The place we were staying told us about Ben and Golden Eagle and we planned to give him a call when we saw him at the RV PARK. He was the the nicest guy, super helpful, didn't even charge us to look at our trailer the initial time since he was already there and it only took a couple minutes! WOW!! Talk about scoring points or stars in this case! He was able to order parts and we just had to wait Ben kept us informed the entire time about the order going the back-order when the parts arrived. Then Ben worked around our schedule he was very professional and kept a very clean work area even in the middle of Thunder storms. We would highly recommend Golden Eagle.

Kitchen kit was a joke. Dirty dishes and pots and pans. Heater didn't work. My husband is very mechanically inclined and fixes most things in our house himself. He spent several hours on the phone with "technical support" and could not get heater to work. Tanya's response was "Is it even cold enough to need heather?" The dog's water froze outside over night!!! We were told we could get a $200 refund. We did not. When we got there she and another guy came over and got heater to work. So therefore we weren't entitled to $200 refund! It didn't work when we were camping and my husband wasted 1/2 day on phone with their "support" and couldn't get it running. An overall terrible experience! Would NEVER use them again and would advise others to avoid them at all costs!

I told them I needed it one ready to use with water. They stated that they turned all of the valves so it can be utilized after I asked, but also told me to put antifreeze in the freshwater to keep it from freezing. They want me to poison my water. I did not do that, but when I got to my campsite, deep in the mountains outside of cell service, the water service would not work. I followed the manual directions to a T. Friends that were with me with their own RVs could not figure out why it would not work. I had no water to use the facilities or wash dishes, so therefore, I was unable to cook. Upon return of the vehicle, the local establishment told I should have called travelers assistance. I told them I had no cell service where I was and would have had to pack everything up to drive 20 miles for service. They said they would waive a 'winterization' charge but would not provide further credit. The only thing the corporate office would do is give me a $75 credit. I refused this and have now engaged my credit card company. I would not recommend this organization due to their poor customer service. They do not have phone number for customer service and all inquiries must be done through a customer relations email address.

They sent me an email saying that the truck I was going to rent was down for repairs. So I had to drive all the way up to the Woodman store, which is an extra 20 miles from me round-trip. So I get up to the Woodman won. The guy who was helping me bought halfway through. Help me he'd start helping somebody else. Didn't explain anything. I get the truck and take off towards home and the guy I'm with. I say. You know what? I don't believe in them. My truck was the one at the fountain store was down for repairs. So I stopped in there and I asked the lady because the truck was there. She said oh no, it's ready to go. It just had a flat tire and we changed that early this morning. She tried to rent me the same truck that they told me that I couldn't get that. I had to drive extra mileage. This. Is how U-haul operates? They make you drive extra miles to pay for those extra miles then I get home and there's a lock on the trailer hitch pin and then I call them and they tell me all the reason for that lock is so people won't halt heavier things and damage the truck. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard so I called the Woodman store and told him I'm gonna cut the lock off. Cause I can't even ruin our whole camping trip. He said no. And if you don't bring that truck up back to this store we're gonna charge you triple the amount when I call corporate, they didn't give it. S*** about anything. Don't waste your time with you hall. They're ripping people off left and right. I took the truck back and canceled my whole camping trip, everybody that came in from Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico had to go without us. This is our yearly camera trip. Thanks you hall, you just ruined our candy trip for the second year in a row, you did the same c*** last year.

I was afraid that this was going to be the case at any other place. I had a reservation and got a text to pick up the trailer at this location at 8 am. I called the night before and asked if I could come in later, 2 hours to pick up the trailer since I was traveling and wouldn't make it before hand. They were understanding and said I could come in later. I arrived and the process to check out was seamless. Slight issue with hitching the trailer with the truck because the lights of the trailer weren't working but they re-wired (?), well I don't know exactly what they did, but it worked. The bathroom was clean and there was even a water bottle dispenser to fill up my hydro flask. Staff was all great, but special shout out to Caleb for processing our checkout process. If you need U-hual services in Colorado Springs, this is the place to go to, look no further.
