But you can enjoy the festive vibes and decor without doing the whole experience if you are short on time or cash. Their food is delicious! The best way to describe it is homemade comfort food! The friendly staff is knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have about what certain things are or about ingredients. You can also eat fairly affordably, especially for the portion sizes and homemade, quality ingredients. The shop has a variety of souvenir type items (shirts, magnets, mugs, stuffed animals) but also local products like cheese and candy. They also have bakery items and tasty ice cream. My husband and I shopped in the market one time. We saw milks, cheeses, deli meats, salads, baked goods, canned goods, ice creams, candies, and much more. So many delicious foods! We were away from home and had just eaten at another restaurant, so we purchased only two small things--a brookie (a chocolate-chip cookie with a brownie inside) and a small cherry pie. The total price was $11. On the next day, we ate the brookie and the cherry pie at home. They tasted pretty good. Now I feel interested in trying more of their foods and doing a tour of their farm...

It took an hour wait to get the bus from the parking lot to the festival and the line for the one vendor for real food (not dessert) was at least 40 people long! The owners must have known by online presales approximately how many would show up and based on year's past attendance. They should have hired another bus. They used to have the lavender rows labeled for educating oneself on the various lavender varieties. Those were gone. I won't be going back.

The hours are 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, although table games are typically open only during the daytime. Customers may play with their PENN PLAY card or with cash. The casino also has restaurants, bars, horse-racing, and other events. For about 11 years, my husband and I have been occasional customers of this casino. We like how the floor is split into smoking and non-smoking sections. We gamble relatively small amounts of money, and in both of our visits in the past year, we came out slightly ahead in our gambling on the slot machines. Our cashier paid us promptly and courteously. In October 2025, this casino had The Tipsy Cauldron Pop-up Pub, which had Halloween and Harry Potter themes. The bar was not busy when my husband and I arrived, but we waited several minutes for an employee to take our order. We skipped ordering foods, but we really liked our two drinks, the Spellbound Cider (rum, apple cider, cranberry, cinnamon, etc.) and the Rotten Pumpkin (vodka, coconut rum, mango, triple sec, and orange). I wish, though, that the cups were as fun as the ones shown online--a witch's hand and a cauldron.
