Are here for lunch and got the Caesar salad and hot ham and cheese, yummmmy!!! The salad was the best I've had in a while. The service was fast and wait time wasn't to bad even with the busy lunch hour. The reason it gets 4 stars and not five are a couple different reasons. First, our server didn't check on us very often so we had to waved down other people to bring us stuff, which was kind of annoying. Secondly, this place was so cold that we didn't want to stay long. That sounds petty but if I'm cold... There's a problem! I'm NEVER cold! My mom and little brother were miserable and had to go outside a few time to warm up. I'll be back tho! read more

Good first- Nice layout and good beer selection. Bad- service was terrible, I walked in and three waiters just stared at me by the "Please Wait to Be Seated" sign until I said I'll sit at the bar where the bartender served a couple who sat down minutes after me. We really enjoyed Hideaway Pizza. We showed up later after a baseball game and asked for seats where we could see the TVs (NCAA basketball games) and were seated in the bar area. Service was great! Our server was fantastic. She was very personable and outgoing with a great sense of humor. The pizza was quite good and the drinks were fine. Apparently, its the only downtown restuarant open and serving alchohol on Sundays. Sat at the bar, had a decent turkey melt sandwhich, and two cocktails. Cute and friendly wait-staff. Probably a good place to watch the game with three giant TVs behind bar. read more

Pizza is always good, but at Hideaway they really do it right. Their crust is amazing, and they have lots of varied and interesting toppings. DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION. Very poor experience at the Bartlesville location. I placed large order and was told 30 minutes. Showed up after 30 minutes. After running back and forth from register to kitchen for 5 minutes, employee told me order hadn't been started and it would be at least 15 minutes. Very disappointed as I couldn't wait. I wouldn't recommend paying by credit card online as I needed refund and manager could only print screen on computer. Still not sure my credit card was credited. Cool local Oklahoma pizza chain. Right in downtown Bartlesville. Had quick prompt service and ordered a 50/50 appetizer and small paradise pizza. Massive portions, the appetizer was a meal in of itself. The fried mushrooms were piping hot and delicious. The pizza had a ton, almost too much cheese, and was weighed down by toppings. Not a minimalist's pizza for sure. Also got a souvenir cup with the sweet tea. All in all, a lot to like. read more

Located in a historic building in downtown Bartlesville, this place was a bit of a surprise. Expecting just pizza, we found a great variety of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and other dishes on the menu. Members of my group ordered sandwiches and pizza - and ALL were top-notch!!! The service was fast (although there was quite a crowd watching one of the U. S. World Cup matches in late afternoon), and the food was great!! The waitress was quite attentive, keeping our beverages 'topped off' and checking to see whether we needed anything. Oh, yes - BE SURE to try their fried mushroom appetizer - but be careful - those rascals are extremely hot when they get to the table!! This is not a complaint - it's a compliment!! In too many places, food is not hot when it arrives at the table, but this is not a problem here at all - for ALL of our hot dishes were piping hot when we got them!! Great pizza, but even better management. I ordered a pizza online on a busy Saturday evening. I showed up at the time it was supposed to be ready and ended up waiting an additional 35 minutes and then my order was wrong. I was so "hangry" by this time I was about to cry! The manager apologized very sincerely, remade my incorrect pizza and refunded the charges for all three pizzas. Hideaway will continue to get my business! read more

Pizza tasted top notch and everything had to be fresh. I was impressed with the sauce with the slightly sweet and bold taste. They had several specialty pizzas on the menu. There was one pizza on the menu that was very unique with different type topping combinations on each slice. If this place had a full bar it would be perfect. However, they had a great beer menu with several microbrews to choose from. I was glad to see another restaurant open in downtown Bartlesville. As a business traveler, one thing that surprised me is the limited restaurant choices downtown. I hope it does very well and promotes new restaurants to open downtown. Stopped for lunch with our 3 small kids. They seated us immediately at a table for 8, which was great (most places try to seat you in a booth made for 4 and put the high chair on the end which is never enough room) Ordered fried pickles, a medium Capone and side salads for us. Pickles came out right away and our server brought crackers out for the littlest one to snack on. Older two kept busy with the coloring/activity books they gave them so we got to eat our appetizer and salads in peace, both were very good. Pizza came out quickly and was delicious. Server was very friendly & attentive. Restaurant itself is in a really beautiful building downtown, very clean and the icing on the cake for this mommy - clean roomy restrooms complete with a step stool for tiny people to reach the sink. This location was so much more family friendly than the location in Stillwater and the food was just as good if not better because we weren't crammed in like sardines and rushed to finish. Will definitely stop here again on our next trip through! read more

My lunch order that came was the wrong pasta item, but I said that's ok and started eating anyway because everyone else in my party got their food and was eating. The manager came over and apologized, gave me $10.00 Hideaway bucks, and also told me that they were re-making my order, so I got it to go. I had also ordered a to-go pizza, so I used the bucks on that. So I got to eat a good lunch, take the remade order of pasta and pizza home, and got $10 off to boot. I was surprised that they did all that, great customer service without me complaining! I will be back! read more

Our family ended up here to try and avoid the crowd at Chick-fil-a. I'm sure every restaurant has its bad days. This was that day for Hideaway and it was sloooooow. The restaurant was not super busy and seemed well staffed, so I'm not quite sure what the issue was. The wait to get in and order wasn't very long. We knew what we wanted so we ordered everything including an appetizer. First, we received the wrong drinks. Getting new drinks took a few minutes, it wasn't immediately fixed as our wait staff dawdled around, even though it wasn't busy. Our appetizer came just fine and was yummy. However, it took another 30 min after the app to get our meal. Then once we got our food an item was forgotten, this time the runner forgot to bring it back even after he indicated he knew it was left off the tray and "would be right back with it." The runner never brought it, the waitress did and it took an additional 10-15 minutes to get the item. As my wife and I ate our sandwiches, yes only sandwiches, we discovered that we had the wrong buns. I ordered wheat, wife had white. I actually had wheat bottom buns and white top buns. My wife had just the reverse. So the kitchen built our sandwiches wrong. No biggie there, but still another issue. All the while, we never received refills after several promises of "be right back with some more tea" until it was with our check at the very end (thank goodness for take home cups). After all was said and done and nearly $60 later, we were there well over an hour for sandwiches on a Saturday afternoon. Next time we will save a few bucks and deal with the crowd at Chick-fil-a. read more

My experience here started out great. Our server name was Katie whom service was really awesome and I highly recommend her to everyone. The bartender was a different story. We were there on Farther's Day between 2:30 pm to 4 pm. I ordered a Long Island Ice Tea which wasn't up to par. It tasted like a lemonade from Chick-fil-a. I don't believe in sending drinks back cause I don't like it. I just ordered something different that I know a bartender can't mess up so I ordered a crown on the rocks for my next drink. Here is where things went downhill: I finished my Long Island really quick just to get it out of the way. The bartender asked me how was it and I replied "it was somewhat ok just on the lemon side" to be polite and that is when I ordered my Crown on the rocks. When he brought my drink I said thank you and he didn't respond. Then my father in law and wife finished their drinks and ordered another round. He brought the drinks and my wife made a joke which we all laughed about including the bartender and my farther in law and wife both said "thank you" and he responded you're welcome. Well later on I ordered another drink and once again I said "thank you" still no response. My wife said I think you pissed him off cause he has not said anything to you since you mentioned how you felt about your first drink. The mistake was don't single me cause I didn't like how you made my first drink. Ask me what I didn't' like about it and say hey I'll make sure to get it right on your next one, or keep your composure and keep your customer happy. I wasn't up set with the drink it was he lost his composure and treated me differently. Cause of what happened we cut our stay short and went to Garfield's where the bartenders were friendlier and made a great Long Island Ice Tea. Like I mentioned in the beginning our server Katie was wonderful but her shift ended and couldn't finish taking care of us. Hopefully this is not how the bartenders of this Hideaway are going to be cause my wife and I are familiar with Hideaway Pizza Restaurants from other locations. read more
