I went to check out SWED a few weeks ago, and I was super impressed all the way around. 1. The vibe was top tier. So many insane Instagram ready phot op spots. 2. I expected the prices to be much higher given the experience & vibe, but they were good prices for quality product. I read some reviews before leaving my own and I was super annoyed that people were saying it was overpriced. You get what you pay for. If you're broke and looking for bargain basement prices you get bargain basement product. I for one am happy to pay for quality, and I definitely expected the cost to be higher so for me it was a win. 3. The security guard was not super friendly, but I actually think that's cool cause I felt safe inside. Like he was actually securing the space. The rest of the staff was friendly & had answers to my questions. 4. I got some fire flower. I'm not into pre-rolls and consider myself a bit of a connoisseur. 10/10. Again shocked by a few of the reviews I read. Bargain basement Billy complaining about the quality but got a $5 pre-roll on BOGO is diabolical like brooooo get it together, caviar dreams on a taco bell budget is not the vibe. The flower I bought had me stuck in the clouds so I'm glad I went in before I read the reviews. Overall, For me the spot was one of the coolest weed stores I have been in. Definitely will be back, and I was lucky enough to come on a day I actually got to see Snoop and his son. So all and all imma give this spot a 5 star. read more

The staff is absolutely delightful, the store is fun and comfortable to parouse the offerings, the hours very accommodating especially with the awful parking lot... the website very useful, except that the fact a credit card purchase tacks on additions fees (my cub says is illegal???) is either not listed at all OR not prominently displayed. The receipt I was given only lists my total purchase price and not an itemized breakdown, I spent nearly $80. What I did appreciate was the lovely clerk that assisted me with my pickup order she divulged this fact. One can go and get ca$h from the 7-11 just a few storefronts away (be careful of the unhoused person laying down blocking the walkway: I hope Law Enforcement refers them to services). I walked in just because I went to the restaurant next door. This used to be a Dr. Green thumb shop. In my experience, the security walked away from the door as we were walking in and went to go talk to the people behind the counter for three whole minutes leaving the clothing, part of the shop unattended. When we walked up to him at the counter pretty much, we handed him our IDs, and then he decided to make us walk backwards without even greeting us The people inside hardly recognize that we were paying patrons and did not make it feel in inviting for us to come in Shop or spend money with them I didn't anticipate truly buying anything when I walked in. Just wanted to see what the hype was all about. But it has the vibe of A undercover weed shop where it's a business. Only transaction is not really a friendly interaction. I definitely won't be back. I've been going to dispensaries for the past year or two, and I've visited different dispensaries in Santa Monica, Venice, and Westwood. I wanted to try this one because I found it on Yelp. The dispensary is beautiful. It's immaculate. It's very aesthetic. It's clean, but the customer service is cold and should be better. I came in, of course, they checked my ID. I found this place on Yelp, on 1/3, and decided to visit. First, parking is horrible. Fortunately, I found street parking. Second, when I walked in, I wasn't greeted and wasn't sure whether to go left or right. The security guard, with tats all over his face, just looked at me. Finally, when I got to the counter, at least the budtender said "Good morning Sir", but that was it. They had built him his own private room. The store itself bring back so much nostalgia. Brick walls bring back so many memories of the Doggystyle album. Now s.w.e.d snoop dogg dispensary has a video camera to an illegal tow company, not the listed towing sign. They towed my car & apparently known to steal cars, I was eating at adjacent restaurant in same strip center & towed my car,with handicapped placard with mom's walker inside. I also bought from S.W.E.D CBD edibles for her Parkinson's & was told parking in the parking lot was ok... well I was informed they are stealing cars... The security guard had the phone number of that company & an answering was all messages full. Great shop overall. I love the security guards and a majority of the staff at times attitudes can be present for simple requests but it's whatever. Today however was extremely disappointing which showed me how they treat their customers when conflicts arise. A customer bumped into me and I guess due to his order size the lady specifically said " don't talk to him like that" as if he was a fulll child incapable of understanding basic principles like excuse. (The customer chose to squeeze himself past me even tho I didnt even move since he could've simply walked around me given how much space there was. 2 customers behind me saw it clearly yet somehow given how I was the one angry they chose to kick me out not letting me pay, given I've been a very consistent customer since I moved back here in September. Sure they won't lose sleep losing another customer not surprising given their most recent sh**tings that took someone's life. Maybe if they had better management things like this wouldn't happen. Who knows I'll be ending my former consistent relationship with them given that lady with the glasses being the ultimate decision maker for the company.
