I've used other tree services but I found High View to be the best I've used. They are a family owned business and the crew that arrived at out house were three generations of the family. The crew was prompt, courteous, and professional. We had a large (3 ft diameter) oak removed from our front yard along with two smaller trees and miscellaneous trimming. We have a wood stove and the crew cut all the wood into stove lengths for me. They arrived at the time they said they would and completed the work in record time. 1/9/2019 I didn't want me to write this negative review but I felt compelled to alert the public to this company, High View Tree Service, regarding its behavior towards a neighbor. First they wanted $2400 to take down 3 trees. My neighbor thought it was too much. He contacted a number of other tree companies and got a quote for $1500 and was considering going with this company when his other neighbor , who was also having trees removed by High View, called and said that High View was reducing the cost to $1800.This was high but better than the original estimate. High View came, appeared to have done a quality job and was paid accordingly. However they left a number of large limbs on an island which is a common used area for the housing development. After a week or more my neighbor had to contact High View to come and finish the job. Which they did but instead of taking the limbs away and cutting them up elsewhere they cut them on the island and left a mess! Once again my neighbor contacted High View about this issue has not received any response as of today. Also he asked about stump grinding and got a verbal quote of $425. He checked around and got an estimate from another company for $250! I have a photo of the mess but it didn't translate well with the cut and paste. read more
