Very Disappointed - Instructions Ignored I had a very disappointing experience at Hibdon Tires Plus in Tulsa. On 12/26, I brought my 2019 Nissan Sentra in specifically to have only the back tires replaced due to a slow leak. We were very clear at drop-off that no tire rotation was to be done. I live out of town and needed this work completed so I could safely drive about 200 miles back home. I left believing everything was done correctly, only to discover once I arrived home that my front passenger tire was nearly flat. It was clear the tires had been rotated despite our explicit instructions, leaving me with a bad front tire that now needs immediate replacement. Before this visit, my front tires were perfectly fine. Now I'm dealing with an unexpected safety issue and added expense. Came in at around 2:20pm on a Sunday needing an alignment and my brakes inspected. Was quoted 69.99 for the alignment, cool. First of all, VINCE is terrible. The worst customer service, RUDE. When taking our information, he never repeated the phone number back. He said another persons name, we said no so then he proceeded to take our name. Again, never repeated the number back to us. Left and was told would be called when it was ready but they closed at 5 so be back before 5. Came back at 4pm to check on and it Vince was there. He asked if we received a call and we said not yet. So he proceeded to say well then it's not ready and he doesn't have an update. RUDE. So we go back to wait. Finally we notice the car is not being worked on so we go in again and a different guy is there because Vince is now watching a football game and not even worried about us, which was fine!! New guy tells us that they have been trying to call us because it has been ready. We actually didn't even need the alignment but because we didn't answer they did it anyway. Vince didn't take down the right phone number, so that is why we didn't answer. Then, the price of the alignment was actually $20 more than what Vince originally said. So we didn't need the alignment but they did it anyways and it's $20 more than what was quoted. The new guy was nice enough to make it right, but they need to get RID of Vince. I arrived at 10:25 am and asked if they had time to fix a leaking tire. The associate responded that they always have time to fix a flat tire. I have been here for more than four hours now and just now getting in. I have never waited more than an hour to get a flat fixed. Now my plans are shot for today. I sit here in disbelief. My daughter just called and said her 2015 Canyon has lost all of its oil. She's being towed home now. Less than a week ago she had her oil changed and AC checked. Her bill was $179 because they charged her $60 to tell her that her AC didn't work. We knew that. They also had on the ticket that her tie rods were "loose". I said, it only has 55K mikes. Then he said, well they'll need to be checked in the next year or two. The other reviews here need to be believed. This is the worst auto service center in Oklahoma. No one likes to go spend money on something as boring as tires but everyone here was really nice and helpful. They had the chairs nicely spaced out And there were ropes around the counter so that you couldn't get too close. They also had a sign on the door that said if you did not or could not want to wear a mask then to please call a number. They had a pickup option so that people didn't even have to leave their cars if they didn't choose to wear a mask for other's safety.I really appreciated that. That didn't stop several people from being in there with their masks pulled down but luckily they left fairly quickly. But the service was great and my tire is also great. read more

This place is a joke. I bought 4 brand new tires for a side by side. Called this company to see if they can mount and balance them. Yes, 80 bucks. drive and hour to the store location. Guy setting in office looks rude to begin with says hold on. No one at the counter. Eventually gets off his cell phone,and i told him i had 4 tires i need mounted on wheels and balance. 30x10x14. I was talked into a lifetime alignment service on my vehicle. Each time I come in, they put me at the end of the line because I am not paying for the service. I made an appointment for a specific time, and one hour after I arrived they had not even started yet. What is worse is the attendant at the counter, who was indignant that I would expect service under my warranty, would only tell me that the service would be done when they are done. I brought my car in a few months ago and in the process of looking it over and fixing the problem they broke a piece. Then a few weeks ago brought in my car again to have the the AC fixed and again they broke a part. Went a whole week without being able to use the AC/heat/fan while waiting for the part to come in. Finally got it fixed only to have the tech crunch my bumper when parking it and then not tell the manager. They've done nothing to help make things right. Still trying to work things out. I've been a long time Hibdon Tires Plus customer. The Tulsa location on Olympia is terrible. Their management is completely non-existent. Their customer service is horrible. Four customers waiting for their repair work. Two in the lobby waiting to be helped. Staff answered no less that four phone calls while ignoring those in front of them. In store customers should take precedence over call ins. Both waiting customers left unserved. This location needs new management or to be retrained. Other locations are not as poorly managed. Customer service was great! Only issue I had was that they told me the nail in my tire was too close to the sidewall. It was about 1/2 an inch from the sidewall and they recommended I buy a new tire. So, I called a place in Skiatook that I get my oil changed at, and they said they would take a stab at it. Overall, the place in Skiatook said it was an easy fix and couldn't believe Hibdon wouldn't fix it. He understood that it was close to the sidewall but it wasn't too close to fix. We were in town for concert and realized my wife's front tires on her SUV were not in good shape. We needed to drive back across the state in rain so wanted to just get them replaced before we left town. Called this store 4th and the previous three stores including another Hibdons didn't have tires for it in stock. Veronica was very helpful and let me know their warehouse was in town and she took the time to check availability. She gave me a few choices we decided on some michelins she called the driver to see when they could be delivered and got them to the store in 45 min. When we showed up they were ready to start and got everything done in a timely manner and got us on the road. Michael the tech did a great job as I was worried about my rims getting scuffed since they were powder coated and this had been my experience at a few other locations. I got there 10 minutes later and waited patiently for 1 hour 45 minutes. Asked the rep to see when my truck was getting in the shop and one of them rudely answered that my truck wasn't a priority because there was other customers. His name is "Del". Walked over to my original rep "marqueen" and he said there is 3 more cars in front of me and it'll be about another 2 hours before they get to my truck. And I asked why if he told me I'd be next in like and no response. So I asked for my truck keys and left. No apology or even try to work with me. Seriously just wasted almost 2 hours for no reason. Called this store at 11:11 about a couple tires. I was right next door and was told there were 2 tickets in front of me. So I went over and I am still sitting here and it is 1:25 SUPER SLOW!!! So I decided to give them another try! Made an appointment online picked out my tires. They had a 50000 mile warranty. They called this morning to let me know they didn't have those but had another "comparable" tire. Cost was 20 more but ok. Get to the appt. and asked to see the tire and what the warranty was. There was NO warranty. I asked how that was comparable to the tire I had picked out?????? Anyway last chance not going back. Give your business to discount tire. I called around to almost every tire shop in Tulsa, and Hibdon Tires Plus was the cheapest, which is why I chose them. I got a new set of tires, an alignment and an oil change for a fraction of the cost anywhere else. Ernie, the store manger, is definitely the one to talk to. He really cares about his customers and will make sure your experience with Hibdon is excellent. I recommend you drop your car off and go back and get it later, rather than waiting for it. I really like the people that work here but they are so slow. I came in a little before 9:00am, it's now 10:46am. I did not have an appointment, so I expected it to take at least a couple of hours. When I went up to get a better understanding of how long it would take, the fleet authorization was printed at that time. If I hadn't asked I would still be sitting there and not "in line" for the service work to be completed. Just told probably two more hours. Even with an appointment it can take nearly two hours for an oil change. The place is busy, and the people are friendly and courteous....but wow, it takes forever to get an oil change. read more

My friend went there and was told she needed all new brakes and tires they then charged her $700 for brakes, like are you kidding me! And then after I told her she was getting ripped she told me that they saw she drove for Lyft and told her that if she didn't get her car fixed they would report her. So out of fear of losing her means of income she bowed down to these idiots. Last year I found an amazing mechanic that I trust. He is super helpful and always upfront about every repair cost down to the penny. It's wonderful and always reasonably price. I've come to expect this when I get my cat fixed. I needed tires recently and went to Hibdon since I didn't think about taking my car to a mechanic for tires. (Engine problem = mechanic, tire problem = tire store right?) I went in for an advertised $41 tire and end up with a $440 bill, that math didn't add up to me. I later find out about additional fees and added warranties I paid for. Needless to say it was way more than I expected to pay and I felt they were not up front about how much I would be paying for the services. I called and went back multiple times with invoices from my mechanic (Hibdon was willing to match a price) to get a bit of a refund. While they have me some money back I felt I had to do a lot of extra work to get what I was owed. I also felt the employees were aggressive to me each time I was in. Over all not a great experience and not a place id recommend. ***UPDATE I recently went back to Hibdon after my tire started separating. This is the same tire I purchased a year earlier. I went back because I felt they should be under warranty. Long story short, I had to pay more money for a piece of junk tire. They told me it would take an hour. I ordered four tires from tire rack and asked them to put them on my car. First came the multiple hours-long delay from when they said they could have it done, and then I checked their work and the tires were on inside out! Had to have them take it back in and do it all again after explaining that some tires are unidirectional...went back for mounting on one tire (shame on me) and not only did they try to charge me twice what tire rack was for the same tire, they also once again took multiple hours longer than quoted and when they parked my car they pulled up too close to the curb and tore up the front bumper. I have given this particular location multiple chances to get things right and I will never take my vehicles there again. I have had to return my vehicle numerous times because they didn't balance the wheels correctly or the weights simply came off.
