Fish fry is very good on Fridays and prime rib is usually a very good choice on Saturday evenings.

The Velveteen Plum - The cow was still mooing. Asked the waitress if the customer can choose how they want their burger cooked and she said no.

Went here twice this past weekend, the first was for dinner on Friday night. The restaurant is on…read morethe fifth floor of a residential building and has a rooftop patio with limited shade. As it was hot, we ate at the bar inside. The bartender helped us out with good and drinks. The N/A mule was tart, refreshing and delicious. For an appetizer, we had the chimichurri bread. It was amazing. 5 pieces of bread slathered. PS - check your teeth after because I had greens everywhere! We tried the avocado smash salad with chicken which had a fabulous vinaigrette dressing on it, the fish tacos with the black beans and the ahi tuna tacos with fruit. The fruit was watermelon which is a great summer fruit. . Everything was so delicious and we were too full for dessert. There is a parking lot across the street, as well as one near the building. When I visit Wausau again, I will come back here!! Love the views of Rib Mountain from the rooftop.

It is a vibe in here and the views are great, I love the atmosphere! They have an elevator or stairs to get up to the 5th floor. It is a tiny elevator if you are bringing a larger group. The bathrooms were immaculately clean and it felt like a spa vibe. Service: Friendly and helpful, got all of our orders correct and the food came out quite quickly. Drink: I HIGHLY recommend the mezcal bloody mary, it was my favorite part of the entire experience. I would come back just for that drink. Food: Everyone at the table was extremely happy with their food and was raving about it, except me lol The breakfast quesadilla is meh. The eggs were over cooked, not a lot of filling, and the filling was watery? Maybe from the veggies? Which doesn't make sense because there was barely anything other than egg in the quesadilla. The sauces didn't have a ton of flavor and the outside of the tortilla wasn't very crispy. I'm leaving 4 stars though because everyone else was extremely happy with their food and that mezcal bloody was fantastic. Super cute vibes and a great place to chill with family and friends.

The service is absolutely horrific! I give honest reviews, and I need to say that the hostess or…read morethe manager was truly a very awful person. We sat and waited for more than 40 minutes after our so called reservation. We were never asked if we wanted to sit upstairs or downstairs, but he was going to put us at a high top with two babies. That makes no sense at all! My neighbors were even there and asked for a downstairs table as they were elderly and couldn't get up the high stairs. They had to wait for almost an hour to get it. Unfortunately, we didn't even get to try the food, because the wait took so long. When I mentioned this to the manager, he literally yelled at us on our way out in front of everyone. What a wonderful memory of this place. He was a JERK. The place is adorable, but I would highly suggest to make sure you ask your customers if they want to sit upstairs or downstairs and their preferences before you decide to book a large group. Along with that, if you have people waiting for so long, at least offer them a water or something while they wait. I also heard from my Neighbors that their French toast was hard., the wait was long, and everything was overpriced for what you got. I would not suggest going here if you're looking to spend a half a day just waiting for just ok food.

The charcuterie board was an excellent choice for a light meal while the kids eat their dinner early. The lemon dessert was light and delicate with a good balance of sweet and tart from the berries. Good beer from the Saw Mill as usual. Love dim lighting which creates a causal and relaxing ambiance.

We sat down and waited a considerable amount of time for our drinks. 10 minutes maybe. When we got our order in, it took about an hour to come out. Our waiter told us pretty much as we got our food that there was a wait because a big party decided to order a lot of food. I do not think it is fair to make a two top wait as long as what seemed to be a ten-twelve top to get their food. Those people were comfortable and (really loud...) and happy to sit and chat while my partner and I were already itching to leave thirty minutes in due to the noise... we got our food and luckily it was good and we wanted to order more but truly we decided it was not worth the wait due to all the people and fear of having a wait again. We promptly asked for the check so we can leave and go to Culver's. I would have appreciated a heads up about the wait as soon as they figured it would be a while. Not a minute before we received our food. I get that things run behind but they didn't look short on servers based on the space. Someone should have told us a lot sooner. And the noise, man... there's a point where you gotta tell people to quiet down.
