By far one of the best card shops I've ever been to! They have an incredible selection of cards, from Pokémon and One Piece to Yu-Gi-Oh!, so there's something for every TCG fan. Everything is incredibly well organized, which makes browsing a breeze. Their bulk is neatly sorted by set, the One Piece singles are easy to search through, and the Pokémon selection is especially impressive. They have separate binders for Japanese cards, $1 cards, and cards under $5, plus a fun section at the counter with great cards priced at 2 for $1. What really makes this shop stand out is the owners and staff. They're genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They create such an open, positive atmosphere that you immediately feel comfortable hanging out, asking questions, or spending time digging through bulk. They even gave me a stack of Energy cards to paint on after I mentioned I couldn't find any in the bulk--such a thoughtful gesture that really shows how much they care about their customers. This has become my favorite shop to hunt for cards, sort through bulk, and just spend time in. My wife and I stopped by this gem of a shop after we ate at Brodard Restaurant (best Vietnamese Pork Spring Rolls in SoCal IMO) and she was seriously impressed. This is my second time here and this time I wanted to get our friend in Japan an English exclusive card. Andrew and Victor were super helpful and friendly as usual. They pointed me in the right direction and we ended up picking up two cards in exquisite condition within our budget. A Charmander promo and a prismatic Eevee. In total, we probably spent less than 30 minutes but Andrew made the selections super simple and we got two cards with beautiful artwork at a great value. We'll definitely be back for our Pokemon fix again soon! Well worth the 5 stars!! read more

I've been coming to Breakpoint for the past few months and it's been one of (if not) my favorite local card shops in the area. The owners of the shop, Drew and Vic, always greet me with a smile whenever I drop by. They have boxes of bulk for Pokemon sorted by set, along with some Yugioh and One Piece. They have a fair amount of higher end singles in the glass cases too. They host weekly Pokemon and One Piece locals and frequently post on their IG story about new cards they're adding to the case. First timer! GPS took me to the plaza BEFORE it. If you're in the Mr Baguette plaza, go out and make a right again. It's the next plaza. It's a bit hidden but you'll see it. I had no idea there was a Pokemon card store near my matcha runs. Yay, I'll probably stop by when I get my matcha!! Right when I walked in, I was welcomed, even though they were busy. So I really appreciated that. Drew was super helpful and customer service was 10/10. They have binders and a lot of bulk you can look through on the tables. I didn't ask for the price for bulk cards. (Oops) I was too excited that I found some singles I was on a hunt for. Prices they based everything I bought on tcg I believe because all the pricing was what I had in my mind. Drew and Victor run one of the BEST card shops I've ever been to--no exaggeration. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted and actually feel welcomed (which is rare compared to a lot of other shops). They're both super friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about collectors--not just making a quick sale. Their selection is awesome: bulk for One Piece, Pokémon (10 cents!), and Yu-Gi-Oh, plus a great variety of singles. Everything we've bought has been in excellent condition and very fairly priced, always in line with current TCG values. What really sets them apart is the service. They remembered that I collect Yuka Morii cards and even helped me work out a deal with another customer. That level of attention and community-building is something you just don't find at most stores. Every time my husband and I come here, we leave happy with great pickups. These guys are the absolute best tcg shop in OC, no doubt. Selection is always decently large, despite them being a newer store. Drew and Vic are always incredibly helpful, patient and kind, and are always willing to negotiate a bit on pricing. Very nice space tucked away in Little Saigon with wide variety of One Piece, Yu Gi Oh, and Pokemon cards, with other smaller TCG's (Weiss Schwarz, etc) as well. Pricing is great with plenty of playables/singles and bulk for each game as well as fair rates based on TCGplayer comps for the binders/full arts. Had a great first experience at breakpoint TCG. First off the shop is very clean and easy to tell it's a card shop from out front. Once inside Drew helped me find two new cards I needed for my Pokemon decks post rotation. He hooked me up with me up with a good price for buying the set. Super friendly and helpful customer service. Next up Ian pointed me in the direction of the bulk cards because I needed a few playables for new decks I'm building. Astonishingly enough their bulk is very well organized by set making it a breeze to find what I need. Overall would recommend this shop to anyone looking to grab some Pokemon or one piece cards. read more
