The food is still good, but I didn't feel very welcomed during my last visit. We went on Sunday, and the girl who helped us messed up my matcha order by giving me two 12 oz instead of two 16 oz. When I mentioned it, she just said "oh, okay, give me your drinks," and it felt like she didn't really care. It honestly made me feel like I was bothering her. Same with the one taking our order she was like annoyed. Also! I asked for my presso coffee rewards to be scanned and they did not go through i'm not sure what's happening in their system but i scanned it twice that day once for the breakfast and then later for our 2 matchas as i bought them later and none showed up. What a lovely coffee spot! I enjoyed the clean, modern atmosphere and the barista was very friendly. As for the coffee, we ordered the Iced Tiramisu Latte & Iced Raspberry Cheesecake Latte. Both were sweet and balanced, yummy flavor. As for the food, we ordered the Avocado Toast & Turkey/avocado sandwich. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the sandwich - even caught him saying it was the best he's ever had. The avocado toast was rustic white bread with a layer of ricotta, avocado slices, and finished off with chili oil & lemon and seasonings. Very filling and savory. Originally had been to Presso in Portland and just saw that it closed (insert sad emoji), but was happy to see this location was still open! Friendly and quick service. Such a large variety of fun coffee and matcha drinks, it's hard to choose just one. I ended up getting one of my favorites, the Pink Cloud Matcha (iced matcha with raspberry cold foam and freeze dried raspberries). Incredibly creamy and slightly sweet with a pop of tartness from the freeze dried raspberries. The cold foam is so good I want to just eat it by the spoonful. I have a new fave cafe. Been here twice in the last week and I prefer this over all the well known coffee shops. I have tried a couple seasonal lattes, the tiramisu...OMG! I lived in Japan and miss the matcha drinks but I find most the matchas here to be bitter where in Japan there are multiple matcha profiles. They had an iced mango puree matcha and I would order this again. It had the right amount of sweetness with the mango. The first time I came about a year ago, the service was okay. We finally stopped here and I was very tempted by the biscoff latte. It was really good, you definitely tasted all the biscoff and the coffee was very rich. It was a fairly expensive drink, it was nearly $9 after tax and tip. Definitely a special treat type of drink, will come back again! My pregnant wife and her friend visited this coffee shop at around 2:40 PM, hoping to order food. The kitchen is supposed to close at 3:00 PM, so they arrived well within the operating hours. When they came in, the staff in the kitchen were chatting and laughing for about 10 minutes instead of taking orders. After waiting, they were told that the kitchen was already closed and that no food orders would be accepted, only drinks. My wife explained that they had arrived before closing time and simply had to wait while the staff were busy talking. Despite this, the order was refused. What was even more disappointing is that as they were leaving, the staff were loudly laughing at them. Overall, the experience felt very unprofessional and disrespectful, especially considering the timing and the situation. read more

Presso is so focused on being trendy that they've lost sight of the main things: taste and service. It wasn't busy when I went in and there were 3 employees working but the service was so slow. Only one person was doing all the work while the other two were chatting and texting. I waited over 10 minutes for 1 drink and one turnover to go. Meanwhile, when the turnover came out, I couldn't find a napkin, nor was I offered one. I just sat in the overly-black-and-white space and tried to read the menu (which you can't because tiny black font and shadows make it impossible). The pistachio drink was simply in the acceptable range. I drank it. The turnover had too much jam and made a mess. Thankfully I had napkins in my car as I took it to go. Love this local coffee shop. It's a very brought a welcoming store which I love. The workers there have always been very friendly. I have been obsessed with both tiramisu and cookie butter lattes and this is the ONLY place I can get both! I also love that they started to can and sell their cold foams! The only downfall I would say is the price tag which they don't have on them when you pick it up. She rang up my biscoff cold foam and a small can of vanilla latte it came out to $22. The cold foam alone I think is about $12-13 which is a lot for just a cold foam which is why I didn't give 5 stars. Will I be back for another cold foam? Finally went to try this coffee shop after seeing everywhere online. It's a quaint and cute shop! However they have a drive thru window that they leave open, therefore having multiple flies flying around inside. They also had open trash bins that the flies were attracted to. Service was okay. The barista looked young and they weren't super outgoing. One of them just seemed to stare at us while ordering. I smiled at her and she continued staring. Just very weird interactions. I understand working in customer service can be draining, but to just stare at someone blankly is very awkward. We got 2 drinks (look below at picture), they were both 16oz iced coffees. After a 15% tip the total was $20! So pricey! The worst part was that neither of us liked our drinks. The tiramisu latte had no flavor. While the salted caramel cheesecake latte had a weird aftertaste that seemed to coat your mouth. Such a disappointing experience. I've heard good things about their matcha. It was a Saturday morning and the place was packed. 3 people working at a pretty slow pace for the amount of people patiently waiting for their drinks or food. Waited 20 minutes for a 12oz iced mocha. Finally when they called my name the mocha was hot not iced. I would have had him fix it but I was already 10 minutes late for my nail appt next door.
