I had a European LG washer/dryer single unit with a front door gasket leak. Called them and Higher Standard sent out a technician the next day on time, with the estimated time window given. Appliance pro Rick order the part, which took 4 days to arrive. A 40 minute installation and some above and beyond service to the LG washer/dryer combo, problem solved. Today we contacted Higher Standard Appliance Repair regarding a malfunctioning Samsung Refrigerator. Cary the person we spoke with was very helpful! Not only was she able to schedule a repair appointment for the very next morning but she also advised us to call back with the Model number and Error code to see if she could help us reset the refrigerator over the phone and thus save a service call.With her guidance we were successful with our reset and thus were able to avoid the cost and inconvenience of a service call. This company has certainly earned our loyalty for any future appliance repairs we may have! read more

If I could do less than one star I would have. First off they gave me a window of 10-12 and and the guy shows up at 1:10 pm . I called to see where the heck the service guy was and the girl tells me " Well other companies have a 8 hour window ours is only 2 ".... The tech showed up he was ok. But they charged me $235 for 15 minutes worth of work when Samsung was paying for the parts! Do not use this joke of a company! read more

HORRIBLE Company. Run, don't walk away. This is the 2nd time they were at our home for the same issue because they didn't fix it right the first time. Damaged my new flooring when installer tried to be "macho man" removing our washer by himself. The "owner", suggests me calling the flooring manufacturer which I told him I would do, but decides that he would like to instigate before disconnecting and accused me of lying about the damage and trying to get something for nothing out of his company. When I sent him pictures of the damage, his exact words were "well my installer says there was no damage, NICE TRY". A company that speaks to customers like this should not be in business. Late, flippant and tricky! He arrived fast talking, running back and forth from my garage and it was clear he totally did not plan to do repairs "today" as promised.. This 23 yr. old tech was all about the $89.99 service fee so he could go to the next DIAGNOSTIC $89.99 call. My call was clear enough to have repairs COMPLETED as the company promised. I called for REPAIR OF 2 refrigerators and came to the garage to see him rip a wire from one and tell me "THE WIRE BROKE! SERIOUSLY? Whoever' was supervising him over the phone apparently suggested quick ways to eliminate completing repairs today, because they were running behind! RUN! THIS IS A HUSTLE! SHAME ON SAMSUNG for referring this unethical company @their 800 #. After he ripped the wire he told me they'd be back to fix it. Insisted on being paid $89.99 saying he documented the wire needed repair. I contacted the Samsung 800 number and the representative told me the documentation left by this employee indicated that the refrigerator was unserviceable!!!! I've was scammed! Also he refused to wear rubber gloves or wash his hands. Literally OPENED my new Edys's ice cream ONLY to assure me it was frozen but could've been a bit colder. WHO DOES ANY OF THIS DURING COVID OR OTHERWISE? Sagging pants, underwear his butt exposed all over my lower freezer and open French doors ...I'm completely grossed out! Efficient and great value! Called on a Saturday about my Samsung dryer not working and got an appointment on Monday. The tech Chris called me back on Sat to do some advanced trouble shooting and to make sure he had the right parts for the job. Chris arrived on time Monday and went right to work. He spotted the problem right away and recommended some other repairs to keep my dryer working properly. Chris was on time with the right parts and did a great job. I'm a very satisfied customer! One of the worst companies I ever dealt with. Very unprofessional and rude. Had a service technician come the house to evaluate an appliance problem. He diagnosed the problem and said it would take 7 to 10 days to order the part. Called the company after 10 days of not hearing from them and I was told the part was never ordered. Upon questioning the "manager" she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me that she was not going to service the appliance and then hung up on me. Two days later another worker called and said the part was in and they wanted to make an appointment to come and service the appliance. When I called back the previous woman answered and again started to argue with the "paying customer." Needless to say I went somewhere else. Amazing how the part arrived that fast when I was told it never was ordered and they were not going to service me. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. Unprofessional and incompetence at every level. They don't answer their phone, they don't return calls. The Service Tech had NO INTENTION of fixing my refrigerator on either visit, the second time he actually dismantled my refrigerator and left it in pieces all over my kitchen. His supervisor laughed at the fact we were WITHOUT A REFRIGERATOR FOR 3 WEEKS. Do not waste your time or sanity dealing with this clown show of a company. I built a house and the new washer was dented - but it worked and my family could do laundry. Higher Standard came and fixed the dent but, concurrently, somehow disabled the washer - it won't turn on. The kicker? - they didn't tell me about it and let me figure it out on my own. They knew they jacked it up because when I called them the following Monday morning, they had already ordered a part. The part arrived the following Friday but they didn't have a technician available until the following Tuesday (12 days after they made my functional washer non-functional). Today is that Tuesday - just came home to a note that they need to order another part. So the clock is still ticking on when Higher Standard will rectify their incompetence and return my laundry to a functional state. Do yourself a favor and call anybody else. UPDATE: Six days later they showed up to fix it. I wasn't really surprised when they told me they didn't fix it and would need to order some additional parts and it will take 3 - 5 days for those parts to come in. Sorry - three strikes and you're out. I told them to not bother coming back because I have zero confidence in their ability to diagnose and fix the problem that they created. The only way this company should be calling itself "Higher Standard" is if the "standard" that they're trying to surpass is not starting your house on fire. One last tidbit - I noticed a 5 star ranking on Yelp for this company. I also noticed the reviewer's Yelp profile is "Rick L." The thing that struck me as odd is the guy at Higher Standard that I've been communicating with is also a "Rick L." Higher Standard wouldn't boost their own Yelp rating by giving themselves a 5 star review, would they? I'm sure it's just a coincidence. read more
