But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. We were away from home and had just eaten at another restaurant, so we purchased only two small things--a brookie (a chocolate-chip cookie with a brownie inside) and a small cherry pie. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. The emu was confined to a tiny pen between two buildings, which was especially sad to see. The kangaroos and alpacas were also kept in very small, cramped enclosures. Several animals had dirty water, and the overall conditions made it seem like the animals' basic needs were not being prioritized. The lobby smelled strongly of cat urine and was extremely unpleasant. The cleanliness of the facility was unacceptable. The pony ride was also incredibly disappointing. We paid for a pony ride and got one lap around a tiny area. We were then charged separately for food to feed the animals. What bothered me most is that this is a business making money from these animals, yet the animals we saw did not appear to be receiving the care, space, cleanliness, or conditions they deserve. These are living animals, not attractions to be squeezed into tiny pens just to generate money. I left feeling genuinely sad and angry for the animals. They deserve so much better. I would absolutely not recommend this place. The conditions we witnessed need to be addressed, and the welfare of the animals should come before making money from them.

When it was time to exit the hayride, I lost a gemstone ring as I was brushing off hay. The staff pitched in with flashlights and helped search. A guy (non-employee) who helped direct me to the market and opened the door for me found they were closed but then let me know the employee was going to let me in. This employee was Pat. You get to see the female alpacas first (about a herd of 8 of varying ages), then the males. Each paid guest receives a cup of food to feed the alpacas (save some for the males!). Bring a napkin/hand sanitizer because the alpacas like to lick up every last morsel from the palm of your hand, and some may spit at you! There's also fun games in the field, including a large giant slide for both adults and kids, a flat bouncy area, a fenced area for bouncing on some oversized balls, a tug-of-war, and other activities.

Everyone was so nice & friendly. We met the man who makes the wine, he introduced himself to us and was so kind. The property was beautiful and set up so nice even though it had just poured rain two hours prior. The wine was delicious (and I don't even drink)! The ticket price was $35 for this event, but you get 12 samples of wine, a fun time in a huge corn maze, free cheese, chocolate & fruit, and the chance to make new friends. Overall, we had an amazing time! We even finished the night with a bonfire by the sunset & hot chocolate.
