They have a wide variety of items from fine jewelry to the most eclectic goods. From the outside you wouldn't expect it to be as large as it is, but it does span through multiple rooms. Many areas/rooms have themes like holiday, clearance, collectibles, household goods. It is very well organized. Store is pretty strict on "no large bag/backpack" policy but all employees were very friendly and respectful carrying it out. This place is not at all overpriced and you can certainly find some affordable gems without looking too hard.

Shopping for a very specific anime gift for a teen friend I knew I went to the right place when Mr. Wayne himself gave me a very detailed tour of his wares. This world today is far more complex than it was back in my Batman and Robin days, so I was very happy to get the assistance. They have every price point and virtually every character. Having been in comics for 40 years, I'm tired of seeing shop owners who lack customer service. I'm…read morean experienced collector and know how to handle comics so I don't appreciate being told I can't open them to check for condition. Even though he was willing to open them for me, I tend to buy dozens at a time and could potentially be at the register for 30 min while he opens them for me. I'm not looking for perfect customer service but there's a way to talk to people. He wasn't rude but had the personality of a rock. I'm in my 50's and don't appreciate being treated like a child. Put up signage if you don't want people to open the books. And how about a break it or buy it policy? Even though I handle the books better than most store owners, if I damage the book while examining it, I'll pay for it. You already got cameras on me so what's the problem. I won't be back. (Replying to the owner's reply: A better response would have been, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience and misunderstanding. I'll take your thoughts into consideration and strive to create a better experience for my customers. I appreciate your visiting my store and I hope that you have a more positive experience if you ever return." Now THAT would win my business.

Clearly at one point it was a record shop (the name gives it away of nothing else), and there's still a case of them in the middle of the room, but it's been subsumed by the mass quantities of toys and memerobilia that are crammed into this small storefront! Got a cartoon, sci fi film or other cult classic that you like? Chances are they have something from it. (I even saw a Danger Mouse figurine...does anyone aside from me remember that show?!) Edge your way through the quagmire of collectibles and take your time looking! The only thing I didn't find that I was seeking? Micro Machines! (Not the Star Wars etc. ones; just the old school mini cars. They did have lots of Hot Wheels though.) This place was pretty crowded on a week-end (read: 5 or 6 customers at once, which given the space was practically overflowing). Worth a stop if you are nearby, or a trip if you are a big collector!

The staff will look up books to buy new for 20% off, too, if they are still in publication. The gentleman behind the desk showed us some special editions of some books. Although we could not buy them, it was really interesting to see. Good selection and genres are well marked so you will be able to find science or science fiction books.
