I have been a customer at Hidden Valley Nails for over a year now. It is run by husband and wife, and the couple are very kind and very efficient. They always do an exceptional job on my nails, and always check to make sure I am happy with the shape and color before completing the job. Their timing is very efficient. If I make an appointment, I rarely ever have to sit and wait for my appointment to start. As a busy mom, I really appreciate the efficiency. They're prices are very fair and I'm always happy with the way my nails look. They rarely break or chip, and the acrylic stays on better than any other nails I've ever had. I really hate to leave such an honest and all over BAD review (I grew up in Middletown and try to support small businesses), but I have never in my life had such a painful fill in my acrylic nails. I came as a walk in because everywhere else didn't have time, my fault. First of all, I understand that at most nail places there is no casual conversation, but the nail technician kept pausing while grinding my natural nail to watch fucking Laverne and Shirley on tv which resulted in my thumb nail being sanded waaaayyyy too damn thin. He probably burned me with the grinder on every finger. He said sorry. I have the disadvantage of being a licensed cosmetologist, so I know what it supposed to come out of a brand new packages. The files were used, and the metal tools used were covered in acrylic dust. The fill was whatever, they're filled. I should have just done it myself. I also had two nail replacements put on that are jacked,but at this point, that's the least of my worries. $23 to get my natural nail destroyed; I didn't even have him paint them. I wanted to leave ASAP. My nails still hurt 9 hours later. read more

This place does the best nails in town. They are very nice. The service is excellent, environment is very clean & the owner does a very good job on my gel manicure. I am picky and he knows just what I like now that I have been there several times now. It's $30 for gel manicure & my nails always look great for 2-3 weeks. So unprofessional! Called in to make an appt for 2 pedicures and when arrived there was no customers. The wife let us pick colors and started our water and instructed us to take our shoes off and sit. The man came around the corner, told his wife to stop and said the appt was only for 1 pedicure. I informed him I said two and he rudely told me no and they don't have time. I will never come back here and they need to learn better customer service!! read more

My acrylic nails used to always lift and I always had to have them repaired. I am tough on my hands and nails. Hidden valley nails does such a good job, I don't know how they do it, but I can go there weeks and they won't even lift. Very happy! read more

Had to give it "one star" or it wouldn't post my review. This nail salon deserves "no stars". He, the owner, cut two different toes on the same foot. He kept insisting on digging out what he thought was a hang nail. After his refusal to heed my request, I got up & left. I also noticed him using an already "used" file. I will report this business to the State Board. read more
