I came here for the first time with a friend on a Sunday morning. I love the whole vibe here. There's a fireplace when you walk in (it's actually really hot so if you run hot, be warned). They have a nice display of food and pastries on the left, and the menu up above the counter. There's plenty of seating for working or chatting. Service was polite and quick. I got a whole milk decaf latte; it was tasty! They have a lot of seasonal and holiday drink options listed, if you're into that sort of thing. After reading all the great reviews, I was excited to stop in for a good latte... but unfortunately it just didn't meet my expectations. I went through the drive-thru and didn't have time to go inside since I was heading back on the road, but I wish I had. The latte tasted pretty unflavorful -- the milk seemed a bit off and the caramel had more of an artificial taste. I couldn't finish it and ended up heading to Starbucks instead. So happy I tried high pointe coffee. They made the best cold pressed pumpkin pie iced coffee. It was so flavorful. Also tried their croissant ham and Swiss sandwich and a slice of carrot cake. So good, I didn't catch photos this time. Trust me when I say...."get the carrot cake". read more

Pretty neat place. Reminded me of a coffee shop back home. Staff was friendly. They have a lot of local art you can buy. I got a marble mocha and was good. Tasted like a normal one to me. So I'll have to try a white mocha and mocha to tell the difference. My husband got a pumpkin pie latte. He said he wished it was foamier haha. I tasted it and to me was good but tasted smilier to mine. Except more spices. The sell Costco muffins! Score if you don't want to by 12 but are craving one. I enjoy studying here for a few hours on Sundays. It can get a little loud and is definitely more geared towards catching up with people or having a mini meeting over a coffee and pastry. There's only a few outlets but the beauty is an office space you can reserve for study sessions! I haven't actually used that space but I plan to book it soon! Their coffee is my favorite around, and they make a delicious Cafe Misto! It's half drip coffee, half steamed milk. I've tried this same coffee at other coffee shops and it's always watered down, but here it's actually pretty rich. Their lattes are also very good, and their mocha variations are excellent. I have had good times here just chatting with a friend or spending time on a date with my SO. The staff is always super friendly and helpful- I can't recommend High Point enough. read more

This coffee shop is phenomenal! 1. CUSTOMER SERVICE. Whoever was working 3/15/2025 8:30pm West Jordan Branch both of them were so kind to accommodate my questions. The barista in the counter did not know how to answer my very specific questions(which is understandable because I know my coffee very well) about beans and instead of simply rejecting me like you would expect on other coffee shops, she went extra mile to ask another co worker to help me out. The other co-worker was not able to identify the prebagged roast by dates so she even offered to sell what they use in their machines which has all the requirements I have for my beans. They 5lb bags but offered to sell me by the pound. She had to ask the manager through phone too while I look around Oh gosh I'm in love as a first time customer. She got my number and said they'll register me to get points. 2. COFFEE BEANS. Oh the freshest I could get in this city!!! I got the espresso Milano roasted 2/17. I am very particular for my beans and I know my stuff since I grind and extract my own at home for fresh brews. The beans were easy to dial in my machine and taste soooooo good...I cant stop smelling the beans in my car while driving home! You can see how shiny it is still. 3. COZY PLACE. There was someone performing while I wait for the barista to weigh my beans. I looked around and they got people sitting by the fireplace while listening to music. Another great coffee shop to break the monotony of working from home. They have a vast selection of drinks with quite a few specialty drinks including iced and frozen options. There's plenty of seating and even a private room for large groups and strong wifi. During the winter there's a fireplace in the middle of the cafe that keeps it nice and cozy. Another plus, is the ample parking. What sets this place apart from other places I've been to is how friendly the baristas are. In the few hours I was there, I noticed a bunch of regulars coming in and the baristas addressing them by name and truly having a familiarity with each person. The exchanges sounded genuine and I'm sure each person left with a bit more warmth in their heart as a result. It's rare to see that when most people in the service industry seem to prefer to be anywhere else but working. It could just be one particular barista but it was enough to make me notice! How many times have I driven by High Point and made a mental note to check them out? More than I can count. So it was a good thing that my bestie suggested that we meet up for coffee here this morning! At 7am on a Saturday, they are not very crowded. But give it 30 minutes and the place is hopping! The vibe here is terrific, and there are plenty of different seating areas-tables in corners, cozy chairs near a fireplace and even a small boardroom to hold meetings in. We learned that they have open mic night Saturday nights and you can browse local artwork (and purchase it too!) from the walls of the shop. It's a great location, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are eager to assist and make you the best drink you've ever had. In addition to coffee, they have other non-caffeinated bevvies and a decent selection of pastries that looked good, but we didn't ty them this time-leave something to come back for. I skip 3 of the biggest franchises to come here.. but I do enjoy other places too, but I really like how the coffee tastes for sure I cannot give it 5 stars due to a really off day 1-7-2023 noonish.. ordered a white lightning which is great.. but not that day.. very very bitter and sour, I thought the coffee was burnt but when I smelled it sooo sour.. milk/beans were way off dumped my 20oz.. Been here a couple times and each time was pleasant. I ordered a White Mocha and it was good. Kept me awake for the remainder of my meeting ;) The savory croissants, yogurt cups and bagels are good to accompany your drink. The establishment is clean and has plenty of seating for your group. There's a meeting room you and your party can book ahead of time and it holds 6-8 people comfortably. We used that room and it was good enough for our needs, especially the table for our notes. But, ever since they had a leak in the roof and never bothered to fix the tiles the air is really bad and I never come here any longer. Same with some of my friends. They say the same thing. I first reviewed High Point six or seven years ago and gave it high marks. I'm happy to report that the quality and service and atmosphere has not suffered at all but remains fantastic. The whole family agrees - every year around Christmas the kids and I do a "hot chocolate safari". For three years running we have judged High Point copy to be the best hot chocolate in Salt Lake City. :-) This is a great place run by great people with great attitudes and we're really glad they're still around and still doing so great read more
