We live in the Brookside neighborhood which is a gated community in Stockton, and moved here approximately 18 months ago, the house we purchased was built in 1992, and the fence was original to the house. The fence we shared with our neighbor fell down. After receiving two other estimates, I contacted High Quality Fence. They sent the estimator, Moises who gave me a very competitive bid as a written estimate on the spot. I really appreciated that because I didn't have to wait for the estimate to be emailed to me. I had a new redwood fence using metal posts installed around my property and it turned out great. None of the metal posts show in the finished product. The neighbors that share the fence were equally impressed. Most of the fence was the typical picket, and part of it was a "board on board Picture frame" around the deck area. The crew wore masks the whole time (5 days) that they were working, even when digging thru the hardpan and removing roots. If 5 days seems like a long time, the metal posts are a lot more labor intensive than wood posts, plus the hardpan. Moises was always prompt in returning my calls and was happy to oblige if I wanted to change something at the last minute. The materials used were top notch. Not what you would find at the local lumber companies. The cost was higher than my other estimates, but you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

HQF did a great job from beginning to end on our new fence. We got a quote within a few days of our initial request and had a finished fence within a week from the quote. Our property is on a busy corner lot and the existing fence is on a slight slope with irrigation underneath it and vegetation around it. We needed an 89' fence and a small gate. They pulled down the old fence and put up 90% of the new fence in one day which meant our backyard wasn't exposed overnight. That was great for our outdoor pets and security for us. The finishing touches were finished the next day. The style is board on board which gives us great security and they used superior quality wood. Communication with the office was prompt and kept us informed throughout. The crew were polite, considerate and experts at their work. They cleaned the site as they worked. Our South fence and West gate were in dire shape. We went through about 5 different quotes hoping to get someone local before we found High Quality Fence and Moises.
