First time trying Thirst. Ok the Beignets are beyond incredible. I hade mine with powdered sugar and it was like eating a big sweet soft and sweet cloud. My husband had the Maple covered ones and they were gone in seconds. We went all the way to Solvang CA. To have beignets in a famous Danish restaurant and now I just have to go down the street for them. Thirsts are better too. I ordered Pretzel Bites but I'm too full but they smell and look delicious. They give you a little bag of popcorn while you wait. It's drive through only. We also ordered one of their drinks with Mtn Dew lime and pomegranate juice. Soooo good . The service was great and we got through pretty fast. I can't wait to go back and I'm so glad I think that they are close to me. read more

This soda shop is a bit of a drive for me and I have only been when I was in the area or when I had purchased a fundraiser card. I did feel like the fundraiser card was for sure worth what I paid. I feel like the pricing for the named drinks could be clearer instead of trying to calculate it up per flavoring or creamer. Outside of the fundraising card I have been caught off guard by my total cost at the pickup window on more than one occasion. I liked the mozzarella pretzel just fine, but it wasn't life changing. I need to try the pizza pretzel bites sometime, they look promising. The Scotcharoo is very good, and the Beignets when they are fresh and fun. I have LOVED thirst, for years. But the past several times I've gone, the service has been subpar. I'm fine with the higher prices because they have the best snacks. But lately the quality just hasn't been great. I went today and was told it would be a ten minute wait for a pretzel dog. I declined. There was only one car in front of me and I ended up waiting 15 min anyway. That's way too long to wait for "fast food" and soda. The girls were rude. I ordered 2 of the same drink. One came without cream. When I went to ask for cream she already knew the problem - which implies they are just trying to cut corners. I hate to say it, but I don't plan to return. Definitely one of the best soda shops in Utah! They have some really good flavors for my soda drinking husband and good water options for me since I don't drink soda. I ordered the Abby with flat water and it was really good. I enjoyed the coconut cream in it as it added nice flavor that wasn't overly strong or sweet. Once it sat for awhile too, it was really yummy! Their pretzels and cheese dip is amazing. I would come back just for that! The pretzels are soft, buttery, and just really good! The cheese sauce is served warm. Their scotcharoo is definitely one of the best I've had from a sofa shop as well. The service is good too! Not to mention, they provide you with complimentary popcorn with your order. It's warm and fresh! You can't go wrong with popcorn! Definitely worth the drive and will be back soon. I love thirst drinks, their selection, their vibe, and their treats are so fun and innovative. However; this location is one of the slowest drive thru's I have ever been to... I have given them SO many chances to redeem this review before I posted it. But with 3-5 cars in front of me, there is absolutely NO reason it should take 30+ minutes to get through a drive through. No wonder the lines are always long, it takes five-ever to get through. There are pop shops closer to me, and unfortunately I think I'll move my weekend pop stops to one of them. read more

I noticed this place gets a long line every time I drive home from work, so why not check the place out? I was lucky enough to encounter a small line on a Friday evening, it's always the afternoons that gets busy. Normally people order through the window, but there was a cashier standing outside so I parked next to her and ordered through what I want. The biggest turn off was that the menu wasn't in front of me so I have to memorize it. I'm thankful that there were already Yelp reviews that included the menu pictures. I ordered Hissy Fit, pretzel bites w Parmesan and free popcorn! I had to share the hissy fit with someone but I love the flavors in it. The pretzel bites weren't too sweet and the popcorn is just like an average popcorn. It's really cheap compared to buying snacks and drinks in the movie theaters. This isn't a place where you can order for dinner. I mostly see this as a snack place or something that you would go to the movies. I do recommend buying in this place if you plan to have a movie date night. Plus, in the menu, it did say mommy and me. I would go here if I were going to a drive-in movie, definitely recommend 10/10. read more

Here in Utah, there are two things that people love: soda and ice cream. I was excited to try this place, even though I don't drink a lot of soda. There were a few options on the menu for folks like me-I had the spa water which had REAL berries and cucumber in it. Delicious! My wife ordered the Death Star and I really liked it too! One thing that Thirst does differently than it's competitors is they sell more than just flavored soda and cookies. They have pretzel bites, cheesy pretzel dogs, beignets, and OF course, cookies. (Cutler's cookies, to be exact.) This is sure to be a popular spot! While we were there, we saw that the line of cars went out onto the road a ways. They moved as quickly as possible, however. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Awesome drive thru experience. I really appreciate how quickly they keep the line moving at this VERY popular spot. Thirst is hands down - THE best soda shop in Utah. I am reviewing this particular location because it is my home location, but I have been to every location between West Jordan and Saint George. Thirst has the best soda fountain ever. It is crisp and fresh. That burning of a fresh fountain soda is perfect at Thirst. Their mixes are delicious and there are literally limitless combinations. Their treats are hands down the best. Other stores have hard and crunchy pretzel bites with mid cheese. The thirst pretzel bites are the best ones. The other treats are baked at their own bakery. The sugar cookie is my absolute favorite since they re did it to the sprinkle cookie with orange and white sprinkles. The beignets are like fluffy, soft donuts with a crisp exterior. Delicious. I don't know of anywhere else to get something like that in Utah. Their marketing is the best of all of the soda shops. I love their loyalty program and all of their cute merch. I LOVE Thirst. I've always loved thirst even through some of the issues but this location was Extremely slow service (25 min for 3-4 cars ahead of me ) , asked for a refill was charged full price because I didn't have a thirst cup even though I use my normal cup all the time and can't afford a thirst cup right now and said okay to the non discounted refill and asked if it could still be put in my other cup . When I asked the woman at the second window she was extremely rude and had attitude and rudely said no, shut the window on me , and said take that up with the owner .will not be returning to expensive to be treated poorly by employees I was already having a hard day and it just turned that much worse after visiting here read more

Summary: I would 100% come back for the beignets and pretzels. Drinks did not impress. I'm torn because the fresh beignets were AMAZING! 10 out of 10 for sure. We got the full box with honey, raspberry, and chocolate sauces. Totally worth it if you're with a group IMO. So were the cinnamon sugar pretzel bites. HOWEVER, this place is called "Thirst," and of the 5 drinks we ordered, (No Diggity, Dr. McCreamy, and the Spa Water & Mango Citrus Splash H2O mixers), only the Dr. McDreamy was enjoyable. There was either too much or not enough of different syrups/flavors in all the other drinks. For example, the H2O mixers all mostly tasted like straight lemon and lime juice, which made it impossible to taste the various berries and sweet fruits also included. Maybe this was a one-off experience? Multiple trips to competitor "Swig," however, have never ended with *everyone* taking that first sip and wrinkling their noses at the taste. So... maybe get sodas from Swig and treats from Thirst? read more

I'm not a beignet connoisseur by any means. The best ones I've had were at Sassagoula Floatworks inside Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter resort. The beignets here reminds me a lot of how good they were in Disneyworld. Warm, fresh and simply delicious! I would definitely recommend getting some. I also tried their pretzel bites with the nacho dipping sauce and it's very tasty as well. If you need to take a break from your keto or whatever low carb diet you're on, this may be worth the extra 15 mins on the treadmill. Thumbs way up! read more

Our family loves the Disney Princess and the frog movie and once we learned what a beignet was we tried maki them ourselves. This place only offers stuffed beignets at special times. A lot of the foods they serve is perfect for a movie and actually got me in a mood to go to a theater. The drinks are awesome and their foods are super sugary if you got a sweet tooth. Love this place I would come back to try other things forsure. I rate this a 4 but my wife a 3, I recommend the Dr MCreamy which is a Dr Pepper base, raspberry purée and coconut cream. It was a really good drink, everything was well blended and I would get that same drink going back. Lady was wonderful helping me through my first time trying to understand how it works, unfortunately they only have benes on Wednesday so we settled for the scotcharoo , which is a rice krispy based block, has some weight to it with 3 layers middle being a rice crispy which is actually very dense and the bottom being a butter scotch and the top some sort of cream. That was actually pretty tasty. Their cinnamon bites are really good which actually taste better by itself than with the cream cheese dip they got. Awesome place though along with their service. I can't believe I forgot to post a review about this hidden gem. We went several months ago. If you are just looking for fun drinks there are so many places- but this place is so so worth it for the pretzel bites! We tried all three flavors and the just regular salted with the cheese dip sauce was everyone's favorite. But all soo good! The cookie and cookie bar was good but pretty standard for a place like this. But the little bag of popcorn was a fun addition too. There is one picnic table around back, but otherwise this is essentially just a drive through. I definitely want to go back again! read more

Had the pretzels been hot and less salty, I think they would have been delicious. We tried several different drinks, and they were all ok--but none really stood out.
