MY ABSOLUTE FAVE COFFEE PLACE IN VANCOUVER, WA! They're the bomb. I love them. Owners/managers are so sweet and make the best coffee. I love getting their vanilla lattes and the London Fog latte is absolutely amazing too. Their new special is the eggnog latte and it's everything you could ask for this wintry season. Creamy and rich! You just can't stop drinking it. I will keep coming back for their special and I hope you do too because everyone should try it. They have lovely pastries, cakes, and cookies too. Everything is fresh and delicious. I do think their younger female staff need better barista training though because the quality of the drinks is never the same as when the managers make it. I've been there many times and was unhappy with the mediocre coffee or tea latte they made for me. I much prefer it when the managers have made it. Perhaps more training is needed? Other than that, Hidden River is the best place for authentic coffee in Vancouver! It's a hidden gem nestled in downtown Camas. Love it! read more

Nice little coffee roaster place that my family and I happened upon after a mid afternoon hike. Great place to get some work done or read a little with lots of natural light. Love that they roast their own coffee and my drip coffee was good. I like that they have honey for sweetener and they let you prep your coffee independently. It's a small place with a bit of a line, but they served everyone quickly and efficiently. Also looks like they have a window you can walk up to on the outside of the building which keeps up with the efficiency. read more

Locally owned coffee shop makes a nice dark and bitter coffee. They offer add ins like collagen. I always get mine black. They also offer giant cookies and goodies. I haven't tried the food yet but the avocado toast looks good! Service is always kind and knowledgeable. I don't get over this way very often but now that the two toll bridges across the Columbia are getting downright expensive I've started using SR14 to head east again. Was in the mood for a cuppa joe and Yelp directed me to this place. I'm former military and some of us veterans tend to be coffee snobs. Most people seem to think that Starbucks is coffee so I really appreciate it when I come across a genuinely good cup of coffee. That's what I found here. And no disrespect intended but I don't put any of that foofy stuff in my coffee. Black, no sugar..... that's it. In a ceramic mug not a paper cup, ideally. I want to taste the coffee! If I wanted a milkshake I'd go to an ice cream parlor. Staff is great, prices are reasonable. They got me in and out fast. The place is a little small but I usually prefer to enjoy my brew outdoors and away from people so no biggie there. Nothing not to like about this shop or the folks who work there. So before I posted my review I looked once more to see what others had to say.... what is with all of the snowflakes whining about not wearing masks? What does that have to do with the quality of the drinks they serve? Not that it is anyone's business but I am a disabled combat veteran thanks in part to agent orange. On a good day it's a challenge to get wind into my lungs and the last frigging thing I need is one of those muzzles clamped over my face. I acquired this and a couple of other disabilities doing my duty so that all of you crybabies could live in a free country. So our reward is to listen to a lot of complaints and bullying from adolescents over this scamdemic nonsense? Jeez..... you'd never survive boot camp much less a four year enlistment. There is no provision in the US Constitution for suspending our rights and freedoms over some stupid virus. If I can survive a tour and a half in Vietnam I think I can probably survive exposure to this wimpy virus. Posting a one star review based solely on your irrational fear of people being in your general proximity without a mask on is rather cowardly and low class. Just sayin'. If wearing a mask makes you happy then by all means knock yourself out. If you truly believe that masks are the ultimate, impenetrable barrier to this virus that is more deadly than leprosy and ebola combined , it shouldn't matter whether I have one on or not, right? If masks work as well as you think, you're covered..... so get off of everyone else's wire and just enjoy the coffee and being above ground. read more

I ordered the PB and banana toast with chia seeds, it cost $7 so I just assumed i would get 2 slices of toast, and this is all they brought out! So this is a cute little place in an old White House with inside, porch and outside table seating. They have a walk-up window. I absolutely love their coffee and buy their Costa Rica beans for home. Their staff have been nice and helpful to me with discovering what I like as I'm new to the PNW serious coffee scene. They have sandwiches and baked goods that look good but I haven't tried any yet. Staff don't wear masks, and they're not enforced for customers either. Social distancing is also not enforced at all. We had a maskless person cut right in front of us, both she and staff oblivious that my 8 year old and I were hanging back to maintain our six feet. Her friend actually coughed in the open air shortly after. Other Camas businesses have been great about masks and safety. We hardly ever go out to do things like getting coffee since the pandemic started, trying to minimize exposure (I've had covid and it was absolutely miserable, even a mild case is NOTHING like a simple flu). I really like Hidden River's coffee and have been missing it, but I don't think I'll ever be back. If you're immune compromised or unvaccinated, don't go here. read more

Even before the deadly pandemic I was not very fond of this place: I ordered my Americano, looking forward to sitting down and enjoying it and while walking to a table I tripped over A STACK OF BIBLES that a customer put next to them on the floor!!! Heavy suckers too, they did not bulge. I was barely able to keep my coffee from spilling (was that just pure luck?) and kept my balance. Phew! A close call for sure. read more

None of the baristas are wearing masks so I turned around and left. I get that it's a pain to force customers to wear masks because let's face it, there are some stupid and combative people in this world. I've worked customer service as a barista, I get it. I also understand how much it would suck to work behind a bar and have to wear a mask. But get over it. How irresponsible of this business, to allow your customers to go unmasked and then put your *employees* at risk?
