As he is Arabic and has a strong accent he does not understand Australian women at all. He would say things to me like "women shouldn't live alone, very bad for your reputation", "what were you doing out without a man at midnight?" and he switched my medication to an anticonvulsant and he actually said this: If you break your leg and have to go to hospital and you say you are on xanax, they go hmmm junkie, if you say you are on Clonazepam they say oh epileptic and you will get better treatment!!! I said But I'm not epileptic, and he said they didn't have to know that. If you wear a burqa he may be the Dr for you, otherwise avoid at all costs!

Best to have a reasonable idea of what's wrong first, but most of the GPs are fine for a prescription, referral, certificate or the very common ailments. This place would get a better rating if they could do something with their consistently long waiting times.

Not only is his mannerism calming and caring, he has a wealth of knowledge. As a PTSD patient, I would often be judged by doctors. Dr Javahari has never taken matters lightly, and made his mission to never make me feel judged for my illness. He insisted on monitoring me weekly, when going through bad bouts, so as to keep me safe. All-in-all, he has saved me. Helped me with physical ailments, psychological ailments or would refer me onto the experts need be. I couldn't be happier with the responsible care, compassion and determination displayed by Dr Javahari. Also, the beautiful Administration staff and nurses, never make us feel a burden, and always have a smile on their faces. Well done Dr. Javahari and Penrith Medical Centre.

Several parts of the hospital are new or have been renovated recently and are very nice and clean and updated. There is a new and old parking garage but at times they are full and it is difficult to find somewhere to park. You need to get there early in the morning. Dropping somebody off can be a challenge with at least seven different entrance points to the hospital and it being quite amazed to figure out which one to use and where to park just to drop somebody off. Quite often you go to drop somebody off and there are several people sitting in a car doing I don't know what so you need to double park or go round in circles until you can find somewhere to drop somebody off. It is hit and miss with the amount of care provided the hospital at one stage. My dad was checking out and he was waiting for some medicine for four hours and it never showed up so he left. The next day they called him at home and said his medicine was ready to be picked up nearly 24 hours later. We tried to get parking validated due to the ridiculous cost to pay to park at the hospital and was sent to at least six different people and during some of the conversations were treated extremely rudely by the hospital staff. I would look at going to a different hospital if I had a choice.
