My fiancé and I have loved living here. We moved in around a year ago and haven't had issues save for some unsavory neighbors that moved in recently below us, but that's no reflection on the complex itself. It should be noted that whenever we lodged a complaint about the neighbors I mentioned, the front office was always quick and responsive, and the maintenance team has been as well, usually out at our apartment the next day to fix whatever issue we have. The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired, as they only have a few machines and no barbells at all. The dumbbell set only goes up to 50lbs. as well, and one of the 35lbs dumbbells is missing. It's pet friendly, and they provide waste bags for dogs which is nice. Yes, it's pricey to live here, but you have to know that going into it. It's unfair to the complex to move in and then complain about the cost of everything when you knew beforehand that that was the case. All in all, it's been a pleasurable experience with the green scenery, beautiful trees, and our lovely apartment with its vaulted ceilings. All of our friends and family love coming over, and we love hosting. I would recommend this complex to anyone. read more

I was interested in living here even with some of the bad reviews because mostly people only come here to complain . Well, should have believed all the reviews . I had questions about the units prior to applying . I called and was told by the automated system a text will be sent shortly . Didn't receive it for two days so called again and no luck. I went on Zillow where I found them and sent a message and never heard back. Also went on apartments.com website where I messaged too and no luck. I actually toured back in August of 2025 and had an old text from them and sent a message on there inquiring about the units . I received an automated system response text saying to call (760) etc etc we have this unit free etc. It was a different number than the website so I tried and guess what , no luck . I was trying to give benefit of the doubt , I had my hopes up and clearly this happened as a sign from the universe . If I can't hear back and I haven't moved in yet , can't image the response rate once moved in . I saw the website mention careers and jobs and on there it shows that leasing people get commission so makes sense why when I toured back in August i had many follow up messages. It's like the other review said , once signed , they probably go MIA. Who knows , maybe the staff is truly busy and the company hasn't figured out how to fix the issue. read more

We rented an apartment at Hidden Cove for my daughter and her two roommates while they attended college. The community itself was lovely--neighbors were friendly and respectful--but unfortunately, the apartment management was a completely different story. At first, Karla was great--responsive, professional, and helpful. But toward the end of the lease, communication disappeared entirely. I have proof of multiple unanswered messages, both by phone and through their renter app. It felt like once they had no more use for us, they just stopped responding. Now let's talk about fees--because Hidden Cove will find a way to charge you for everything. We set up electricity, or so we thought. Turns out it didn't go through, and since power was still running, we had no idea that Hidden Cove was footing the bill--until months later. That's when they tacked on not just the utility fees, but an extra $50/month in "admin charges." And conveniently, they didn't start billing us until October--so we couldn't even dispute it. For a while, utilities alone were over $500/month. Add to that $65 per car for parking and a $50/month penalty for having three cars, and it was just ridiculous. Despite all of this, the girls made it work, took great care of the unit, and left it spotless. Still, we were hit with a $160 cleaning fee and a $400 painting charge. The walls had normal wear and tear, nothing out of the ordinary. I've emailed asking where in the lease it says tenants must pay for professional cleaning or repainting--and of course, no one has responded. This management company lacks professionalism, transparency, and basic respect for their tenants. If you plan to rent here, read the fine print very carefully and keep documentation of everything. This might just go into the void but I do hope that it'll help at least one person avoid making the grave mistake of renting an apartment with these absolute clowns. Live in your car, live in a motel, live with anyone else before coming here. They are snakes in the grass. I get selling things; we all do. However, this line of thinking and strategy doesn't really apply to housing. Karla will tell you everything you want to hear, as a sales person does, but unlike a product or food service an apartment is a semipermanent, ongoing service that a "manager" such as herself has to provide help for. She will absolutely dip out of the picture once you sign those papers. Not only does she make these ostentatious claims about helping and being there and "oh here's my number, call any time" she will outright treat you like a nuisance when she sees you around the complex. Felt great, thank you! The other manager is just as terrible. Ashley seems to be the "head manager" although nothing about this complex makes sense. She is a very defensive, snarky person to deal with and when I brought up legitimate concerns about them screwing us over on our early lease departure, I was told that I was being preemptive and not giving her a chance. Well, funnily enough, she DID screw us over at the end and never communicated with us or put into writing the steps she was going to take to work out our lease agreement and instead completely stopped communicating! Now we tentatively owe 30k on a disgusting, filthy one-bedroom apartment. Who, I ask, can afford that? Especially those who are in an apartment to begin with. If communication is too hard or overwhelming for both of you, do not be managers. In fact, do not work with anyone you have to speak or relay information to. It's like you have made a concerted effort to go out of your way to be defensive, hostile, and unhelpful. You are both useless individuals and deep down you know that, which is why you work and thrive at a place such as hidden cove. The apartments are disgusting. A one bedroom will run you 2400 with their many, many HIDDEN :) fees. My partner and I joked that we'd be better off living in our car instead and it actually turned out to be true. They will never give you your deposit back and will coat the walls with more thick, ugly paint so that you can barely close the doors. They will leave toilet paper holders broken. They paint over their electricity boxes and when you need to reset the electricity because you can't have more than two things connected to an outlet at these holes you can't reset anything without taking a chunk out of the wall. You can hear everything, walls are ridiculously thin. There's BLACK MOLD alllllll over the windowsills. It didn't matter how many times we bleached it or opened our windows, we'd wake up to a mass amount of moisture all over our window panes and a bunch of black mold. Their solution was to do exactly as I did; clean it with bleach and "if it keeps happening, we'll change the windows." That window looked like it hadn't been replaced in 20 years, and I doubt that was the first time somebody had complained. People let their dogs shit everywhere without cleaning it up and although they claim to "fine people" for that it seems to comically enough be the one area these bozos don't greedily pursue. People let their dogs off of the leashes. Kids ride their scooters and bikes down thoroughfares constantly. Park has no listed hours or any that they enforce and people with their kids would be out there at 11pm screaming. People drive like absolute maniacs in the parking lots, my partner almost got hit and I've had a few close calls. People park in spaces they have no sticker for even though hidden cove claims that they take this seriously and will tow cars. Hardly saw that if at all. Trash is everywhere. Dumpsters overflow and trash has just been out in the thoroughfares, days on end. *HORRIBLE office hours. They don't even exist it seems. They just get there when they feel like it and they make sure to lock the doors completely so that you, their tenant that pays their bills, can't come in to speak with them. You have to stand outside like a dog. They also don't answer any of their phone lines and when you do attempt to call them, it just leads you to a person at AIR community headquarters in Colorado. It's completely useless. They don't want to speak to you or help you in any capacity. They make you jump through a bunch of hoops and when you do get a hold of them they are nonchalant and don't care that you had to struggle to speak to them. Like everyone else has said on here pretty much, do not rent with this evil entity. Put your money literally anywhere else. I moved into Hidden Cove with high hopes, thinking I'd give it a fair chance despite the mixed reviews. My partner and I were excited to make it home. But after nearly two years, I can honestly say this place let us down in almost every way. -Internal Black Mold Issue regardless of minimalist lifestyle, constant ventilation + cleaning maintenance. -Gate always broken, homeless access -Daily Lawn Mower Noise, not good for WFH jobs or sleep -flea exposure -Laundry Room constantly left door open causing pest exposure -Rust in dishware beyond our control -Hard to reach office mgmt Health & Safety: Just a few months in, we found black mold growing on the floor near our bed and along the bedroom window seal. Our home was clean and uncluttered we would always try to control the ventilation & humidity + cleaning products however it was obvious the mold had been painted over, not fixed. We would wake up congested and low energy. Pet Issues: Multiple dogs, including ours, got fleas. Management only acknowledged it once--in April--They mentioned a "general flea treatment," but we'd never been notified of one before that in the prior year. It was clear they acted only when the issue became widespread. Unkept Promises: They removed the jacuzzi without asking residents, claiming it would be replaced with "additional seating." No one asked for that. The jacuzzi was well-used and loved, and removing it felt like another way to cut costs while pretending it was for our benefit. Poor Communication: Phone calls and emails often went unanswered. Issues were ignored unless escalated. You would always catch residents waiting at the front of the office because phone/text were left ignored. Inconveniences Add Up: No access to the gym, for our building. You would have to walk across the other 2 buildings because theres no reliable resident parking unless you live in specific buildings. Appliances and dishes began rusting due to constant indoor moisture from poor building ventilation and maintenance--an issue beyond tenant control. Daily lawn equipment noise--even when there was barely any grass to maintain--disrupted work and sleep, without improving the grounds. Bottom Line: The price might look reasonable and the photos inviting, but don't be fooled--you'll end up paying far more in stress, repairs, and quality of life. What seemed like a good deal turned into a draining, frustrating experience. If you value your health, peace of mind, and being treated like a human being, look elsewhere. read more

After being a resident for 5 years, i have many complaints. first off, on move out inspection, i had the place professionally cleaned. i was notified that it was "unsatisfactory" and they would still be charging me another cleaning fee which will be taken from my deposit. they also (unless you live in the same unit for 4 + years) demand you pay for new paint. which also comes from your deposit. they do not have central air. they HAD hot tubs, but after recent renovations, the hot tub was removed in the 975 side of the road. the entryway often floods when it rains, and instead of fixing the sidewalks to appropriately drain, they MIGHT put sand bags every 6 feet so your feet don't get soaked in the 3+ inchea of standing water. they only enforce parking violations after hours. (to which they will tow any car parked without a decal) however will not tow someone when you call in the violation for someone taking your spot that you pay 65$ a month for. the "security" that is assigned to the complex will not do anything, they just tell you to call police in any serious matter, such as addicts using the pool restrooms as their home. the laundry services are overpriced, and not enough machines to launder an entire community. needless to say, do yourself the favor and move in somewhere that will supply the amenities that you deserve for the cost. avoid at all costs. read more

I have lived here for 2 years and if I could afford to break my lease, I would. The landscaper noise alone would drive anybody insane. This is 3-4 times out of a week for at least 3-4 hours and they start right at 8am on the dot because that's when quiet hours are over. I have contacted them several times about maybe doing it once a week or later in the day, but their response was their "mature" landscape requires lots of care. EVEN IF IT JUST RAINED THEY ARE OUTSIDE STILL! It doesn't make sense. So just based on this alone I would NOT move here, under any circumstances. I have had an amazing experience with the management at this apartment complex. A special thank you to Karla! From the very first day that I had my tour, she called me to confirm and texted me pictures of information. Karla gave me my tour of the complex and drove me around in the golf cart. She was kind, funny, and obviously great at her job. She knew the answer to every question and gave me and my roommates her personal phone number. She answer all of our texts quickly and kindly. It was difficult going through application processes at other apartments, but Karla made it so easy and quick. I am very impressed with this apartment complex. They are also remodeling, and it looks awesome. If you are considering this complex, I would suggest touring with Karla. I am excited to be living here! :) read more

I've lived at this apartment since 2019 and recently moved out but I am honestly really happy to finally move out of this place! The first year or two was actually good with quiet neighbors and maintenance was pretty good. I renewed the lease cause everything seemed fine but that's when everything went downhill... It seems like their management company completely changed as they were asking us what renovation they did to our apartment when we have no note about them. The community was really loud with people riding skateboards when it shows that you shouldn't and smelling some weed/smoke/vape around. We also had some dog pooping in front of our area so we would have flies coming into our area which shows that the apartment doesn't care about cleanliness. Was even strange when we also had a random guy coming into this "gated" community with selling ice cream..... Parking was good when we have our assigned spot and paid monthly but there were many times that people would park at our spot and I would have to keep calling a towing company to get it towed. There was a good week or two when the towing company said that they can't tow due to the "contract with the apartment saying not able to tow". And living on the lower level, the floors and walls are very thin when you can hear the neighbors walking back and forth especially if they have a dog that runs around and barks or if anyone plays music. I have reported a few times about the loud noise but nothing is still being done if the neighbors don't cooperate. But overall, I definitely don't like this apartment and am so happy that I finally left it. Even dealing with moving out with them was a mess... I got a lot more negative things to say but that is one of the main things to notice. They call themself "luxury" but it really isn't in my opinion. The location of these apartments is convenient and feels relatively safe and modern. However the biggest issue is if you have any problems it's extremely hard to get in touch with the leasing office, emergency maintenance, management etc. They are often not open during listed hours, and do not respond to emails, texts, phone calls, and voicemails. It's hard to resolve when every time I go to the leasing office they are closed, and I absolutely can't get ahold of anyone. read more

The parking lot is rotted out,due to my building having water leak issue for 3 years, it flooded the parking lot for 3 years, then finally someone fixed the water, but DID NOT fix the broken parking lot. Karla in the office is awesome! She's so helpful and very nice. The community is pretty, nice landscaping and the units are upgraded.

This apartment is what we called home for two years and during those two years, it was decent. Very expensive for what it is and no washer or dryer in unit but what makes it up is the response of Karla at the front desk. She was able to help every problem and issue we have under 10 mins and was very sincere about it. She is the go to person for information or issues you have. When my roommates and I decided to pay for two parking spots at $130 per month, the office failed to inform us that only two of our four vehicles would be allowed to park there. Apparently, each parking spot is registered to a specific car instead of our apartment. I was then towed from a parking spot that we had been paying for. I had to miss work and pay hundreds of dollars to recover my car. I went to the leasing office to find out why I had been towed and the woman I spoke to was very polite, but it didn't exactly resolve the issue. If you decide to move here, don't bother paying for parking since apparently, they'll tow you anyways. read more

I lived at this apartment for about a year and a half. It was consistently dirty, people were so loud and have seen several homeless people sleeping on the property!! I actually had to call the cops because there was a guy lying by the dumpsters for so long in the same spot I thought he might've been dead. Thankfully, he was okay. The gates NEVER work. The clicker they give you works half of the time, and they are so money hungry!!! We left our apartment the exact way we received it and got some bullcrap list of things that somehow amounted to the $600 deposit I placed. I would never live here, prices are outrageous. The "amenities" aren't even all on the same lot and will have to walk to an entirely different complex in order to use the "gym." Which is a joke of a gym by the way. The walk ways to the apartment flood with just a little bit of rain. I would not recommend anyone live here. The apartments are upgraded, which is nice I guess. But I moved in with my kitchen cabinets and linen cabinets missing without anyone telling me otherwise. Car got towed because I was not told we needed parking permits when we moved in. Luckily the leasing office provided a refund because that situation was ridiculous. Neighbors are loud and rude, laundry rooms don't work the majority of the time they'll burn your clothes and are broken down. A homeless man was found living in the laundry room next to my apartment even though this is supposed to be a gated community? Not only that but the laundry rooms are not always open when they said they're supposed to be. I didn't get a mail key for 2 months, never got a gate key until Karla in the leasing office finally took some action. Karla and Ashley in the leasing office are the only good thing about this place. They've handled numerous of my issues with good customer service, unfortunately one of these issues is my service dog being denied. Proper documentation allows her as a service animal on airlines, hotels, airbnbs, I even took her to Disneyland, but for some reason this apartment complex denies her. I never had this issue with property managers before she has never been denied but they deny her. It's discrimination and beyond ridiculous. The "team" that handles these situations won't even reach out to me. I've been having to go through the leasing office which is insane because 1. It's not the job of the leasing office to handle this type of issue and 2. The office in Colorado is clearly not reading my service dog's paperwork no matter how many times I email or Call them I have never received a response even though they state they'll respond in "24-48" hours. The customer relations team for this place is a fucking joke. It's sad I used to live in these apartments in middle school growing up, they may look pretty but it doesn't feel like a home and I've had non stop issues with them. Not to mention the people that literally don't shut their dogs up ever, if you're next to a person with some dogs I truly hope they have them trained to not bark because there's a chihuahua next to me that does not let my husband and I sleep. And my husband works night shift so he's pretty livid about it. When I was younger I loved living here, everything about this place was amazing to me. I was so excited when I first moved in. Just to have issues non stop from day 1. It's absurd, I've had anxiety attack after anxiety attack. I may or may not be eventually taking legal action on this place depending on how the rest of my lease goes at this place. I do not want to renew it, it's not worth the hassle honestly. Also you get charged for everything, no utilities are included, they charge you on trash, water, sewer, pest control, grounds maintenance, service fees, electricity, both reserved and open parking you need to pay for as well, laundry is paid for, nothing is included at all. I signed my lease with a rent of $1880 and every month I'm paying $2100-$2200. Not including electricity. Such a rip off for a 1 bed 1 bath thinking I was going to be paying only $1880 with maybe $50 being added for water use. Great management team, Ashley and Carla are absolutely helpful. But awful policies that they have to adhere to, this apartment complex is not for the renters. The apartment is decent but many little issues that make it not the most pleasant place to live anymore. Great amenities like the pools, gym is kinda basic. Biggest downside is the lack of community gates and onsite security, the security company they have is practically useless, everytime I call they are not in the area. A lot of little things in the apartment also were broken when we first moved in, toilet roll holder and towel racks to start. Patio hose leaks even after being repaired; front door uses a keypad lock that malfunctions almost everyday. A lot of safety concerns which made us decide to move out, 60 Day move out notice is strict and no wiggle room provided despite the circumstances. Most neighbors are fine, but a small group of tenants are either sketchy or troubled. The neighbor across from me was selling meth, having sex outside and nothing was done for months. Another neighbor I had who was smoking weed got evicted faster than the meth dealer and public sex.. if we could move out without a more lenient and not fixed 60 day notice, my review would be different read more

This place truly is as awful as many other people have said in their reviews I have only just moved in been here less than a week and already. I have been informed that I do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. The management has informed me that they condone Private surveillance which includes neighbors being able to have surveillance cameras, recording my front door, including both audio and video. Meaning my neighbors can see me at all hours of the day and hear the comings and goings from my private space. when my front door is open they can see right into my house if I have a conversation at the front door with a friend or family member they can hear it as audio is being recorded, furthermore the entries are not keyed, but use a pin code system so you enter a code to unlock your door. These cameras, like a ring doorbell, are high resolution, and if I am careless in entering my PIN code, it is entirely feasible that my private PIN code could be recorded by my neighbors' surveillance camera, meaning they could gain access to my house when I'm not here. These concerns have been brought up with the management and the management has informed me that they allow for this type of surveillance to happen because they allow people to have surveillance of their own homes, and I am totally fine with people having surveillance of their own homes but if you are having surveillance of your own home, that should not include my front door, why is there camera pointed at my door and not pointed downwards at their own door why is it recording me at all hours of the day and night without cause? I am entirely confident that this is a flagrant violation of my right to privacy to a reasonable expectation of privacy And frankly, I think it would be reasonable to bring a class action lawsuit against this property management company for aiding and abetting the violation of tenants' rights to privacy and I think that they should be brought to Justice but first I'm going to leave this place that clearly is very poorly managed has very questionable values and frankly unreasonable and dangerous policies. I am sure there are many other things that I could uncover that would also be concerning about this place. I've only been here a week, but I have no intention of staying and finding out what other ways the property management mistreats and violates their tenants. assuming they are at least respectful enough to let me out of my lease and return to me all of my deposits, perhaps I won't need to bring legal action against them however, if they don't, I will certainly be forced to have to bring legal action against them for damages by violating my right to privacy. I signed a contract. I am allowed and have a reasonable expectation to be secure and enjoy privacy in my home that I paid for and the management are not supportive of the law. if you like being surveilled by your neighbors and you think that that is a good thing to have your front door being recorded by strangers then by all means, this is the community for you, but I frankly do not think it's a good thing. I also frankly do not condone violations of the law, especially when they are Completely reasonable laws that are good and exist for a reason at the time of my departure I plan to file a complaint with the police to have on record a police report of this gross unlawful violation. But I should not have to take time out of my life to bring a court case against them when I am simply looking for a place to live, but I may have to do that if they continue to demonstrate poor judgment and flagrant disregard for personal privacy and the law. If you're looking for a place to live, just be warned, if you choose to live here, you'll be giving up your rights to a reasonable expectation of privacy in your home. The property management has dug in their heels. They will not budge on this issue they will not use common sense, and currently, I am under 24 hour surveillance by strangers who happen to live across the hall from me. DO NOT MOVE IN THIS PLACE. We got fooled but you don't have to be. For nearly 3000 a month you get a one bedroom run down apartment with "new" appliances that break we had to replace the dish washer less than 3 months in. The gate is broken all the time allowing shady people in and my girlfriend even had her car broken into. They have shut our water off on numerous occasions with no notification until it's already shut off. The heating these places have is a space heater in the wall from the 70s that heats nothing. Our windows don't even lock and instead of fixing it they gave us metal clips from Home Depot this place is a joke. When it comes to repairs or replacements just expect them to give you the very bare minimum for your exponentially high rent payment. These places don't even come close to what you pay for them and for what you pay here you can get much nicer elsewhere. Getting ahold of property management is impossible once your locked in. We are working on getting out of this lease whatever you do don't get stuck with this nightmare of an apartment. read more

Cops are ALWAYS here, coming in and out of the complex dealing with all the crazy people (i literally watched someone get arrested); it's dirty..your neighbor will let their pets pee and shit all over their patio and they won't clean it up just to attract pests and bugs to your apartment (not to mention the smell of it in the Escondido heat), and LASTLY THEY LOSE YOUR MONEY. My fiancé and I had a balance we needed to pay in our rent and instead of letting us pay through their portal they blocked our bank accounts. At first my fiancé tried to contact them about the issue thinking it was just a misunderstanding and when he told them we were blocked all they did was send him a link to the portal. It's like they didn't even read his email. Then I finally decided to just pay them with a cashiers check. First of all, it took 12 days to even hand them the check because they ALWAYS have the leasing doors locked, there's no drop box outside the office and they send all phone calls to voicemail that says they're "unavailable". After I finally was able to reach them to HAND DELIVER the check to them, they told me everything would be taken care of....WRONG!! They let us know a week later that we have a balance in our account and was threatening late fees for the unpaid portion. Once I told them I already paid it by HAND DELIVERING A CHECK they went radio silent for 4 days and after endless calls and e-mails, they let us know that they have lost the check and that I have to take it up with my bank. This whole situation was SO unprofessional and honestly just a giant waste of time and energy. This really made us question if we want to continue living here. Honestly if i could give 0 stars I would. Also we have had multiple communication issues with the leasing office. My fiancé had a simple question about our lease that he called, emailed, and even texted them about and got zero response. Im going to do the list format style, to make this straight and sweet. 1- Pool was shut down for a month by Health department....(JACUZZI Not maintained and also shut down by Health department.) 2-If you "dont live" in the 2 bed 2 bath APARTMENT area, then you are on what the PROPERTY MANAGEMENT calls "the ghetto". Because they dont really care to do MAINTENANCE on that area. 3-You can not run your microwave and watch tv in the living room at the same time with out popping the fuse...... 4-Location has roaches. They say they do bug treatments, but i have bot had one since I've lived here. (1 year ago today fyi) 5-There is a RESIDENT family member that blast music and threatens some residents if he does not like how they either (Look at him, talk to him, or even if your refuse buys marijuana from him) MANAGEMENT says that they are working on getting him out of the area, but since i live on the "ghetto side", they are really not putting enough effort into it. $1900 for a 2 bed 1 bath after all the things you need, parking utilities. Wish I could give zero stars. Please don't let the greenery and landscaping fool you. It looks pretty, but that's only to cover up the ugliness that is the management company. I moved in a few months before COVID hit, and the problems started immediately. Drains are always clogged, electricity was on and off, the dumpsters are always overflowing with trash falling into the parking lot, I was charged a $50 annual fee for receiving packages because we are not allowed to have them delivered to our doorsteps, even though I have my insulin delivered by mail - they literally withheld my lifesaving medication and said it would be returned to sender if I didn't pay the locker fee. Talk about exploitation. They nickel and dime tenants for parking - when I moved in there was an option to pay $15/mo for uncovered parking or $45 for covered parking. Now they're calling the uncovered spots "premiere" and increasing the cost for those too. If you choose to park on the street, you're not given a gate remote so you have to walk a mile to get inside the only pedestrian gate next to the leasing office. The fitness center is never cleaned. Literally it is impossible for a cleaning person to get inside after hours, the doors lock and NO ONE has a way to get in. I know this because I accidentally left my phone and glucometer inside and called maintenance, they couldn't do anything. We stopped the campus security and they couldn't do anything. During Covid my roommate and I were both working from home, but the electrical problems got worse every day to the point that we were losing power for 30 minutes at a time intermittently throughout the day. Maintenance clearly had no clue what they were doing because they kept coming in to do work that they said would fix it, but the problem persisted. Finally my father who is an actual real life electrician suggested they check the main breaker - lo and behold it had burned up and was destroyed. Why didn't they check that in the first place? Because they are not electricians and don't know what they're doing. Additionally, they will ignore your requests to CALL before knocking on the door. And they will open the door if you don't hear them knocking. And if you have a tree outside your window, rest assured a tree trimmer will be looking in at you on a weekly basis. You can never feel comfortable or safe in your home here. I feel violated in so many ways. Money hungry management that doesn't seem to remember that tenants are human beings, not bags of money. I put up with the BS during Covid because the thought of moving during a pandemic scared the crap out of me. But now I am overjoyed to be leaving. I will say the heated pool is nice. But my new place has one of those too, so good riddance to this place. Btw, every time it was time to renew, they increased our rent by the maximum 10% allowed by law. Hope your income increases that much annually. The only improvement I've seen to the property in my 4 years here was the playground. And I don't have kids, so that did nothing for me. truly not recommending this place to my worst enemy. leasing office is fine but they're just working for satan in the form of air communities. insanely unethical company that only cares about lining it's pockets. extra $130/mo for parking (two spots.) don't be fooled by lower rent. apartments are old and creaky, you can hear everything upstairs. extremely inaccessible entrances, and they don't offer you a gate fob, there is one singular entrance on the entire property and it's in the most inconvenient location. laundry room was "renovated" to undersized machines that they'll of course overcharge for. for some reason they consider smoking to be one of the greater disturbances on the property as opposed to the dogs barking at early hours in the morning, the groundskeepers beginning work at 8am, and the loud music and yelling of neighbors during the late hours of the night! For how many places there are in Escondido you can do soooooo much better for this price. The rent looks lower but you're basically paying 3k. Can't wait to get out of this hellscape. read more

The only reason this is getting a star at all is because Karla is great and the finishings in the apartment are nice. The complex, however, is incredibly mismanaged and living here has been an endless string of inconveniences followed by piss poor remedies. The biggest and most glaring issue by far is the parking situation. There is now NO guest parking in the complex as every spot, covered or uncovered, is paid for. This should be fine only no one is following the new parking rules resulting in someone parking in the your spots 50% of the time. You'd think they would do something to address this but instead they send an email telling everyone they're not going to enforce this, you can no longer file a complaint, and you can't do anything on your own to enforce your spot. (i.e. leave a note on the car). If someone is in your spot, that's too bad for you. Now any guest you have visit you will have to fight for parking along Del Dios Rd or as the leasing office instructs you, to park across the street at Dick's. There's also no way to get through the gates on Del Dios if you don't have a clicker so you either have to walk around the corner to the leasing office, or hop the fence. The apartments are roach infested. They will send the bug guy to come out over and over but none of that fixes the issues. The only seemingly realistic issue short of tearing down the complex all together is to bug bomb and fumigate the entire building. Is that going to happen? Absolutely not. Our neighbors moved out and while they were remodeling the unit, the bug guy came FIVE times. I'll bet $10 there are still roaches in that unit. There is absolutely no "community" here. Now I'm not looking to have bbqs with my neighbors and talk story about how the kids are, but no one can even mutter a polite "hello" or "nice day we're having, huh?". Is this an issue of the complex? Maybe not, but it's worth noting if you're considering moving here. Aside from the community, or lack thereof, you get homeless people wandering through frequently, digging through the dumpsters and sometimes even sleeping in the dumpster rooms. There are many other issues that make this place an absolute nightmare to live at like the 60-day required notice to vacate, the laundry rooms that don't work half the time, the A/C that cuts off after 10 minutes (which maintenance fails to fix), but I'll leave it at that for now. We can't wait to get the hell out of this place. read more

I moved in at the beginning of the year and it has been the perfect transition into San Diego county! Ashley the property manager made the process smooth and was super responsive when I had any questions. After the love in we had no issues and the community is really quiet which is great. Since move in we've only had one maintenance issue which was a light bulb going out but maintenance got there asap when I put in my maintenance request and it was no hassle at all which is nice for a bigger community. Having a Target and Applebees across the street is also a huge plus! read more

We are finally out of this hell hole after more than three years living here!! The list is long of things that happen at this apartments. Dog crap everywhere, loud neighbors, not enough parking spots, laundry room always filthy and washer and dryer machines often broken. On may 5 we lost electricity on half the apartment and they took a freaking day to fix it!!! Me and my husband called them multiple times and they kept saying the maintenance guys would be over shortly,well they did go, 24 hours later!!! And when we complained about this to the office they didn't believe us, yup... oh and if someone parks for 8 hours on your designated parking spot (that you have to pay for) and you call the "wonderful lease office people" they are gonna tell you to call the towing truck yourself and that you have to take care of the bill. many more shitty things happened here but I am so glad that we are out of there and I don't want to look back.
