Instead, he treated my kidney failure like a footnote, hyper-focused entirely on joint x-rays, and tried to force me into a monthly routine of localized corticosteroid joint injections. He completely ignored the fact that corticosteroids worsen severe depression and mood, and he refused to listen or let me finish sentences when I asked questions.On top of that, despite knowing I am a small business contractor driving 1.5 hours each way from Keller, his front desk completely refused to combine my appointments to save me travel time, expecting me to lose entire working days just for their billing cycles. Because his treatment plan was completely ineffective and he refused to listen, I called his front desk, told them to cancel all my appointments, and officially fired him. Incredibly, after I turned him down and quit, the clinic mailed a petty "discharge" letter claiming they dropped me. I fired this clinic first because their rigid, assembly-line procedure model is completely unequipped to handle complex renal patients.
