I can't wait to come back to the Jackson area so we can go to Hibiki again. Luckily we do come to town quite often to visit family. This was one of the best restaurants we have tried in the area. The outside appearance doesn't do justice for the inside experience. But hey, who cares when you get the friendly service and amazing tasting food as we were served inside? I had the Ahi tower which I'm already craving to have again and my husband ordered a variety of items from the sushi and sashimi menu. All well done. Miso soup has never before been an item for me to compliment but theirs made me go MMM a lot. Our server was so attentive and had a smile that would make anybody's day brighter. I thanked my daughter for telling us about Hibiki and we wish we could find a restaurant similar up near Memphis. Will be back very soon! read more

I would compare our experience at Hibiki to eating at a family member's house. The waitress was very doting on our children and if we needed anything she was very quick to help us. The food was high quality. True sushi grade fish. The sashimi and sushi rolls were prepared with care and it showed with every bite. The restaurant itself was very mom and pop sized. Just enough room for three or four families to sit together and eat. But it was decorated with plenty of Japanese ornaments and made it all feel authentic. We will be back for sure. read more

Hibiki is always delicious! Definitely the best hibachi and sushi in our area, and one of our favorite restaurants. The people there are always friendly, the food is quick, and quality is consistent. (We went to another well known spot recently just to mix it up and Hibiki really is sooo much better!) The chicken hibachi is great - the veggies are cooked really well too. As far as sushi, our faves are the b town roll, the "any 2 roll combo" (we get the salmon avocado and tuna avocado rolls), and the firecracker roll. What a good find. I have been driving right by this place ever since the previous owner retired when it was one of the better vietnamese restaurants in the area. What a mistake! I went at the suggestion of a friend yesterday and was blown away. Sushi was really good and I would assume that everything else was judging by that. But what made it a 5 star for me was the whole experience. The price was fantastic, the quantity was generous, the staff was very friendly and accommodating and I loved the small hole in the wall kind of ambiance that felt homey and comfortable unlike a high end restaurant where you know you will need a loan from the bank to get out of the door. This will definitely be a regular go to from now on when I'm feeling a little oriental vibe. read more

This is the best sushi you can get in the area! My husband and I have always had fresh, tasty food here. It's a relaxed casual atmosphere - always clean. Fun curios and figurines decorate the walls. The staff are friendly and attentive. The rolls are creative and flavorful. We can tell the chef enjoys creating new dishes, and we enjoy tasting them! Some highlights to check out are the moon roll and the golden salmon appetizer. We have since moved from the area, but we still make the hour drive to eat at Hibiki. it's worth it every time! read more

Ordered online for convenience, and it was ready for pick up in less than 20. We didn't try their sushi as I am weary too eat raw fish unless I know it's super fresh. We did love the Vietnamese fresh spring rolls-they were so flavorful and fresh. Next time I plan to ask for avocado in them. The chicken fried rice was great- it came with onions and mushrooms, so if you don't like mushrooms make sure to ask them to leave them off. Their house salad was fresh and the ginger dressing was awesome! This is a much much better place than OEC as it is fresher, tastier, and about the same "cheap" price. We will be back! read more

Customer service is not good if you have a problem with your order does not want to remake it nor give you your money back. Will be very discrimitive toward you over the phone or even if you were to go there in person and complain about your order and say that you are trying to get something free when you payed for your food with your hard earn money will even try to get the police involved when you are simply asking in a kind a polite way about them remaking or just refunding your money back. Whether this is your first complaint or second complaint about your order or just not please with the service that you received . This is the best restaurant I know of in the Jackson area. It's in a strip mall and easy to overlook. Doesn't look like much. But.....The service is good and friendly. The food is phenomenal. Nothing I've seen from here is bad. They take food presentation to another level. It's absolutely beautiful. They use great ingedients, and you can tell they took pride in creating the menu. Try the Ahi tower if you want something amazing (and only $13). This is the type of place, when you get your food, everyone starts taking pictures of it. I bring my friends here and no one has had a complaint, it's always nothing but compliments on the food. If you're looking for sushi or even hibachi or teriyaki, this is the place to go. Look no further, this is the place, hands down. I go every chance I get and to top it off, the prices are reasonable, especially when you consider the high quality they serve. GO HERE!!!!
