If you're broke and looking for bargain basement prices you get bargain basement product. I for one am happy to pay for quality, and I definitely expected the cost to be higher so for me it was a win. 3. The security guard was not super friendly, but I actually think that's cool cause I felt safe inside. Like he was actually securing the space. The rest of the staff was friendly & had answers to my questions. 4. I got some fire flower. I'm not into pre-rolls and consider myself a bit of a connoisseur. 10/10. Again shocked by a few of the reviews I read. Bargain basement Billy complaining about the quality but got a $5 pre-roll on BOGO is diabolical like brooooo get it together, caviar dreams on a taco bell budget is not the vibe. The flower I bought had me stuck in the clouds so I'm glad I went in before I read the reviews. Overall, For me the spot was one of the coolest weed stores I have been in. Wow - their security guard is extremely unsettling and combative. I just stopped in after work for…read morethe first time since the dispensary changed names from Space Flyt to House of Grams. When I handed my ID to the security guard he took a weird step to his right that I wasn't even paying attention to. At the same time I shifted my weight to the left while I considered walking toward the atm to withdraw some funds for my purchase. The second I shifted my weight he immediately took a large step back - making it obvious he didn't like the fact that I was somehow in his way I guess. Tbh I thought I was just blocking his light for the camera on the Ipad while he was trying to photograph my ID. I casually apologized - still not realizing how bizarre the situation was. Once I apologized my courteous but thoughtless apology, he quickly replied with "I just don't like people standing in my personal space" in an intense and intimidating monotone voice. At which point I realized me and this guy were experiencing vastly different realities - seeing as I was never closer than the arms length necessary to literally hand him my ID. Weird and discomforting reaction from a guy with a pistol strapped to his chest - but I brushed it off with a simple 'oh' with a minimal but naturally surprised tone. Wanting to get my meds and move on, I left it at that. He then pressed me with "I'm sure you can agree?", to which I replied 'what?' - genuinely confused at that point. He responded, "That you don't like when someone stands in your personal space." Tbh I was baffled - thinking to myself 'wtf are you talking about bro? I'm not in your space and even if I am - get a different job if you're uncomfortable - you literally have a gun and a bulletproof vest on why are you stressing me rn.' Anyways I didn't know what to say cuz I was so confused by his behavior and I didn't want to set him off seeing as how he's armed and all - so I told him I was 'indifferent', because whatever was occurring in that moment wasn't me 'in his personal space', and I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of agreeing with him and him thinking I was validating his implied stance that I was in his personal space. So I kept it peaceful with 'I'm indifferent'. He didn't like that. He was not satisfied. He pressed me further - something along the lines of "indifference aside, you would agree...." and at that point I realized he didn't know the definition of indifferent and I began tuning him out waiting for him to hand me my ID back, so I could gtfo of there as quickly as possible. I don't need some security guards insecurity fucking up my day and asking me a bunch of dumb irrelevant questions. Get a different job if you're uncomfortable bud. I will go to a different dispensary. To the owner and management - good luck retaining customers with a security guard who gets shook up when someone stands close enough to them to hand them their ID. I'm now at my usual dispensary and will never return to the House of Too Close For Comfort.

This shop is on the corner of Jefferson and Potomac, with a large "Los Angeles" mural on the side, curated by Mister Cartoon, which is pretty freaking awesome! Illa also has an extensive amount of edibles (my favorite). However, if edibles are not your forte, they have various selections of flowers too. Ugh, the value, customer service, and location can't be beat! If you're in the area, check them out! P.S --They also have a small parking lot in the back, just be careful with the small potholes in the alley. :)
