To some folks in the Carson Valley, "shredding" means skiing at one of the local resorts. My recent visit to High Sierra Business System involved dropping 2 bankers boxes off for paper shredding. I'm on the Board of a local non-profit and had just finished up a records retention exercise. The price was right - $13 per box and the guy running the place couldn't be more helpful and engaging. High Sierra is a bit of a drive from Genoa, but it was "on the way" as I had bunched up my errands that afternoon. I went in there to print out a label, I had a mask on but not over my nose due to health reasons. Right away the owner wouldn't help me until I had my mask up over my nose, I explained to him I'm not able to breathe, all he could say was up over the nose and kept on repeating in a rude fashion so much so I told him I will take my business elsewhere as he told me he will not be disrespected, well, he sure disrespected ME as a customer!! I went to the UPS store and glad I did, they know how to treat a customer!! No wonder at this place there were no customers inside. I would advise anybody to think twice before dealing with this place if you want to be treated right as a customer! Very rude! read more
