After all that time, I am…read moregrateful I've finally found the best - especially since they are working primarily on my neck! Initially, I was leery of working with different therapists, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are all experts in how the body is supposed to work, and they know what it takes to get it to its maximum performance level. They function as a family, into which I felt welcomed from the start. Every time I walk in the door, someone greets me by name and asks how I'm feeling. They are warm and genuinely care about my whole being, which is yet another plus. During my session, I sometimes look around the room and marvel at how this group of young experts has kind, almost loving, yet professional relationships with their clients. And they work with people of all ages with effortless professionalism. The app is also amazing. I confessed that I'm guilty of not using the app regularly, so my expert for each PT session advises me of any changes they're making, new exercises they're adding, etc., so I will know to check the app to ensure I'm doing the exercises correctly with the recommended number of reps. If you need PT, don't deny yourself. Get the best. You deserve it. I recommend "my" location, which is on the Tollway adjacent to Methodist's Hospital for Surgery. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to ATI's experts. As I sit here typing, I feel no pain - even if it's temporary. :-)

I want to thank Dr. Ali for being a great physical therapist, a great chiropractor, and an amazing…read moredoctor and person all around. I loved our conversations together and my neck has never felt better. My quality of life has definitely improved from where I was before to after our appointments together. For context, I used to wake up with neck pain every morning, to the point where going to bed was often painful even with the thinnest of pillows -- I often had to fall asleep on ice packs to get through the pain. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. I only wish the best for her and look forward to seeing the growth of her business! If I ever have issues and need physical therapy or chiropracty again, I would definitely go to her again. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in the area -- whether it's chronic pain, athletic damage, or from a car crash, she was able to handle it all.

She keeps all my small nagging pains at bay and allowing me to train at my fullest! Please note- she is not your typical Chiropractor. As a former patient, I find it necessary to warn patients about the "hidden agenda" of their office…read moremanager who seems so preoccupied with his own agenda that the patient gets lost in the shuffle. I made a good faith effort to have a real conversation with their office manager. It was IMPOSSIBLE. Everyone in the world has insurance today. But, he refused to accept my new insurance which is actually one of the top three nationally. He said, "Cash basis only!" When I asked him to put that in writing and/or email, he refused! That's not just a problem. That is a HUGE RED FLAG! IMHO. His "cash basis only" seems like a highly unlikely scenario in 2026! Then, you should also be aware of his inability to articulate in a clear & concise manner. He says the same thing repeatedly...four of five times each!!! For example, "We are no longer independent." (five times) "We are owned by Methodist hospital." (four times) Either he has dementia and repeats things over & over again or his English is so limited that he is unable to elaborate beyond a few key phrases. If you are expecting him to actually listen to you as the patient, your expectations are misplaced. He will continually speak over you...not to convey anything new...only to force you to listen to something that he has already said. REPEATEDLY! He enjoys the sound of his own voice so much that he fails to listen at all. Failure to listen to the patient proves that he has his own agenda. That lack of respect that he shows towards the patient's input is so unsettling that I have chosen to look for another physical therapy office in our area. That won't be too difficult. There seems to be one on every other corner. I suggest that you look elsewhere too.

I've made some great progress with Stephanie and I feel like she really does give a shit. Lol The only thing that pissed me off is that before I started coming here I provided my insurance information see how much my therapy would be costing me. They told me that my insurance went through and I would pay $30 per visit. Excellent. So I started going for the next 2 months. Then I got a call from the receptionist saying that there was a mix up with my insurance number and that I actually have to pay a deductible of $90 per visit. And that I would be receiving a bill for the difference for the past 2 months! This has caused quite a problem for me and has substantially delayed my recovery. I'm not sure whose fault it is, it just really sucks.

She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and she has helped me tremendously in my recovery. Furthermore, the clinic is a fun place to be and everyone there has a great sense of humor. The banter alone makes me look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Physical Therapy of Plano. Oh, one more thing. I have met many other patients there over the past 9 months, and for the most part everyone seems to me to be quite satisfied with their treatment.

My condition was assumed to be adhesive capsulitis, also known as frozen shoulder. I was in a lot of pain and had limited mobility. I was not able to lift my arm above my head from the front or side, and I was not able to reach behind me at all. If I moved in those directions, I shrieked in pain and recoiled with tears streaming down my cheeks. My physical therapist, Daniel, was able to gradually rebuild my strength, help me regain some of my mobility, and relieve me of much of the pain I experienced when moving. He did this through controlled, safe movement and stretches supported and guided by him. He also assigned me isometric exercises and simple stretches until I was strong enough to do strength exercises using bands and pulleys. I was given detailed training instructions so that I could continue to do exercises at home on days when I wasn't scheduled for PT. All of this helped, but with my doctor's consultation, we decided it was best to proceed with surgery because my MRI indicated multiple rotator cuff tears, a partial detached bicep tendon, bone spurs, and arthritis. I'm back in PT three times a week after surgery. While my sutures heal, PT at this time is mainly to continue my mobility and stretch in a safe and controlled environment. Once enough time has passed for healing, we will again focus on rebuilding my strength and maintaining current mobility in addition to increasing it. I'm highly optimistic that I will be able to swim again. It might be 6 months to a year before that happens, but I'm well on my way because of the team at Rise. Everyone at Rise is friendly, upbeat, caring, and rooting for each person's success. The room seems barren, but they have several patient tables, exercise bands, and other exercise equipment to get you back in top form to live your best life. I'm a firm believer of PT after having experienced care at Rise.
