." At this point I'm so uncomfortable I don't know what to do or say so I immediately call my boss and make him pay so I can leave. This is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behavior and should never be acceptable. I have called the manager and when I told him what happened, his reply was "I know who you're talking about and I'll take care of it." Like, it's happened before so how is he still working there?! I have been in contact with corporate, but this is absolutely unacceptable and people need to be aware!! He has access to home addresses, names, phone numbers and no telling what else. This place is a joke. Go to your local small business oil change place and Discount Tire. They will actually appreciate your business. They won't recommend replacing 2 of your brand new tires for low tread! I actually laughed when they tried that to me. I went in to get a tire patched and oil change on one of our work vehicles because it was right next door. Well 2 and 1/2 days later with no phone call telling me it's ready, I call them and go pick it up. I pay for my $85 oil change witch included a $15 discount and then I am told they couldn't patch my tire. I laugh and after leaving take it right to Discount Tire and they patched it and had me on the road in less than an hour! While I am there I notice them trying to up-sell stuff to every single other customer! Be warned! What have they done in the past to earn your trust? I always recommend taking their so called suggestions and doing your own research before just blindly trusting someone trying to make a profit off of you! read more

I bought four tires for my truck and had a 8:30 appointment. I left this lace at 3:00pm because I was told it'll be 45 minutes to an hour.

I came in two separate times to have my rear brakes serviced.. new pads and rotors first time/ second time resurfaced the rear pads. Come to find out the guys at the shop had installed my hardware backwards ! I had terrible sounds coming from my back end and rightfully so. The new pads/ rotors weren't installed correctly. I would post the pictures but I doubt these guys would have any idea what they were looking at. My mechanic took a look and was shocked to see the care that went into the job. Will not be able to give Hibdon a 3rd shot . read more

I usually come here to do my oil change and the only reason is because this place will honor the 30 minutes oil change guarantee. However you will have to ask them to do that and this only applies if you have an appointment with them. If you are just a walk in then it's free game apparently and they can take up to two hours even if you are waiting inside. The wait room is kinda dark and it seems clean. There is a water fountain and a small area where you can get coffee. Vending machines are in a different area so you will have to open the door to the garage and cross to the area if you want to buy a snack. The glass windows are there to make sure they are doing your car correctly I suppose The staff is also friendly but somewhat cocky and arrogant. Maybe it's a side effect of working with only males. Never seen a female employee here If you want cleanliness and don't mind waiting 45-60 minutes I would go to Firestone off of May and 104. Way cleaner and way polite. read more

Have always taken my truck to Hibdon. NW 23rd location. Had good service until this time. Took it in for oil change and cooling system check. They said I needed a flush and new radiator. $950.00 later, my truck won't run right. Dies at every stop. Took it back, they said they can't find anything wrong. Just an old vehicle. Also stated they don't have the equipment to check it. When I asked about a computer check. So now I have no vehicle and I get to pay for the problem. read more

Over time, I have learned lying to get the work and screwing the client over is a pervasive thing at Hibdons here is one example: I had the rear brakes on my box van repaired with the lifetime repair option. I was told all parts and labor would be covered and I would have to pay nothing in the future. That sounded like a good deal because I plan on keeping this truck until the end of time. I was told they would get it done about 3 or 4 o'clock. I am self-employed and I had a job to get to at 1 pm so I said I would bring it back in a day or so. The guy said he wanted to check something and walked away. Coming back, he said, "We can get it done for you by noon." I asked, "Are you sure because I need this job." He guaranteed it by noon. I let them do the work. About 10 am I saw my truck was still sitting there. I asked if they needed me to bring it back another day. They promised to get it done in time. I saw my truck brought in the shop a little later and parts removed then they stopped working and it sat there in pieces, I could not leave. I knew then, they had lied to me. I called my client. They had to have the job done and called someone else. I tried to talk to someone at Hibdon's but all I got was a nonchalant "oh sorry about that" they did not care at all. They did get it done about 3 or 4 like they originally said. When I was paying, I told them they guaranteed they would have it done by noon and they just scoffed saying "Well sorry" and walked off like it was no big deal. They got their money so screw me and what I needed. I decided I was done coming to Hibdon's BUT unfortunately, I have that lifetime replacement on the rear end. The next day my truck had to towed back to Hibdons because of shoddy workmanship. The rear end was literally falling apart. I actually had to fight them to get them to pay for the tow. Several years went by and I take my truck to the dealer for work and they said the brakes need replacing. I took it to Hibdons and they refused to do it saying it did not need it. That happened a couple of times. On 11/08/21 they finally agreed to do the work. But they were acting as though I were stupid for not bringing it in sooner and letting the condition of the rear end deteriorate to the way it was. Which of course I had brought it in but they refused to fix it. Now that they are going to fix it, they quoted a price of about $250 or so. I explained what I was told. Of course, they acted like I was lying. I let it go because it had to get done and I was there for the last time so fine do it. I was told I needed to leave it there for a day or two. I dropped it off close to noon on 11/08/21. Then they called and said it would be over $500, again I need it done so fine do it. They called on Nov 11th saying the truck was ready. Asking me if I had gotten a call the day before saying it was ready. I said no, I had not. He replied, "Yeah well, I know you did but whatever". I DID NOT GET A CALL. I get there and they cannot find the keys or paperwork. He goes walking around the shop, comes back, and says the truck had not been worked on yet. He explained what happened, apologized for the inconvenience, and said he would make sure I got a good discount to try and make up for it. That was ok with me I did not make an issue of it. He said they would call me when it was ready. I got a call on Nov 13 '21. My truck had been there for 5 days. Which by itself is egregious. I get there and the guy processes the payment. I asked about the discount I was promised and the guy (with an attitude) said: "Well we did about 8 hours of extra work on it and we price match one item so there is no discount." Which of course is a load of crap. I went ahead and paid the price they wanted. The hassle of going through legal channels is not worth the time but I can let everybody and their mother know what happened to me and just maybe cost Hibdon's way more than I paid, making it totally worth the price. read more

I've been using Hibdon for the past 4years. Parts are warrantied. So if there are any problems in the future, including regular wear on brakes, the parts are free. Go to Discount Tire just a little further down the road. On 5/8/2021 I had a flat and put my spare onto my car and drove to Hibdon, my fiancé went inside with her mask on while I waited outside with no mask on, I witnessed all the employees working within a few feet of one another and a couple guys high fived one another and then two guys crawled into customers cars without mask on their faces or latex gloves on their hands. So I step inside without my mask under the impression they were not enforcing a mask mandate that had been lifted statewide. A gentleman behind the desk stopped helping a customer to tell me to wear a mask. I pointed out how the employees were treating the mask and asked if it made sense for me to wear a mask when their employees are not even when they entered the front office. I refused to wear a mask so he retrieved his manager who acted as though he wanted to help us and once he found out the situation with our tire he then claimed a 4-5 hour wait to remove a nail patch a tire and place it back on a vehicle. Discount had us in and out within 50 minutes and were aware their employees are not wearing a mask and did not enforce me to wear one. I'll never visit a Hibdon even if it's the only place left on earth ever again and I'll never recommend it to anyone I know. By the way discount tire didn't even charge to fix the tire. read more

Purchased 2 new tires approximately six months ago. Made an appointment for tire rotation. Upon inspection, store refused to rotate the tires I purchased from them. I paid for the price of rotation and was refused service. NEVER TRADE WITH HIBDONS AGAIN. Took a chance to begin with after every person I know recommended against it. read more

This location is always super busy and they work hard to get you in and out as fast as possible. I needed tires so I dropped my vehicle off for this service. They asked if I needed an oil change and I did but I usually do that myself. They told me the price adding the oil change and it was cheaper than if I did it myself so I agreed. I got my car back that evening and everything seemed ok. That evening I went to run an errand and noticed a good sized oil stain in my driveway. Further investigation revealed that they forgot to put the gasket back on my oil drain plug. Needless to say I was in my driveway that evening removing the drain plug so I could add the gasket. read more

I am giving 3 stars only because the service person was very nice. We are going on a 1,000 mile +/- road trip next week and wanted to get an oil change, fluids and tires checked. Made an appointment today for 2:30. Arrived on time to a virtually empty showroom area only to be told that same day appointments made on line DO NOT get entered into their system and they could not do my service today but they would be happy to re-book me. Very nice tech proffered his card but I told him I would take my business elsewhere this time and in the future. Like I said, if being nice is enough, they get a gold star. If you want professional and dependable, they fall way short. If a company offers online scheduling but knows they have a flawed system at point of sale-they are not very SMART!! I give hibdon's 2 stars because the service is really pretty good. Oil changes --ok, but a bit pricy. I do it there though so I can get my tires rotated. They did a thorough job and I have had minimal problems with any work they have done on about 6 cars I've owned over the past 16 years. However, today I spent my last dollar I will ever spend at Hibdon's. The quote I got for some work that needed to be done on my daughters car was borderline larceny. The manager at the 23rd street store had the audacity to defend a 150% markup on parts by saying "this is a retail price". The only problem was that the 150% markup was actually on a retail price that I could have purchased at Walmart or O'reileys. $34 for a $14 spark plug. $130 per hour for labor, $431 for a $168 front control arm and bushing assembly. The battery was a little better. Only about $60 more than I could get it for at auto-zone [who does free installation). Other services like fuel system cleaning for $200 seemed a bit suspect. $41 for an air filter? So, I'll be buying tires and getting oil changes somewhere else.and searching for a more reasonable place to get general maintenance done. read more

Went in for new tires and alignment. They installed my new tires and told me it couldn't be aligned because of my lower ball joint. Then quoted me 600$ for parts and labor. The ball joint is only 160$. I went home to change it myself seen it only had a small tear in the boot. Firestone aligned it no problem. This isn't the first time this has happend to me here. I took my vehicle to Hibdon for an oil change and wiper blade replacement. Everything went well. The next day as I was driving down the highway the drivers side wiper blade blew off and traveled down the highway. I circled around managed to get out and get it. To my amazement the blade was never attached to the wiper blade. It was just tucked down in the crack below it. I immediately drove back to Hibdon. I told Taylor what happened and she got a technician who looked at the wiper blade he tried to put it on but it was broke. He said he would order me another one and I could come back later that day or just return tomorrow. He put on a temporary. I chose to come back the next day. As I returned late afternoon I told the salesmen I am here to get the wiper blade. He knew nothing about it nor did the previous tech ORDER it. I had to wait another 35 minutes for it to arrive. Finally got it and a lot of unnecessary wasted time over something so simple as a wiper blade. read more

recently moved to the area. we used to go to a different hibdon back where we lived, and we never had problems, but went here to get new tires a few months ago. after a day, there was a metallic clanking near the front right tire. after visually inspecting it, couldn't find anything wrong with it. took it in a few days after to hibdon and they said nothing was wrong with it, and that they looked through everything. they made it seem like i didn't know what i was talking about (granted, i have no knowledge of auto repair) but i could clearly still hear the clanking. just took it to a repair shop today and they told me that whoever replaced my tires actually broke a censor. the censor was clanking about on the INSIDE of the tire. accidents happen, but it seems like they didn't take my concern seriously. tldr: employees either lied about breaking something and didn't check it thoroughly or they don't know what they're doing. you'd have better luck at smaller auto shops. read more

2 stars, considered giving just 1. I had service done before and they do good work, that's for the 2 and not 1. It's raining outside and my tire sensor was on, figured I would drop by here and check the tires. I pulled over and looked at the tires, didn't seem that low. So I started to leave making my way around the cars in the parking lot and the way the parking lot sits, the water came up to my lower door frame and I thought, you have got to be kidding me. Car starts to idle like it's going to die, it dies... I try to start the car one time, nothing. So I get out and the water is almost to my knees, I am 6ft 1in tall. I come in, alot of people standing around, the guy at the front podium says "Can I help you?" I told them what was going on. "Oh, just let it sit for a few mins and try again. You probably just got something on top of the motor wet." I thought, well no sheet! I waited, and waited. Car doesn't want to stop. I came in multiple times and nobody has said a word. Thanks Hibdon for your generosity and help.... Maybe you should get a 1 star. read more
