We were rear ended in May and Higgins was an option nearby to take our car to be evaluated. They were very friendly and communicative through each part of the process. It took about a month for the parts and pieces to come in, but the car was fixed pretty quickly! Everyone I interacted with was kind and awesome and I could tell they knew how to do their job well. The car looks like new! The next day we realized the back up camera wasn't working, so I called in and Higgins just told me to bring it in when I could. I waited about 30th minutes, but they fixed it without too many issues. One of the the connections just needed to be clicked back all of the way back in. Customer service after the fact of getting your business is HORRIBLE!! Paint's chipping on my wife's car where the repair was done and don't even ask about the lifetime warranty.. it's doesn't exist.. Took the car back after we noticed chipping and peeling off where the paint and the response was we didn't paint there.. Asked for the pictures of the car before and after repairs were done and the bad attitude lady and she said we lost them.. !!!! ???? WTF?? My wife takes a picture of just about everything.. We provided the before pictures of the damage ( clearly showing where the accident happened) and she still said it wasn't where they painted and repaired it... LMAO.. Joke of a place.. Do yourself a favor and find a different body shop! I brought my car in for repairs on the quarter panel and the attention to detail was terrible. I brought it back to them about five times before deciding they are not going to touch my vehicle anymore. The first issue was the door handle which was left disconnected. Then I noticed a few panels that needed to be realigned, and in the process of fixing those things they ruined my window tint the first time and scratched the window moulding. I took it to a tint shop and they paid to have it fixed. The rear diffuser had paint chipping off from removing it improperly, so I brought that up to them. Immediately they tried to deny fault and I had to wait for them to look at the pictures from before the repair which clearly showed no damage prior to the repairs. Then there was a rattling noise from the area they repaired so they took it apart to diagnose, ruining the tint yet again. They did not inform me and reapplied the tint with plenty of bubbles so I had to get them to pay for it to be redone yet again. The rattle was never fixed and I ended up having to take the interior apart myself to fix it. The communication started off strong but as I had to bring it back it quickly became worse. While I was having them fix more issues they offered me the cheapest rental available and refused to get me something similar to what I was renting initially. Once I decided to stop bringing the car back to them I noticed other issues with their work like subpar paint work and a ton of overspray. Do not trust Higgins with your car if you care about it at all. I know I'm not the only customer who has had issues with them because when I was waiting there someone had to get the manager to discuss an issue they were having that ended up bringing them back to the shop multiple times to try to fix a fog light that they had simply forgotten to put the bulb back in. What a mess and a disgrace to the collision repair industry. read more

First let me start by saying I can't comment on the quality of their work but I can say for certain that their "estimate" appointment is less that considerate. Let me briefly expand. Car was hit on the passenger side door. I noticed the gap between the front fender and hood was knocked out of alignment. I brought that to her attention and she said that it wouldn't be approved because the point of impact was the door. I sternly told her that it wasn't like that before the accident. I wasn't expecting a new hood but she wouldn't even include any amount of work in the estimate. Took my car to Crash Champions and I'm glad I did. They did timely, quality work. read more

TRUCK OWNERS BEWARE. I would not trust this shop to work on anything of mine ever again. I got in a simple rear end accident and had to get my bumper replaced. Not only did they paint my bumper the wrong color, but they also have no quality control. The plastic ends of the bumper were sticking up and clearly did not fit right, they didn't repair scratches on the body that the estimator included in the quote, the spare tire port was not secured at all and pulled out of the bumper when trying to open the tab, they didn't repair damage to my hitch, etc. For a simple bumper replacement, this is the worst work I could've imagined. The worst part was how we were treated. When I went back to the shop to point out all the issues, Carrie the estimator, argued with me that the bumper was the color of the body instead of black (it was clearly black) and told me she doesn't understand why it's such a big deal. This didn't sit well with me being that it's a $50K truck that looks like they had a bunch of little kids work on. I got the supervisor Bryce involved and he was able to make most of the issues right in the end, except I'm still having issues with my park assist not working properly so there is still clearly a sensor issue that they didn't address. This was a very rough experience. I will say the ladies up front and the supervisor were very helpful and kind, but the estimator is a problem and should not be dealing directly with customers. I've dealt with other shops before and had pleasant experiences, but I will NEVER let this shop work on anything of mine ever again. read more

Had someone side swipe me and damage my entire left front side. After contacting insurance and picking this place because it was closest to me, I admit I had no idea what to expect as I had never used this place. I had not gotten in an accident before this, Higgins kept us updated on scheduled appointments, and gave us an estimated timeline of when our vehicle would be done. They finished before that estimated date! They were always kind and friendly in their service, willing to work with you and understanding of your situation! The work afterwards on our vehicle was spectacular! You can't even tell I got side swiped and I am so happy with the results! I would definitely come back here in the future and would trust them and only them for sure! read more

Higgins Body & Paint has done a few things for our company and one of our managers. We were so impressed with the quality and service that we have been referring them to our customers for quite some time. I was impressed when I arrived for my appraisal appointment, so I scheduled a time to do an insurance repair & fix some problems that I would pay for personally. When I arrived home, I realized that they did not repair everything that was on the estimate that I approved. I also noticed that they had overcharged me 1 1/2 hours of labor for the one thing on the estimate that they did repair. I emailed Bryce, the manager, with my concerns. No response. Called & talked to Melanie, she just kept repeating that she had "saved me money" when I asked why they didn't do all the repairs. I don't quite understand the logic of that answer. Said she would look into the 1 1/2 hour overcharge and call me back. Still waiting for the call. We no longer recommend Higgins Body & Paint to our customers. You might want to think twice before doing business with them also. I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star because of the owner. Mr. Gerald Higgins called and apologized for his employees "dropping the ball", as he put it. He also mailed a refund check for the labor that Melanie had overcharged me. Came back out of a driveway not angled, clipped my bumper and popped it off on the sides and underneath. Dealership quoted around $650. Higgins had me in and out under an hour, no appointment, for a whopping $91 I've brought vehicles here before, and referred family here as well. Their fair, nice, timely. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Our insurance company recommended this place to fix our daughters car after she slide on ice and hit a tree. From the moment I called to have them pick the car up, we had nothing but great service. I'm a tow truck driver, I was sent to pick up a vehicle that your technicians couldn't fix. I had a flatbed to pick up a truck and at the company I work for I have to take pictures before it's loaded, after it's loaded, and after it's dropped off. It wasn't my choice or place where you and your workers placed the vehicle to be able to tow. I had to block your place for a short amount of time. Multiple technicians squeezed between my truck and the curb and hopped it with me strapping it down. Second off a short burly bearded tech tried going the other way with his "power joke" after I strapped it and started to take pictures he got out of his truck and started yelling at me about get off my damn phone and get out of his way blah blah blah. Sorry I have to take pictures for my job! I have to document everything! And you wanna go screaming and yelling about blocking your way and I'm a piece of shit. I won't ever recommend your company and sorry I'm a known tow operator, I will have all the company's I know take you off there recommendation list when a Customer asks for a place to tow after an accident. She told my daughter they will melt my bumper to repair it. My daughter called my husband who spoke with the girl doing the estimate, he told he we want a new bumper ( melted bumper technique is less expensive but will crack over time) she told him that's all the insurance will pay for. He told her no, we want a new bumper. She gave the phone back to my daughter and rudely walked away. You lost our business! We took it to Gus Paulos who we have had amazing service and repairs on other vehicles. They are giving us a new bumper! We will not do business with unprofessional people or businesses. From the lovely ladies at the front desk, to the estimator, the manager, and the technicians are superior to anything I have ever come across in my 65 years. Once your vehicle is fully restored they will actually wash it and dry it and deliver it to you in a way that you will not be able to tell that someone has been in and out of your car nor will you be able to tell that your vehicle had been damaged. I have had them work on several vehicles and I have highly recommended them to dozens of my friends and I have never, never heard anyone who is dissatisfied with their work or quality. I limped the car to Higgins Auto Body that night, being one of the closest to where I live. That monday morning, I received a call, and they had already started the estimate process. Even better, Higgins was a "preferred" shop with my insurance, and I only had to leave my rental at the shop when I picked up my car about 10 days later. I had a downright miserable experience at Higgins. I have been in a handful of situations where the services of a body and paint shop were needed and have to say that out of the half dozen shops I have used in the past, Higgins is far and away the worst! I was pressured by the insurance company to use them because they were "preferred". I went against my gut feeling and agreed. My car was in their hands for 5 full days. Not once did I receive a call, text, email or pictures with any updates, problems, progress etc. I attempted to contact them several times and only got transferred to voicemail. Communication is not their strong suit. My wife picked up the car when it was done. When she walked in, she was told to go wait outside and a tech will bring it out. She sat out there for 10min waiting. When it was finally brought around, the kid got out and left. Not an explanation of the policy, not a review of the work completed or even a thank you. When we got home and attempted to start the car again we found that the ignition column had been damaged to the point of needing a replacement, interior pieces were missing, the door panel was damaged, the gas cap door was bent so badlt that it wouldnt open. Which, oddly enough, was the same area that was supposedly "fixed". They also left plastic covers on underbody unattached and hanging down. When I called to address these problems I was essentially told that I was out of luck. Unsatisfied with their unwillingness to take accountability for their blatant dismal work, I had to get the insurance company involved in order to rectify these problems. Higgins body shop proved through their actions, work and words that they cannot be trusted to restore your vehicle. They lack professionalism and customer service is non existent. There are a lot of shops in this valley that go above and beyond to take care of their customers. Higgins is not one of them. read more

I was in an accident on the freeway in my 32-day old, band new, right off the lot, car. A truck dropped a load of metal and multiple cars were involved. I was given several body shops options by the insurance company and started doing my research. I ended up with Higgins and I was thrilled when I walked in. The waiting room and lobby were inviting and so clean. I was treated as an equal and all of my questions were answered. I really liked the fact that my contact person stayed the same through the entire process. David W. was wonderful! He was so patient with me. Horrible! Do not take your vehicle here! I was rear ended back in May. I have had to take my vehicle back twice now and needs to be taken back again because of their poor quality of work. I called to see if they would fix their crappy job and was basically told they had no way of telling if this was due to the car accident. Mind you this is the same issues I've had since the accident. I work full time Monday through Friday, I don't have time to deal with this other than the weekend. Unfortunately this place isn't open on the weekend making it even harder to deal with them. The first time this repair was done it was obvious within 5 minutes of picking up my vehicle that the repairs were not done correctly. Had someone actually paid attention they would have noticed this right away. I had to take it back the next day. I was then put in an awful rental for almost 2 weeks. I had hope it was fixed this time. Unfortunately I continue to have issues. I took it to my dealership to see if maybe part of this would be covered by warranty but was told because of the damage from the accident the warranty would be void. So here I am with a newer vehicle that should have been repaired months ago and no one wanting to do their job. Time to get my attorney involved. We brought my car in after a fender bender. When we picked up my car from Higgins, they had to jump it because the battery had gone dead. They said the dead battery had nothing to do with the accident, but I don't really believe in coincidences. I would have been fine to pay for a new battery, but they were rude and unwilling to replace the battery. When we tried to say something about it, they just dodged the questions and ignored us. My father started getting upset with them for the poor customer service and they just walked away. Their work was fine, but they don't understand the most important factor in business: good customer service. I WILL NEVER TAKE A CAR HERE AGAIN! read more

I received the worst service from this place, the appraisal process was easy and they were nice to do that. I took my Dodge Ram 2500 in to be repaired I had to take it in 3 different times for them to get it right. The first time I went to pick my truck up the paint job was way off and had scratches all over (way bad paint job). I was finally able to pick it up again after 4 days, the battery was dead I had to wait 15 more minutes for someone to jump it. Once home I noticed a huge scratch down the side of my tire into my rim, I called the shop and they were immediately denying it without even seeing it even though it was the same side and area that was being worked on. Once back at the shop they were very rude saying was not their fault even though my truck did not leave their shop for 3 weeks! They looked up the pictures from the appraisal and sure enough the extreme tire and rim damage was not in photos so they had to replace it, I did not get an apology just attitude. Once the parts came in I was advised that it would take 20 mins to repair but I was there for an hr and half and was treated rude, I could tell they were putting me very last. Higgins Auto Body and Paint has no pride in their work or customer service especially if they make a mistake. I would rate this business a negative 5. read more
