Scrumptious! Ah, ice cream--a truly splendid treat, isn't it? There's something delightfully nostalgic about it, evoking memories of childhood seaside holidays, where one would valiantly attempt to enjoy a 99 Flake before the entire thing succumbed to the elements and dribbled down one's sleeve. Now, as for the quality of the ice cream itself, one must insist upon certain standards. A proper scoop should be luxuriously creamy, with a velvety texture that lingers on the palate--not some disappointing, icy abomination masquerading as the real thing. The flavour ought to be well-balanced; too sweet, and one feels as though they've been accosted by a bag of pick 'n' mix; too mild, and one is left wondering whether they've actually consumed anything at all. Naturally, there is always the question of toppings. A drizzle of proper hot fudge? Magnificent. A scattering of crushed nuts? Delightful. However, one does draw the line at anything too outlandish--nobody, in the history of civilisation, has ever needed an entire doughnut perched precariously atop their sundae. All in all, when done correctly, ice cream is an absolute triumph of a dessert: indulgent, comforting, and entirely capable of brightening even the dreariest of British afternoons. I highly recommend this delightful place.

Super cute and how can you say no to options like funnel cake or ice cream at breakfast. Plus the staff was so nice and attentive.

Really an excellent place to get some quality food at a reasonable price. Give it a try!

My friend first introduced me to this place and it definitely is great to have just a regular ice cream joint around. The first time I went was in May, about two years ago I believe and it was really great. I recently went and the worker and a woman who I believe was the owner, were both super nice. The owner also paid great attention to detail with how her product was served and showed the girl how to properly whip cream and cherry a sundae. The only complain I have is the ice cream didn't appear all that fresh and looked pretty frost bitten. It was still tasty but definitely could have been more fresh. The place is tiny but they offer a lot of great menu items. I only ever tried their sundaes though. They apparently also make pizza and other food but I don't know how this is really feasible when there are lines of customers wanting ice cream. Overall it's a cute place I hope it does well. They're not open in the winter - just a heads up!

Great food and service. The special omelette with shrimp was fabulous. Fair pricing. Will try dinner next time.

Is it large enough to hold a party of 9?

The place has roughly 8 to 10 tables. They probably would put tables together.

We stopped in for happy hour, which is offered from 4:00-6:00 PM. The happy hour menu had a great selection, and every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was exceptional--attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our visit. The manager also stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was going well, which really stood out. They also offer an impressive selection of creative and beautifully crafted cocktails. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend giving this place a try!

It just seamed like they threw in lime juice or mojito mixer and threw in 2 lime wedges and mint leaves and a lot of liquor. Limes were not muddled with the mint leaves and sugar like mojitos usually are. The lime juice or mixer they use did not taste good and it lacked sweetness. When we sent it back the bar tender became visible upset and appeared to be giving our server a very hard time. The returned mojito was also not removed from the bill. We then tried a margarita. It lacked sweetness and was very tart. We fixed it by asking for a little agave to add to it. Here's was the deal breaker for us. Thier lack of willingness to make minor adjustments or substitutions to anything even for a food allergy is absolutely unacceptable. For example: You won't be able to switch a side or ask for any adjustments to thier meals or cocktails. We asked about making a minor adjustment to a drink due to a food allergy. The drink was topped with a foam and we asked if we could leave out the foam. It would not have changed anything about how the drink was made aside from it simply not being topped with this foam. The answer was a hard no, the owners do not allow it. The manager came and talked to me. She was pleasant and I appreciated her taking the time to hear my feedback. However, it was very clear that I was wasting my breath because the owners are very particular and strict about not changing anything. It was not a good experience. We paid our bill, gave the server a good tip and took our business elsewhere.

From the street it has a really cool look and the inside leans into an industrial style with a great aesthetic. It's a comfortable space with a nice vibe. We ordered a couple of cocktails: a lemon drop and a Manhattan. Strategically we decided to split a Detroit-style pizza called the Iron Pig. Good call because one square was the perfect amount for dinner. And now we have a few meals to heat up for the next few days. The drinks were excellent and the pizza was outstanding. Great flavor. Our server Ally was welcoming and friendly and top notch on service. It is the middle of winter so we weren't considering outside dining, but they have a great outdoor space near the street. Looks like a fun place to hang out. It's definitely a place we'd consider visiting again.

Driving by simply delicious many times on York Rd. I have been curious. Today was the day curiosity finally killed the cat literally and figuratively. When you don't hear anyone talking about an establishment locally, that should tell you something - when I asked others about simply delicious. No one had even heard of it. Come to find out it's been an existence for quite some time. What is basically a glorified coffee shop simply delicious yarns to be a posh café/bakery. In reality it leaves a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked into the unfriendly faces. The semi tableservice, (order at counter and they bring it to you) the overpriced food, and the coffee/tea served in paper cups. This is definitely not a sit down place. More of a grab and go type of joint. The hungry man sandwich was served on brioche "toast" that was dry crumbling, and not at all sufficient to handle the weight of the sandwich. The sandwich itself was assembled haphazardly and lacked any real cohesion in both flavor and texture. The platter special consisted of French toast bacon sausage patties (house made) and eggs your way. Mine were scrambled and were decent enough. The bacon seemed high quality but could have cooked a bit longer. The house made sausage patties were overcooked and tough with more spice than I would have desired. The French toast was well soaked in the egg mixture and more than enough for a serving. Probably ranking high on the list of French toast I've had. However, I don't believe it is a staple of the menu. It was a special of the day. I would only really recommend simply delicious when the yearning for a good scone comes around. Either that if looking for a quiet place to sit and chat with an old friend over a scone and coffee - there isn't much of a crowd so it would be the perfect place to catch up. As for me, and he, not likely to return. Far too many other options locally, that have better ambience, food, prices, and most importantly people who are happy to see you and make you feel welcome.
