The two young guys cater to the younger clientele in the back of the shop. The owner, Wilfredo, likes a relaxed atmosphere where anytime can feel comfortable. He plays old school Latino music and sometimes contemporary Christian music. I've been coming here for about five years. Wilfredo's English isn't great but he's very easy to communicate with nonetheless and tries his best to give you what you want. I often experiment with different hair styles and he always works with me. If you communicate, he'll always be receptive to you (most barbers just cut your hair the way they want). I'm a young guy myself but I appreciate a place that doesn't feel an extension of the front stoop of a Bronx building. These guys are working class, middle aged dudes that love their jobs, want to give you a great cut, and want you to come back. You want a cut, this is the place!

Read through it and didn't really see what the big deal was in terms people talking while getting their hair cut. So I went through their Instagram, liked the work they did and scheduled for a cut the same day. When I walked in, everyone was wearing mask and there was hand sanitizer on hand. Owner introduced himself to me, offered me water or coffee, and then sat me with Nelson who I scheduled my time with. I'm in love. I got the special for hair cut, shave and eyebrows for 32. And Nelson put so much attention to detail on making sure all the lines on my beard matched, that my fade was a gradient, and got my bushy eye brows in place. I scheduled time during my lunch hour and he had me looking fresh right on time to get back to work. I feel bad that I'm no longer going to be going to my old barber, but Nelson did such an amazing job that it's just one of those sacrifices you gotta make in life. Thank you!
