I recently attended a wedding at Hidden Acres and was very disappointed in the quality of the venue. When entering the parking lot there is a security guard to check for your name on the guest list but seeing as he didn't check ID it seemed like a false sense of security. When entering the ceremony area you have to go down an unfinished staircase which is incredibly difficult in heels as a lot of people would be wearing to a wedding. When sitting down on the benches my dress also snagged on the wood. I would expect something more finished at a wedding venue. The venue was unprepared for the weather and did not have enough heaters out so most guests were very uncomfortable. During the dinner buffet the salad had nuts mixed in it with no sign or verbal warning for those with allergies which is very concerning. Lastly the fire pits were turned off long before the end of the evening which I thought was a waste of an amenity. I would not recommend anyone using this venue for your wedding. read more

My now-husband and I took a really long time searching online through countless wedding websites for the perfect venue. I am so grateful he stumbled upon Hidden Acres. We decided to do a tour and from the moment you drive through the gates, you immediately find yourself in a cute, rustic, beautiful environment totally different from the windy mountain roads we took to get here from the freeway. It's a hidden gem!!! We loved the lakeside part of Hidden Acres because you get both a beautiful lake as well as the majestic mountains in the background. They had a great package deal for brunch, and after checking out one other venue...which couldn't even compare....we knew that our hearts were set on Hidden Acres. Sofia was the most awesome wedding coordinator in the world! Hands down! She was there to answer every single one of my questions via text and phone (even after hours!) The day of our wedding, I was extremely nervous, but luckily Sofia coordinated everything and made sure everything was set up and ready to go!! Our guests honestly couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. And they thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal (which we absolutely loved as well!!!). This is not an easy review for me to write as my planned wedding at Hidden Acres was a very traumatic experience. We signed with this venue pre-COVID in 2019 for a Fall 2020 wedding. When the Stay at Home orders came into effect in March 2020, we were naturally very concerned with Hidden Acre's ability to host our wedding. It was still too early to say as our wedding was still months away, so we continued making our monthly payments per our contract terms. At three months prior to our wedding, State and County orders remained unchanged and stated that wedding receptions were prohibited. We checked in with the venue and were informed that the venue reopened in June 2020, hosting weddings on average under 120 guests, and operated under "outdoor restaurant dining guidelines." We questioned the ethicalness of this loophole, so we reached out to both the California Department of Public Health and San Bernardino Department of Public Health a month prior to our wedding. Both agencies specifically said that "a venue cannot use restaurant guidance for a wedding reception as all wedding receptions are prohibited." We were forced to cancel our wedding at Hidden Acres due to State and County orders the month prior to our wedding day. We were very disappointed in Hidden Acre's response to government orders by continuing to host large events, as there were many headlines of weddings being COVID super spreader events. Hidden Acres pocketed $25k of deposits and refused to refund us for their inability to host our wedding for over 150 guests. Other minor notes: - The average email response time took 1.5 - 2 weeks - The communication for booking our food tasting appointment and the final detailed meeting was very inconsistent. We were required to confirm our food tasting appointment and food selections 5-6 weeks in advance but was only given a 9 day notice for our final detailed meeting, which fell 3 weeks before our wedding day - Manager (Sofia) sent us altered contracts when we did not specifically request or approve the changes (e.g. When we asked what our options were if we could not fulfill the number of paid guests, the manager on her own reduced the number of contracted guests and added upgrade food charges) - The food & cake tasting was mediocre and very disappointing given that we were paying $150+ per person. The salad dressings & sauces tasted store bought. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to taste the food prior to signing the contract and can only taste it a month prior to the wedding TLDR: Venue ignored state & local COVID-19 guidelines and pocketed over $25K read more

Part 2: Last MAJOR issue, coming back to the topic of security, which is now bringing me to sadly write this review as my wife and I will never forget what happened cause it completely took over the entire wedding. We discovered our card box (full of memories we will never get to look back on and money) was gone. My wife and I both got on the phone to call all 100 guest that attended (also the security miss counted our guest and said we had an 85 count found out he didn't check in everyone) and notify each person what had happened and that we were waiting for video footage. We were told twice that there was security camera footage( the venues camera system, and a separate system which only the owner had access to) to which they back tracked and told us oh we're sorry they're not working or they were never turned on. There was never any footage due to power outage so heads up if you book that they are negligent in making sure it's operating again after the outage which seems to happen very often.The security provided by the venue was promised to keep us safe and he did not. He allowed a young man to come on the property, not a worker or a part of our guest list, during the time the box went missing. We questioned his vehicle and why he was there and it was just brushed off and he wasn't even a concern to the manager cause he was the boyfriend to her daughter, and when we questioned why he was on the property, the security staff stated, "he comes all the time, he's no worry." As if breaking our contract meant nothing to them. My wife never once pointed the finger at the venue staff following the disappearance of our card box with money but they seemed to be okay with pointing theirs during every conversation saying "we can vouch for our staff. Are you sure it wasn't someone who was apart of your wedding?" Every opportunity they had when we tried gathering information about the box missing was a chance for them to blame our family and friends. It's very sad how they conducted business handling this as they broke contract by also allowing another group of unwelcome guest to stay on the property during our event and didn't disclose it to us. I think letting people besides our guest was very distasteful of security and the owners they broke their promise and put my guest in danger. We don't care who did it but the venue did not hold their promise and were not of help to provide us information like our family was able to. The security was able to remember guest by name and who drove what car but they couldn't even provide us with any detail of a guest leaving with a rather decent sized white box read more

My wife and I were searching for a venue that had everything we wanted and Hidden Acres had EVERYTHING that we could have imagined. Every other venue we looked at didn't have what we wanted for except here. Even from the beginning, we fell in love with the secluded property that has a stunning backdrop of the San Bernardino Forest. We received nothing but compliments from all of our guests and how beautiful everything was. Sofia was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the whole process and was in constant contact with my wife and I. Everything was perfect from the DJ to the food to the flower person. Sofia gave us a list of vendors to contact for additional things we needed (DJ, flowers, Cigar Roller, Cake) and all of them knew exactly what we were looking for. Just having Hidden Acres and Sofia made planning a wedding in 6 months SO MUCH BETTER. I recommend Hidden Acres to anyone that is looking for a venue that you don't need to hire a wedding planner for. Sofia was an amazing wedding coordinator and helped with EVERYTHING and on the day of, she had it down to a science. My wife and I were nervous about "wedding food" but Hidden Acres had an amazing chef and the food was SOOOOOOO GOOD. We had bruschetta, wedge salad with bacon bits, Italian chicken marsala, scallop potatoes and julienne mixed greens. Hidden Acres is truly a hidden gem, After visiting a handful of venues that were either way over priced (hidden fees) or not anywhere near aesthetically what their photos showed, my husband and I were getting so discouraged till one day we literally googled "hidden wedding venues" and Hidden Acres popped up! After touring the venue, we were able to have a great discussion about budget and expectations with Francesca. She was so honest and accommodating and assured us she would take care of us during this time. We felt so comfortable with her and were so excited to book with Hidden. Hidden Acres was a perfect balance of included services, and DIY freedom. To top it off the food there is insanely good; we had such a hard time nailing down food options because they all tasted so good! 2 months before our wedding my mom had a heart attack and was scheduled for a long recovery in the hospital. We weren't sure till the day before if she was even going to be able to attend our wedding, but amidst this unfortunate situation we knew things would go smoothly on our big day. Francesca even texted occasionally to check-in on my mom and see how we were doing, and helped figure out a wifi option for face-time with my mom at the hospital. There were a few scheduling issues, but Francesca ( or Sophia the manager) would always be prompt to call us, and figure out a solution, and also work with our schedules. Long story short, Francesca and all the staff we encountered at Hidden Acres were so friendly, easy to approach with questions & concerns, and so sweet. when i tell you how absolutely PERFECT our wedding was at this beautiful venue!!! words cannot even begin to describe it. my husband and i got married in august 13th, 2022 at bella terra. our guest count was about 160 people. everything was perfect! almost everything was all inclusive, including bouquets and boutonnières, photobooth, buffet style food, dj and mc, both ceremony and reception sites which are right next to each other, cocktail hour, bar tenders and servers, and security. you have the option to pick from a variety of bar packages but we chose to have a cash bar (we paid for everyone's dinner after all). all of the details in the lead up to our big day was handled by sofia! she was sooooo amazing and definitely knows what she is doing! it was nice to not plan as much and just go with the flow. she was always close by whenever we had questions or concerns. our day of coordinator was Krystal and she was AWESOME! matched the energy of our crazy family in so many ways. she made sure my husband and i were comfortable and nothing was allowing us to ruin our day. i had absolutely no worries about anything bc she handled all of the small drama like a pro. just a few concerns: the all inclusive package only covers until 10pm but we opted to purchase extra hours just to accommodate our party family. photographer, officiant and centerpieces are not included. there is absolutely no reception BUT there is a land line for emergency purposes. i strongly suggest to have someone handle all of your small decorations for you just to make sure they come out the way you imagine them. we brought in small vases, candles, picture frames, etc and they weren't exactly placed where i would've liked them to be but i honestly didn't care as the day went on, LOL. all in all, 1000000/10 and would definitely get married here again if i could. maybe for our 25th anniversary! read more

Wow! Let me just say that what I'm about say does not justify this place. I had my wedding July 21, 2019 and it was such a memorable day which is all to the help of the staff at hidden acres. Sophia and Deanna are very very amazing people. They make your special day stress free and cater to you like no other. In my case I actually showed up first rather than my future husband, and right when I arrived they made sure my future husband was no where near me until I walk down the aisle. The venue I selected was called belle terra, I fell in love with this venue and how much greenery was surrounding the area. At the time I arrived I headed to my bridal room where there was mimosas and sandwiches available for myself and my bridemaids. Through out my whole wedding I had no stress of any kind everything was handled by the staff at hidden acres. If I could give more stars I would because this venue is amazing! All my guest mentioned how beautiful my wedding was and how the FOOD was amazing, which typically is always a dilemma at weddings. First of all I'd like to say BEAUTIFUL venue. Although, my experience as a bride there was not great. My wedding day fell on one of the rainiest days of the year last year and as far as a back up plan they really weren't prepared for it. We were checking the weather daily up until the day of and all they came up with was to have it under the gazebo which was the only back up plan they had. As far as the guests go they had to walk in the rain with their food. As the bride I had to walk in the rain with my dress dragging through puddles (thinking the coordinator would ATLEAST hold it and spread it out once I got under the gazebo), and the bridal sweet was flooded and my bridesmaids were the ones trying to keep it from getting worse and soaking my dress before I even walked out. My wedding coordinator was M.I.A for the beginning and most of the wedding up until the end when it was time for us to leave. I had bought a wooden stand to put pictures on and my bridesmaid called and asked to pick it up and they claimed they didn't have it so I never received that back from them. Lastly, my cards/money were gone. I had a box for cards and money and at the end of the night I only had 2 envelopes left. A few weeks after the wedding I started receiving calls from my family asking if I opened their card yet and I said no I never received anything and they said they put it in the box with all the others and I said there was only two in there and they stated no it was pretty full. So at that point i had to kiss that goodbye because weeks had gone by already and no venue will ever say "yes an employee took it" so there's no point in even trying to get those back. read more

Hidden acres was our 7th venue that we toured in pursuit of the perfect place to have our special day and to say that we were in awe is an understatement. With three ceremony sites and two beautiful reception areas to choose from, this venue has much to offer. After touring the entire grounds we decided upon the Bella Terra side which is rustic chic and swaddled in elegance. We instantly fell in love with this side and locked in our date. Our original wedding date was 12/4/2020, however with Covid in full effect, we had reservations about having a wedding during that time. Sofia the wonderful site manager helped us to secure a new date on 12/3/2021. Throughout the entire planning process we felt seen, heard, understood and most importantly welcomed. Which as a queer couple was something my husband and I were concerned about when selecting a venue. Hidden acres was nothing but warm and welcoming. Our day of event coordinator was Courtney who is truly a wonderful coordinator. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was seamless. It is plain to see that she loves her job and has a passion for ensuring that the couple to be has a perfect day. Our wedding was absolutely glamorous, magical and filled with so much love. We could not have envisioned a more beautiful day for the start of our marriage. This place is beautiful HOWEVER there were so many things that went wrong with my niece's wedding. My niece is too nice to say something to them, believe me, I've tried to convince her to call them but she wouldn't. So here's what I experienced through her wedding. 1. The food was subpar - at best. But you can't really ask for much, that's usually how it is. They really should allow outside food if their own food isn't great. 2. The DJ hired, through this venue, showed up late. He said he didn't know we booked him, even though I spoke to him myself and there were text messages, and email exchanges - months in advance. He said he didn't get our last email with song request, so he didn't know we booked him. What a poor excuse since we spoke via text messages and phone calls. He should have copped to his mistake and offered a discount. He pushed everything back putting the reception about an hour behind. This was incredibly frustrating. The guest were so hungry. 3. The photo booth pictures (again, another vender through this company) spelled the bride and groom's name wrong AND input the wrong year. It's on all the photo booth pictures. The guy who runs the photo booth is nice and super accommodating but I wish he paid attention to these two important details. The place is beautiful, clean, and the staff was nice enough. So if you're thinking of booking this venue, make sure to watch out for these things. read more

The stars are for the venue itself. Hosting our Wedding at Hidden Acres was a dream come true for us. When we found out that the date we wanted was available we just had to book the venue. -VENUE AMBIANCE: Lake Side: The ambiance is beautiful. Its huge, the scenery is spectacular. They do need to fix a few things, for example the fresh water container we're falling apart, a few fixtures need upgrades and certain areas need remodeling. -VENUE PRICES: The venue price is fair. BE CAREFUL WITH THE EXTRA FEES THEY CHARGE YOU WITH OUT YOUR CONSENT! They approved our florist to come in early to decorate with out our consent and charged us for something we verbally agreed against. The staff came us during our party, asking for a credit card expecting payment during our party. By the way they only give you an hour to decorate and charge you extra knowing it doesn't take 1-2 hours to decorate the place! $500/hr -FOOD: Worth the upgrades. Lots of compliments with our choices. I do wish they would have allowed some of my guest to get 2nd's they told some of my guest that they were closing the buffet. I felt like they could have given a LAST CALL for the buffet line. Lots of money went towards the food! Not ok for my guest to be denied 2nd's. Don't assume my guest know this information Hidden Acres -SERVING STAFF: Most of the servers are young adults. All dressed in black, They kept the tables nice and clean. Very respectful and professional. -BAR: I GIVE THE BAR TENDER 0 stars. After a weeks of talking to my several family/friends they all mentioned the bartender and how rude he was to them. They have open bar, Cash bar, or both. We did both. They charge a corking fee if you want to bring your own bottles. Make sure you find out how many guest will be drinking so that you don't have to pay for each guest. I provided the venue with a list of names of who can and can not have alcohol. They told me that they would stamp every person that I listed but non of that happened. They also did not announce a "LAST CALL" for the open bar so my guest assumed they had to pay for the bar before it was suppose to be a cash bar. Had they mentioned it, it wouldn't not have been a big deal. Also, some go guest did not look over the age of 21 and were denied alcohol by apperance WITHOUT CHECKING ID! They were kicked out of the bar. One of my guest was kicked out & grabbed by the neck by the security guard because he appeared & being "disruptive." I understand the staff does what they need to but the stories are different and I can't wait to see cameras on this incident. -SECURITY: Security was kind the entire time. He kept anyone that didn't belong out. Minus the way he chose to take kick out a family member from the bar. (Pending Camera viewing) security guard 1 for 170 guest. 1 guard Checking everyone in. Not ok -PARKING: There is plenty of parking inside the venue for the guest but some of the guest did not know there was parking inside so the parked outside on the street. with a long walk in dirt. They need a sign indicating there "GUEST PARK INSIDE" -DECORATIONS/FLORIST: They allow you to bring in decoration. They also have a sister company called "Striking Elegance" that provides beautiful decor at affordable prices. One of my florar arch's was placed backwards, I asked them why they didn't mentioned anything to the florist and they said, not our florist not our problem. Talk about customer service. They gave us the impressions o, "if not hired by we don't care if it comes out wrong" -COORDINATORS: We had the opportunity to work with Francesca and Sophia. Both lovely ladies. Made tons of amazing suggestions. They answered all of my email, text & calls in a timely manner. They scheduled all of our appointments for food tasting, and final run through. The final run through was such a breath of air because I felt like going over everything that is important to us in this day would be talked about and taken care of by the coordinators. However they missed things during the wedding. Things that they verbally agreed they would do for us but didn't! -Our guest wont remember all of these things but you as the couple will. You were the ones that spent money and time to creating such a memorable day. Over $40k into a day that only last 6-7 hours. All t's should have been crossed, all i's dotted!!! There is no excuse for the little mistakes. We understand human error but with amount of money that goes into this day they should have someone help with the details. My suggestion is to hire a Wedding planner and don't depend on the coordinators at Hidden Acres! As for the Coordinators from Hidden Acres, come up to the bride with a video/pictures or everything that is going out there (Since she can't leave the room) and also a list of all the things you and your staff completed. Hidden Acres was everything we wanted in a venue and more! We were looking for a beautiful outdoor venue surrounded by nature where we could dance the night away under string lights and Hidden Acres did not disappoint. We were married here last month and our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how great the whole evening went! Francesca did an amazing job coordinating the event and was always there to answer questions and provide guidance from start to finish. Everything came together exactly as we imagine! The venue includes your delicious food, beautiful flowers, amazing cake, and DJ...saving you time and money and reducing the stress of planning and coordinating vendors. There are two beautiful sites to choose from and we got married on the Bella Terra side where everything was recently renovated and picture perfect. We were so blessed by everyone involved in building such a beautiful wedding for us. Sofia, Cindy (striking eleg) Ann (Freelance DJ- preferred vendor), and Ana (the florist- preferred vendor), and Joey Reger (photographer - preferred vendor of Hidden Acres) and sooo many more! Hidden Acres: Sofia was so sweet and so confident in taking care of everything, I was almost scared it wasn't going to be everything we dreamed. Boy were we blown out of the park with EVERY DETAIL. We are still receiving compliments about how gorgeous the venue was, how AMAZING the food was, how breath taking the decor and FLORAL were, and how above and beyond the staff went. Our guests keep ranting on about how this was their favorite wedding to go to. What more could you ask for when everyone had such a beautiful time? We could not have been more blessed. I wanted an outdoor elegant dream and they made sure it was more than we could have imagined! I know that they truly went above what we even asked and gave us the pinterest approved wedding of our lives! :) Sofia: I have never felt more taken care of. I didn't think it was possible to feel so comfortable and just KNOW that she was there to make sure everything went so smoothly. From day one, she truly made the day everything it could be and more. My parents said they really appreciated how she kept everything flowing and was MORE than helpful in every way. Ana: Our floral design was absolutely gorgeous. Ana was priced SO WELL and I cannot believe how beautiful her work was. There are no words for how gorgeous or arch was, all of our bouquets, especially mine, every centerpiece was outside this world unique and gorgeous. Striking Elegance: I was not expecting so many candles and such beautiful decor all over the grounds. (like they knew I wanted, but was on a budget) They added candles and so many beautiful things everywhere in order to give me the vibe I was really wanting. Ann: Let me just tell you how much FUN Ann was as our DJ that night. She was a BLAST and made sure to get everyone comfortable and having fun. She was hilarious and my guests are still raving about how much fun they had with her. She truly made the reception everything and MORE. Joey Reger: Wow so our photographer was hilarious. He was the perfect amount of calm and excited and has done a beautiful job with the pictures we have received thus far. My guests were raving about how they loved him so much. He was a part of the party and still got down to business. Sometimes pictures can be awkward and he really made it relaxed and exciting. He would make us laugh and created such a beautiful atmosphere. I trust he made magic. During the reception he had our photos displaying on a laptop screen for everyone to take a peak! SO awesome! One thing I have to say is, buy more time. If there is one thing I would change it was the timing. We got married mid October and the sunlight does go down earlier especially in the mountain canyon. So I would start the ceremony a bit earlier than 5 pm in order to get more lit up pictures. We were rushed so we could chase the sunlight a bit for our photos. I do have a huge family so we had a lot of pics to get through, and we didn't do a first look so we had limited time after the ceremony to get as many pictures as possible with a lit up sky. So, one piece of advice, start earlier so you can enjoy and not feel too rushed for light, if that is what you want. Overall in terms of time, my guest feel like they danced ALL night and loved it, even though it less than two hours by the time you are done with all the dinner, father/daughter dances, cake cutting, etc.... I could honestly rave for hours about how amazing and blessed we feel by choosing to have our wedding here. It's not even about the money, but honestly you get your moneys worth and more here! And it was not even priced too high. We looked A LOT of venues. Some priced over 20k just starting. Hidden Acres was less than that and we feel like we got WAY more bang for our buck. It was definitely our dream wedding - Krystal was our coordinator & she was absolutely amazing! She made sure to stay on top of everything, kept us on schedule, she made sure to check in on my husband & myself. If we had any questions or needed help with anything she was on top of it. I literally have no words to describe how thankful I am with Hidden Acres. Our wedding was beyond perfect. It was the rainiest day ever. I was so in tears. They have the best vendors. The Florist kept me positive. She is the sweetest person. She understood my vision 120% and seeing my vision come to life, WOW it was GORGEOUS. The DJ was AMAZING. Never ever was the dance floor empty. It stayed packed all night. I got Crystal as my coordinator for the rehearsal and for the wedding day. We were so blessed to have gotten her. She saw the rain, but she kept me positive. I mean when I say she got us, she got us. Her positivity, her energy, and vibe kept me calm, positive and super happy. All my bridesmaids and groomsmen loved how she treated each one of us. I literally thanked Jesus that day for blessing us with such an awesome coordinator. She said stay positive and we did. We booked this to be what we thought was our dream wedding venue pre-pandemic. Fast forward to June 2020 when we made the tough decision to postpone our December 2020 wedding a year due to the pandemic. A majority of our guest list, including both families, all lived out of state and we were looking at the likelihood that our parents and grandparents wouldn't be able to safely travel for our wedding. Hidden Acres was the only vendor we had booked that wasn't willing to work with us even though we even offered to pay the higher 2021 prices to reserve a new available date. They expected us to keep making payments until 6 weeks before our scheduled wedding date without any guarantee to allow us to postpone. When we tried to push back, they stopped responding to our emails (& already weren't answering their phones at this point). It wasn't until we asked for our money back and told them we wouldn't be making any further payments that they offered to work with us but at that point the damage was done. We ultimately decided to cut our losses with this venue and begin our search for a new venue that was more compassionate towards their clients during unprecedented times. read more

Before obtaining our appointment to walk the site, it was very hard to get in contact with the scheduler. I was informed that I would be contacted after my initial phone call but as weeks continued I reached out until they were able to pen us in. We toured the venue and it was wonderful. We decided to book the venue and I noted that I would need to be more organized and on top of things to go smoothly. But I did not account for ALL that we would have to go through because it was very stressful and unorganized. Payment: It should be simple and to the point. We would receive emails of a reminder that our payment was due. We would pay before the deadline. I would ensure that it was organized by sending an email to Sofia reflect the number of payments (i.e., one payment out of four), attached a payment reflection from my bank, and our wedding details (i.e., date). But we would receive emails saying we were late, payment not receive, COUNTLESS times where they did not apply our previous payment so it appeared as though we didn't pay. It was a hot mess. Tasting: The tasting was a nice experience. The only issue was that another party extended their time so we were in a room with another group. Also, we requested two kids' meals which were to be a pizza. We paid the adult amount for the kids which was okay, but at the wedding, they didn't make the pizza and the kids ended up eating the adult meals. What is the point of asking and having it marked on our final sheet if it is not going to be executed? Also, there should also be an option to find a different individual to cater. Vendors: When reviewing the vendors, I tried to review their social media accounts, yelps, etc. I was highly recommended the make-up artist, florist, & DJ by the Hidden Acres coordinator. I book the make-up artist who was again lacking communication skills and was very pricey. NOW FOR THE DJ, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. We booked because Sofia mentioned that he knows the Hidden Acres routine and is a great DJ that enhances the environment. If you take anything from my post please take this advice. We booked him and we were presented with a URL link for us to upload our songs. I made multiple Spotify links with the titles Appetizers, Dances, etc all clearly labeled and to be played when those events begin. We requested via email AND text message for the DJ to not play the whole songs and only parts. The DJ ignored our requests and played the whole song so the mood would die down during our dance portion. I went up to him multiple times throughout the day to remind him. When I would go up, he would be off talking to Sofia or EATING. In addition, we requested for the father/daughter and mother/son to be shortened and he kept playing the song AND recording for his Instagram to post. While dancing we waved at him THREE times to tell him to end the dance. NOW for the most irksome part. Like I previously stated, I made playlists for each section of the wedding. For the dance portion, HE DIDNT PLAY OUR PLAYLIST, he played his. We have a more reserved family and did not want to play "Get Low" and we explicitly talk about not having it at our wedding. BUT HE PLAYED IT and he played the EXPLICIT version at a brunch wedding. Additionally, for our walk-out portion (where people through roses and we exit) he couldn't find our song. So, we had to play a random one. It was highly disappointing because we spent countless hours trying to find the perfect music for us and our guests. Sofia: It was VERY difficult working with Sofia because she was very scatterbrained and unorganized. Many times I would leave a voicemail and have to call back days later and receive an excuse of "Oh, I was busy". I would also have to send double and triple text messages to get a simple response back. Prior to the wedding, she continued to reassure us that she would be by my side (bride) and make sure everything would go smoothly. CONSTANTLY, we could not find her, the bridesmaid/groomsmen/cousins/mothers would have to go search for her through the venue. Times would get pushed back and the people keeping me on track were my bridesmaids. A few times she was caught in the lounge area eating. We reminded her multiple times when the next event was and that we needed to transition. It was just so difficult. There were positives and amazing things that occurred but it feels as though the negatives overshadowed many times. If you do plan on getting married at this event, make sure to be organized and prepared for the hassle you may experience. Definitely outsource the vendor read more

Perfect venue! Hidden Acres is just stunning, beautiful views from every angle, it was definitely the perfect place to host our outdoor wedding. The nature aspect provides countless photograph opportunities (we also had our engagement shoot here!) and gives you a more private atmosphere than your typical ballroom. It's a little bit of a drive up the mountain but it's completely worth it. None of our guests had issues with the drive or the lack of cell phone reception. Another big pro is they have all-inclusive packages which are a huge help during the planning process. Their food and cake selections are very tasty to say the least! Our guests always rave about the entrees when reminiscing about the wedding. They also have a handy preferred vendor list for anything not included in your package. Their staff is amazing! Sofia and her team are very helpful throughout the planning process and are great with communication. Hidden Acres is the most beautiful venue. It is a hidden gem in the Inland Empire. I just had my wedding last weekend. It is a rustic dream wedding. Pros: - Staff is responsive over email and phone. - Bartenders are super nice and open to suggestions. - Easy to decorate because the venue is naturally beautiful on its own. - They are really flexible. - Easy to get whatever rentals you need. My wedding was amazing. The venue was a dream come true. Our wedding came out better than what we envisioned! The servers was amazing and I'm still getting calls about how good the food was! I would have gave it a 5, but the day of coordinator didn't have any of my info for the wedding. We had issues with table set up, they didn't even see the guest gifts, until guest started to arrive. Also we paid extra for the games, and they were not out until I noticed and said something, by then, cocktail hour was almost over and it was too dark to play! They also said we would have access to wifi towards the end, so people could get ubers or what not, that didn't happen either. Absolutely NO PHONE SERVICE, even if they say there is. But I still would recommend this venue. I also would recommend the venue to have the "day of coordinator" at the final meeting, so they have a chance to meet and get a feel for the soon to be bride and groom! read more
