I have been wanting to try this for ages but I'm not usually around this area. It was pretty busy when I went because it was a nice day, I'll start by saying that don't have a lot of parking but they do have outside seating which is nice! The building is cute but the inside is a little dingy looking. It's definitely like older. The ice cream was good but it wasn't anything special - I don't believe they make it themselves, but I could be wrong. It was a good stop but I don't think it'll warrant a drive out there unless I'm close by. They sell a lot of other products too from other local businesses. I didn't see anything about the zen den coffee but if I'm not mistaken they did buy out their receipts. That would have been nice to try. read more

Visited on a slow evening for ice cream. Asked if they accommodate allergies which they said they did. We asked for them to open a new tub of one of their allergen free flavors to avoid cross contamination, and they refused. There was no one else in the store that it would've inconvenienced, we were disappointed especially after they said they could be accommodating. read more

Really nice people, really average ice cream. Mine didn't have any ice crystals in it, but my friend said his had a lot of them... obviously that's not ideal. We agreed that it was just like getting any tub of ice cream from the grocer. But they're exactly what they claim to be; it's not a small batch hand churned thing - that happens to be my particular jam, though. There was a super long line and I'm glad they're doing well. Their food options looked great (breakfast sandwiches on huge NY bagels). But we were there for the ice cream, and we weren't disappointed. Hey, it's not cheap, but it's quality ice cream and privately owned, so it's worth it. Parking is a bit tight and seating outside was pretty limited when we were there. But no complaints here. Vanilla, chocolate, marshmallow swirl and chocolate nibs. The hubs ordered peanut butter swirl (in vanilla base). He enjoyed his single scoop cup. Very quaint country ice cream shoppe. Variety of flavors of ice cream and water ice. Love that they have loaves of Stocks pound cake for sale. ($18.95 ) but if you're craving it, you don't have to ride to Philly to get it. And chocolate candy for sale by the pound. Sundae was creamy and delicious and comes with whipped cream and a cherry standard. Outside tables with a nice view. You can pick up a T-shirt too. Kids work the counter so expect less than exceptional service, especially when it's busy. Popped in for some ice cream on a Thursday evening about 30 minutes before close. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Even brought the dog treats (that we bought there and forgot to take - doH!) outside to us. Ice cream was very tasty!!! Today while my dad was getting my son out of his car seat, my dad and other son were standing behind an suv parked next to us. The woman starts backing up, coming within an inch of hitting my dad (with my son right behind him). My dad is 6'7" tall and heavy set. Kind of hard to miss when he's standing right behind you. She rolls her window down and says "we're in a rush, we have to get to an event." So I responded with "so that makes it ok to almost hit my dad and son?!" And she just responded with "we are late for an event!" Not a "sorry, I didn't see them" or anything like that. No apology. She then backs out and decides to say "if you have an issue you can go somewhere else. Please don't go in my store. I'm going to call them right now and tell them not to serve you! You don't need to be rude!" (Turns out it's Laura, the owner of the store! I didn't know that until afterwards.) Then she says "we're late for an event, we have to go!" So then I was pissed and said "then go!" motioning with my hand to leave and she calls me an a$$hole and leaves. We still went inside, because she's completely in the wrong, not us. The phone rang over and over while we were in there but the two boys working didn't pick up. We were very nice to the boys and left them a $4 tip, which they appreciated. After all, none of this was their issue. Then we ate outside at the seats and when getting ready to leave, Tom, the husband, came walking in and was glaring at us the whole way in. All we were trying to do was celebrate my sons first day of kindergarten. She never once apologized and instead decided to be rude and call us names instead just because she was "late to an event"! All it takes is a little decency and human kindness. Funny too because there's a sign inside that says "human kindness is free". She must not read her own signs. Now, we will not be going there anymore. Hopefully she doesn't own the one near Lahaska. I'd rather drive from Souderton to Lahaska then patron her store ever again. A shame too because they do have good ice cream and the employees we've encountered have all been pleasant Edited to add: Tom, you say your wife wouldn't be rude for no reason yet, the more I read, the more I see negative reviews all over social media saying how rude she's been to other people for NO REASON! You won't fight with or throw people out over not wearing masks but you'll fight anyone who says she's rude. That's funny. You're just as bad to back her up! Neither of you should own businesses. I've been getting messages left and right about people saying she's rude, or has a problem with their race, or tells people not to come in when she doesn't agree with their comments on Facebook. I've been visiting off and on for years. Since the new owners opened a little while ago, the selection of products offered has expanded. They offer coffees and teas, baked goods, and even some gluten-free goodies. Something for everyone. The people behind the counter are super-friendly, and while you occasionally have to wait for service, it has been because they are hand-dipping or making treats for the folks in front of me. I don't mind because it gives me time to be tempted by things I never noticed before. Could prices be cheaper? Maybe. I don't notice they are any more expensive than other ice cream parlors. Had been here several times this summer. Service was great,fresh products and lots of flavors of icecream to choose from. Servings always generous. Went tonight and it felt like a different place. Staff was very rude and inattentive. I had to wait while girls talked amongst themselves. They were unfriendly and seemed annoyed that my kids wanted to try different flavors. This was the second time there. First time was great. Very lovely staff the first time. Not sure why this time they were horrible but it was such a poor experience that I won't go back again. I came by this ice cream shop a couple of years ago and again the other day, and it must be under new management because the changes they have made are great! They have a full coffee bar, teas, baked goods, and obviously a ton of options for frozen treats and sweets. We ordered a PB Heaven sundae, a banana split (GIGANTIC!), and a root beer float. All were tasty and enjoyable. There is an old fashioned wooden bench on the porch where you can sit, or a few tables with umbrellas. Peaceful little oasis.
