I'm glad I finally had the chance to check out Reeders. Growing up, we'd pass it on the way to Woodward Park, and I always wondered what treasures were tucked inside. After seeing it pop up all over my TikTok feed, I had to see what all the hype was about. They offer a wide variety of treats, sweets, and ready to eat options. I tried the spinach artichoke dip and the hummus. The dip was excellent, rich and flavorful, while the hummus was just okay. One downside is the pricing. Both the prepared foods and the candy and novelty items felt quite expensive. The shop was fairly crowded during my visit on a Tuesday, which made it a bit difficult to move around and browse comfortably. It did start to feel a little overwhelming at times, though it is easy to see why it draws a crowd given the sheer variety and unique selection. My favorite was the Hammond coconut crème bar! Was headed home from work and a warning light came on in my car to check tire pressures, so I took an exit off of the BA and went to Reeders and sure enough, I had a small nail in the center of my tire and it was losing air so I had them fix it. I was charged $52.91 for a flat!! $52.91 is RIDICULOUS!!! I could've spen another $25 and got a brand new tire!!! I DO NOT recommend this place and will NEVER EVER go back!!!! Love this place! The kids were very confused when we walked in because we thought it would be a fun surprise. It looks like a regular auto shop from the outside. This isn't your typical tacky candy store. Lots of high quality ingredients here, low on artificial garbage. Also, pleasantly surprised to not find any more adult looking items that some candy stores sometimes have (like sodas with pinup girls or candy cigarettes). Very family friendly. Cleaner products. They even have some actual food ready made and also take and bake/refrigerator style. Great place. i'm intending the current review as an idea of what a chill visit to that which so multifaceted a store can be. as waiting to get on the next bus at the stop about a block from the convenience store and auto shop, and while i threw the last quarter or so of the dr. pepper freeze into the trash before getting on the bus, the part i'd drank had a good taste and steady consistancy, likely to have been so til the very bottom, and providing me more encouragement to get in tune with that bus route ahead of time. 9 out of 10 on dr. p slush for now, round up to 5 stars of course. read more

Came in to Reeder's after I saw they had the viral Dubai chocolate bar on their Instagram and I have been wanting to try it for the longest time. It was a bit expensive at $11 for a small chocolate bar but I was paying more for the experience. I spent a lot of time trying to find it in the aisles but didn't have much luck as I couldn't really tell how things were organized just by looking. Located in a very busy area. But parking is plentiful. So I saw a video circulating about how awesome this place is. So we decided to take the short drive to check it out. It was okay. They do have a variety of cool stuff and great variety of snacks/candy/toys. But the shop is tiny and the food options weren't as much as the video made it seem to be. Honestly, the food looks super tasty! But it's a bit hard to enjoy looking around cause it's very tight in some areas. I snagged me some freeze dried gummy bears and sour skittles. Very delicious! Definitely try the sour skittles if you get a chance. My new fave! Will update my review after I try their food. The Beef Stroganoff looked scrumptious!! Recently went in to buy some soft drinks and snacks. When I asked for an extra cardboard pizza box for left overs and even offered to pay, the rude man looked me up and down and said said "no." The only reason I can think of for him to be so rude and dismissive is because I appeared unhoused perhaps? I got snotty vibes from everyone else working in there and so I left without buying anything. Found this place due to social media. went out of our way for my kids to get some of the viral candy they were showing. they had a Tiktok viral candy box, I figured I would get that instead of the 8.00 a bag Swedish candy or the 15.00 dubai chocolate bar. it was 50.00 and when you say viral TikTok candy, I was expecting to have one of those or anything viral in the box!! guess what? the only viral thing in the box where the mango peelers gummies, which you can find anywhere for cheap. if you type in viral candies on TikTok, and you will pull up nothing in that box. it's candy that can not sell. I told the cashier that was ridiculou, and it needed to be relabeled due to false marketing, well guess what wasn't the first time he heard it. My favorite gas station, it's such a cute place to get special drinks, chips, coffee, slushes, or their fresh foods! You can also get your car fixed up in the garage, they have a car wash too! This place is awesome! You can choose between full service and self service for pulling gas, I chose full service and received a free car wash (only if you fill up over 8 gallons). The owner was VERY NICE. She told me about their food options and what all goes into it, she even was so nice to bring me a sample slime so I could choose which one I wanted. Not sure why there's reviews about her being rude I feel like her personality is strong and some people might not like that. ‍ I love a good strong woman! I have frequent this gas station ( but it's much more than that) for several years. I think their snowballs are the best ( frozen soft drinks) in town. Their selection on sweets and food is incredible. The store is very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Their gas is bit higher than most places but it's one of the few places that offer someone to pump the gas. Their air pumps are great- you can do it yourself or have them do it for a charge. The air pumps get the job done unlike a lot of places. The owner is a sweet lady. I have not used the mechanic side of the business so I cannot speak to that part of the business . read more

Nice stop off with the option of full service vs. self-serve. The pumps on the full serve side have air for tires, and you can use them without cost, but if you prefer an attendant, they'll do it for $3. The store is pretty phenomenal for a station - lots of selections and some excellent brands as well. The pumps offer both ethanol supplanted as well as 'pure' petrol, if that's your need. This is a really cool gas station/convenience store. They have full service as an option for about $.40/gallon, and self serve for regular price. There is also the option for real gas or ethanol. I almost didn't go inside, but I'm glad I did! They carry a lot of treats from local bakeries and vendors in their store. It would be a great place to stop in to try a few different treats from local establishments. I got a brownie/mint grasshopper dessert parfait and it was really tasty! I have been watching their Instagram account. You just want to visit after seeing all of the unique items they offer. Candies and homemade foods. Cinnamon rolls from Savoy. Cake from Lugers. Sweets from Antoinette. Daily lunch specials. I am wondering where they cook them. The station is not huge. They must have a hidden kitchen. They also have full service lanes for gasoline. Full service means they pump the gas for you. A full service garage to get your car worked on or new tires. Gas stations don't exist like this anymore. Old school stuff for sure. read more

5 stars for the convenience store and 0 stars for the mechanic shop. I love the gourmet and unique items in the shop. The employees have always been super friendly in there and I think it's a great addition and fits in perfectly in that neighborhood. However, my husband and I have both had not so great experiences with their auto center. My husband's Jeep was having an issue with the AC, Reeder's could not find any problems but charged somewhere around $75 to look at the vehicle. We ended up taking it to the dealer for repair. I brought my car in to have the brakes inspected. Reeder's quoted me $1300 to replace both the front and back. I took it to another shop where they told me that I only needed the rear ones replaced and it was $420. A big difference! I live nearby so it's a convenient shop for me but I will definitely be driving a bit further to save some money! read more

I was very eager to try this retro looking store. I went to buy beer for my husband, being 24 and in quarantine us been hard enough. The owner checked me out, very sweet to the older gentleman in front of me. When I step up she asked for my ID, I then hand it to her. She then asked for a second form of ID. I did not have one with me, she explained my hair was up and it's hard to tell, I went to take my hair down for her. My tips are blonde and that doesn't look like this 4 year old license picture. I was in there today, an off duty officer came in, "I know he is an off duty officer because he came to my recent car wreck" obviously in a hurry, the lady behind the counter asked him where his mask was and he said he didn't have one as the hospital asked him to discard the mask before he left. He also informed her that he had been vaccinated. She looked at him and said "then you can get out of the store" she was very rude to this very kind man who serves our city. Stopped at Reeder's due to nail in tire of pickup truck. Service guy said it couldn't be repaired due to location and that manufacturers recommendation for where patch repairs shouldn't be done. Offered to get spare out from under truck bed and mount it. Service was prompt and I was on my way in 30 minutes of stopping there. Also gave me prices of replacement tires. My kids and I love coming in to buy after school treats and the owner is always very kind to us. She saw that the tires on my vehicle were wearing and knew they were not safe to drive on. I had all new tires and brakes put on yesterday. Nick took really great care of me. I feel like I'm driving a brand new car again.
