His style is very photo-journalistic and much less about posing you for a million shots in positions you would never actually sit or stand in. I have so many photos from my wedding that take both my husband and I back to the exact moment and emotion. Porter is also what we like to call a "photographer ninja", he was everywhere at all times but most of the time you didn't feel his presence which is why people look so natural in their photos. The front nine was rather short from the forward tees so I eked out a few pars. Water plays a factor in a few holes. Not much for sand and there were a few rolling hills. Tee boxes were in bad shape but the greens were very nice. Back nine was hillier and more challenging with narrower fairways and more water challenges. Staff checking us in was friendly and helpful. The area is beautiful. The bike trail is near so we heard a few riders zooming past. We played fast. Our first 18 holes took about 3 hours. We bopped over to hole two after finishing 18 and played 6 more of the front nine until we caught up to a foursome. Beautiful day on the course.

Al worked with us several months before the reception to iron out details and get to know us over cocktails. His outgoing personality eased my concerns and I almost instantly felt comfortable giving him the reins on our dance party. Al is equipped with all the music and lighting you would need to enhance your dance floor (ours was in our garage as we had a backyard reception). On the day of, Al went above and beyond to help us keep to our timeline. He checked in with us and our families as we were busy mingling with guests, but in a way that was not intrusive. When my dessert donuts didn't fit the pegs on my MOH's donut wall, Al stepped right in to help us organize donut boxes. We didn't ask him to do this, it was simply out of the kindness of his heart. I would have Alan DJ our event again in a heartbeat. I was so impressed with how he continually kept the energy up on our dance floor (my legs were jello the next day!) and our guests expressed similar sentiments. You won't be sorry!

My 3 year old grandson was totally charmed by Sarah and cooperated with her during the photo shoot, which was a miracle. She offered lots of options for finished prints and photo collages/portraits (on canvas, metal, various frames, etc.) and she was super helpful in assisting family members to make good choices for walls as well as for horizontal surface display. She was very responsive and communicative throughout the entire process. She was not pushy or overbearing in any way, however her experienced advice was very important from start to finish. I highly recommend her photographic services.

The grass is impeccable, like walking on a fancy gulf course. I have never seen bathrooms so immaculately clean, seriously they must clean them every 15 minutes. I met the Workers and they went out of their way to ask if we needed anything. Very kind and very knowledgeable about places around Lanesboro. We have Reservations for later in the summer. I CANNOT WAIT!! If you want a beautiful location to have some good ole family fun, head to Eagle Cliff Campground.

Park is clean and well kept. Security and customer service was a bit lacking. A group near our site…read morewas partying late with loud language and excessive drinking. A man attempted to enter a neighboring family's tent after 1am and ultimately found his way back to his tent and puked inside of. The group was not asked to leave, they were back drinking by 10am the next morning with no consequence. While the camp staff insists that security went to the site multiple times it was hard to believe. When we attempted to discuss the matter with the camp staff and were scolded for lodging the complaint "because some people don't listen and what are we supposed to do." This was an extreme case of bad behavior but it felt as though they were unapologetically catering to the party market versus the family market. Camp hosts were prompt and helpful. I probably won't come back with tents due to the tubing/party crowd. It was fine as an rv park.

This is a really nice and small campground. It is in a great location, a little bit out of…read morelanesboro and right on the river and bike trails. The bike trails stretch for miles in either direction, taking you to other towns and locations such as the Old Barn camp ground. They have a good sized playground, swings, basketball, and volleyball cour and a Pavillion. Another great thing to do is tube or go down the river, you can start in town at the falls and take a 45 minute to an hour long ride back to the campground. On holidays they will have celebrations and parties like for the 4th of July they had duck races, a dance and bingo. Its a great spot, so give it a try!
