I had an emergency roof situation where a huge tornado-like window caused my over 100lb chimney cap to blow off. Unfortunately for me, I live in a rowhouse in Boston where I literally do not have any roof access at all, let alone the reach to adjust and fix a chimney cap that is an extra 30 feet high away from the nearest sky light. I could see the damage but I certainly couldn't reach it. And to be clear, this is not the type of roof that is eagerly serviced by many due to the height, difficult access and complexity. I emailed out to 15 different yelp roofers, of the few that responded with an ability to service (or at least look), only WRC roofing was understanding of the situation and agreed to act as quickly as possible. Even though it happened mid-afternoon and they were far away, they were willing to come asap and arrived within the hour to assess the situation. We discussed and agreed on an action plan. Will really took the time to explain everything and truly look at the issue without being dismissive or patronizing. He is friendly and super approachable and the consummate professional. His and his wife's entire calm and patient demeanor put me at ease that they both knew what they were doing and were empathetic to our panic at the entire situation. Due to insurance reasons, I could only hire him initially for emergency services to quickly patch and prevent more harm/damage while the insurance adjuster was being assigned to my claim and performed their assessment. He went to prepare right away, we got a quote pretty quickly and accepted his help. The weather kept him from actually doing any work that same day (started raining and lightning) so he offered to comeback the next day to fix the issue. He arrived on time with all his equipment. He was respectful of the entire property he was in and working on. He talk through all the safety precautions he would take without any hesitation when I asked him, demonstrating his experience and knowledge of these types of roofs (think steep slope and slippery slate). The patch repairs looked clean and presentable even though it was just meant to be temporary. I thought they charged a fair price/hour for the emergency service as well as for the transport. I never felt bullied, pushed over, or upsold on anything. He gave us copies of his workman's comp and insurance prior to starting. He communicated so well throughout the ENTIRE experience. His team was quick to provide contracts and invoices. He took lots of pictures throughout his work and sent them to me afterwards. He even went above and beyond his responsibilities because while he was up there, helped me get rid of a piece of slate in my gutter I just happened to mention off hand that was bothering me when we assess the roof. He just offered and did it! As for the actual repair, he fixed some areas of broken slate shingles, put a nice new metal cap on top of the (out of use) chimney, and installed a brand new copper gutter for me. The metal cap was secured fully with bolts and it looked extremely neat and tidy. He took plenty of before and after photographs for me so I could see the progress and the changes. This was important to me so that I could follow along. Along that line, his communication was just superb. He was immensely polite and professional. He made sure to notify me when he was on the way and also at the end of the day when he was done. He updated me frequently on progress and next steps and he listened to my concerns and we had a discussion about the roof repair instead of him just doing whatever he wanted. My only critique was that overall, it took him longer than he originally stated. However, he did a fantastic job and everything looked really nicely done. I am extremely happy with the outcome. I wholeheartedly recommend him to others and would be thrilled to see his business grow.

It was a difficult job - all flat, but consisting of eight different mini-roofs. On Thanksgiving weekend, I heard water coming into my house. When I walked into the living room I saw the ceiling had broken through and water was pouring in, onto the furniture and flooding the floor. I called both of the owners and within less than an hour, Eli was at my house and on the roof. It turned out it was not the roof, but the original drains that had been poorly designed by the architect. Eli temporarily stopped the water, called one of his crew members to come clean up the mess in the living room, and another crew member to try to clear the drain. When the drain couldn't be cleared, both Eli and Igal personally came back at 7 am the next morning to attempt once more to clear the drain. When they still couldn't, they closed the drain and, with a large crew and several trucks came back again to create a new drainage system. Legally, this was not their responsibility. However, they went out of their way to solve my problem and make me happy. Again, this was on a holiday weekend. I don't know what other company would respond in this way. I HIGHLY recommend them. Their caring and integrity are unmatched.

I needed a spot repair on a carport roof, with similar location and dimensions as the review posted here by Mersh C. in 2017. Major roofing companies wanted to charge up to $12,500 to replace the entire roof. Once I stopped laughing, I contacted Jorge. He responded quickly through the Yelp system and drove nearly an hour south from his home base. I appreciated the detailed evaluation with a reasonable tag of $975. I also was impressed that he didn't push extras on me. My mechanic calls those the dreaded add-ons. In fact, I thought I needed tile replacement on my main roof but Jorge emphasized that it wasn't necessary...merely cosmetic. After Hurricane Dorian thoughtfully bypassed the area, Bani and Evan comprised the work crew. They clearly enjoyed their job and talked me through the process, while saying they do projects for Jorge stretching from Homestead to Port St. Lucie. Many companies here in Miami have owners who speak perfect English but then the work crew speaks little to no English. That can be problematic, if unexpected little matters need attention but with a language gap. Often I have to summon my neighbor to translate. I loved that it was not a difficulty here. Bani is from Mexico but told me he quickly realized a need to become bilingual for this profession. They did a great job. Check the accompanying before and after photos. Along with the spot fix they also flashed the siding to help with my drainage situation. Once the roof was mended I had new gutters installed the next day. Thank you Jorge, Bani and Evan. I contact this company after reading the good reviews and I was really glad I did. After working with some many bad people this was a really refreshing experience. They were quick to respond to my email. Jorge made an appointment to come and see my roof. He confirmed with me on the day of the appointment and when he got here he gave me a full explanation of the work needed and a written estimate. After 2 days, his guys came in and did a great job. They took pictures and made sure that everything was left clean. BTW, I thought the price was fair; there may be cheaper "handyman" out there but I would definitely call High Level Handyman if I need another repair. read more
