This is a local women-owned business that began as private pop-up events in 2016 by two local best…read morefriends, Courtney and Lauren. Formerly Bay Area FitWear, the store features comfortable, cute, quality workout clothes made in the USA. The owners re-branded to include both wellness and community, but you can still buy items online at bayareafitwear.com. Their newly opened storefront is a small boutique that's full of high-end goodies for the athleisure enthusiast! I love the inspirational messages posted on the right wall of the shop, as well as above the cash wrap. Employees are super nice, friendly, and helpful! Beyond Active carries mainly women's clothing and they do also have a few men's items and children's items. There are also caps, beanies, yoga mats, water bottles, wine glasses, necklaces, scrunchies. The fitting rooms are spacious and the boutique is well heated so that you don't get chilly trying on the tops and bottoms : ) Top notch brands that they feature are: + Alo -- L.A.-based contemporary and modern yoga wear worn by celebrities + Another Love -- Arcadia-based colorful activewear + Beach Riot -- L.A.-based women-founded bold activewear and beachwear + Bryan Anthonys -- Austin-based dainty jewelry named in honor of the female co-founder's brother + DYI -- Houston-based women-founded "Define Your Inspiration" high-performance activewear + Free People Movement -- Santa Monica-based boho-style active wear + Glyder -- Santa Ana-based yoga clothing + K-Deer -- NYC-based women-founded UPF 50+ and H2O friendly Signature Stripes and more workout gear + Nisama Sol -- Las Vegas-based funky yoga wear made from recycled plastic + Nux -- women-owned functional and trendy BodyEngineered® active wear made in the U.S.A. + Onzie -- Venice Beach-based female-owned yoga wear accessible for saltwater, chlorine and heavy sweat environments + Spiritual Gangster -- L.A.-based clothing company that donates proceeds to provide a meal to a person in need for every item sold + Strut This -- L.A.-based and manufactured mother/daughter founded high quality athleisure wear + Vimmia -- L.A.-based and designed lifestyle brand + Vuori -- Encinitas-based men's yoga gear designed by a male yogi

Great options for vegetarians and carnivores alike! The Acai bowls are yummy (some of the better ones in Marin) but I personally love their Bay Bowl (pictured here) because it's the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I order it almost once a week. I was also hooked on their smoothies while I was pregnant! The staff is super friendly and the food is ready quickly. They also offer curbside pickup through the app!! It's a great spot to hang outside when the weather is nice. We bring many friends and visitors here, and they are always impressed. Truly something for everyone on the menu. They offer local deals a few times a month through their newsletter or text!

Their salads and food are so fresh, are made with quality ingredients, and are served in large portions as well! The Eastern Trade Winds salad is my absolute favorite - the dates in this salad add the perfect amount of sweetness! Staff is always kind and attentive. Definitely recommend trying their salads and soft serve! Only downside is that it's kind of pricey (average salad is about $20 and shake is $13ish), but worth it once or twice a week!

It's me again, just seeing the business response so here's my response…read more These business deny their poor work and just defend rather than listen and change poor behavior. 1) Yes, I was seen on a lien because of a head on collision with a car. My lawyers arranged my visits to your office, I didn't choose you. And what if i was seen on a lien? So you're implying that because I didn't pay yet, which my lawyers are handling, I'm doing what? It all leads to more evidence, in your tone and accusation, that you treat those on lien poorly. 2) You didn't even see me Dr. Andrew's. You did the initial assessment then passed me off to a useless chiropractor, Jessica(?) who I repeatedly asked NOT TO SEE. 3) Where is your evidence that I was seen "more than 3 minutes? You didn't treat me! So you're now saying that to defend yourself when you weren't in the room. I was, and that was my experience. Go ahead and defend your shitty office, I'm still reporting my experience. 1 time - 10 mins? 2nd time - 7 min, all session after that less than 5 mins. I'll round up. 4) Your office kept calling and calling to schedule appointments that I didn't want. After 2-3 weeks of ignored called, you finally got the point. I told my lawyers that I did not want to go to your office. 5) My experience was poor and I'm reporting it here. Defend all you want, my experience was still poor and I am using the platform which was made for this, to share my experience. "Very disappointing to see such a LIE from an adult" yea, I know. What do I get out of this negative experience? Nothing but the hope that one person may be spared my experience.
