This is a drive thru coffee spot with some outdoor seating. They also have a walk up window! This is my go-to spot when I want to get a latte on the go! The drinks are super yummy - my favorite is the natures nectar! The service is super quick and the girls that work there have always been so friendly.

I got Nature's Nectar--a honey latte with spiced brown sugar and oatmilk. The taste was okay, nothing stellar. For a quick coffee fix, it did the job, but I won't be going back amongst other options. I did appreciate how it was a drive through, which allowed for in-and-out service.

Really yummy chai latte! Cute little spot, worth the stop! Nice places to sit outside on a nice day.

Base Coffee is a tiny coffee shop - seemingly drive-thru only. The employees were nice and our drinks were made swiftly !

Our server Marin was awesome. The bartender and owner stopped by our table several times to check on us. They have regular and high tables plus seats at the bar. There were several TVs around the back of the restaurant. The front of the restaurant is open during the day for breakfast. I want to try that out soon! Plenty of parking and easy access off the freeway.

So I think in talking to most of my friends I got a good view on the food, and presentation. I had a starter of Totchos, and the Beef Dipper for my entrée. Both were excellent, I shared my Totchos. These are tater tot nachos, they were excellent, normally I don't like cheese sauce on Nachos, but given the consistency and flavor of this sauce (house made, I'm guessing. Not canned) They were excellent. The Beef Dipper and Au Jus, also top notch! Generally in a French dip, there is a lot of fatty pieces, this was not that. Also at my table was the Chile Verde bowl, this one has a kick... but my friend having it really enjoyed it. The fish and chips was great, smelled fresh. Lets talk about the sides. Choice of Fries (appeared to be battered fries, always a favorite of mine.) Tots, or house made potato chips. I had the Potato Chips with mine, these were excellent, crisp and tender on the inside. The Athena (Lamb Burger) got rave reviews from one at the table The Service: Because we were in a large group they advised us they were going to be taking our orders as we came in so not to overwhelm the kitchen staff. Excellent communication throughout service given that we were a large group. I talked to one of the Owners, Laurie, I could tell she had a huge sense of pride in the place. Very friendly! The Restaurant: Great atmosphere, Fun artwork, best of all, VERY Clean, nothing sticky or no grease buildup on any surface. The glass ware on the wall behind the bar as all polished. In the bar area they stack their silver, tableware, condiments etc. in a cute little cozy box on the table, with the main dining area setup as a diner with the traditional paper napkin and silverware. For a diner motif to have shined silver and glassware is a nice touch! Summary: Eat here! The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, when I looked at the menu online I was a little put off by no actual entrée's on the dinner menu, however the in house experience made up for that, it's a pub food vibe and they are doing it well!

Their burritos and fries are my go-to favorites. The burritos are just top-notch, but I have a soft spot for their fries -- it's kind of an inside joke for me. Whenever I go out to eat with people, they always say, "Well, I know what El is having," because I always get fries with my food. But theirs are surprisingly amazing. Fries are usually just "fine" or "good," but theirs? They're very good. The owner is incredibly kind, and their baked goods are fantastic -- especially the peanut butter brownie, which I can't recommend enough. Their soft serve is also really good, and I'm excited to try some of their candy next time. I even took a non-vegan friend there, and he really enjoyed the food. Beyond the food, the team is so nice, and they have a little vegan market with some really cool products. I bought about half a pound of vegan bacon from them, and now I'm making all kinds of breakfast sandwiches at home. If you're in the area, whether you're vegan or not, Sweet Hazel is a must-visit. And if you can't stop by in person, their partner company Break Free Candy ships their sweets, which is awesome. Seriously, if you order anything from the menu, make it the peanut butter brownie. It's life-changing -- and I say that as a huge brownie lover.

I was pleasantly surprised by the decor inside, they have spent a great deal for this location. I ordered chips and salsa to start. These were not complimentary but when they arrived the salsa was fresh and unique. I was glad I ordered them. My wife chose the carne asada burrito. She raved about the flavor and could only finish half. I ordered a unique taco which had an authentic name this gringo cannot remember but it was built on a house made corn tortilla about twenty inches long and ten inches wide. Steak, Mexican cream, tomatillo sauce, freshly shredded lettuce and cheese. I've never had anything like it but it is awesome. The service was quick and efficient. Very delightful people. The check had included a 15% Service Charge so I was glad to see the options on the screen to add a tip began at a level that matched up with the service charge at a reasonable level. I only had one complaint, The music was a little loud. The sound system is great and I loved the authentic music but the baseline was pumping loud enough to hurt my ears. I'd recommend adjusting the volume or the mix to make it a little more comfortable. Overall I loved this experience and will definitely want to come again. No pictures, sorry.

"Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

I knew from the parking lot this place was a winner. Once inside, it had a welcoming atmosphere and people inside were all having a good time. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). It had a fresh taste to it and even a little lemon-y, which didn't make the fried cutlet taste too rich. It came with mashed potatoes, gravy and veggies. The veggies were your basic steamed veggies, but the dish was overall good. Service was great-server was attentive and the manager came around as well to check on us.
