Their computers were down during my visit, so please take that into consideration:…read more - visited Dr. Ron Richardson's clinic for a sore tooth - computers and x-rays were down - I waited 45 minutes while filling out the questionnaire forms for 2nd time - after a short exam (estimate around 2 minutes, no longer than 5), I was charged $133 for the visit and told I need a root canal, performed at another clinic - at the other clinic, an x-ray was taken, the endodontologist examined my tooth and concluded that a root canal cannot be done, have to go to another clinic for tooth extraction - I asked Dr. Richardson's clinic if they would consider a refund of their $133 exam fee for wrong diagnosis, my inconvenience, and I had to pay the endodontologist bill too), they said sorry no - people there were nice, but professionally I feel they made an error by not compensating me in any way except an apology - I hope your experience there is better than mine

Dr. Richardson always seems to be extra-thorough, and explain everything really well to me, which I appreciate. He'll also make you laugh and smile, and he seems to be good friends with all his staff, which is so nice. His staff seems good, too, although make sure to ask if all the X-rays they try to take are necessary, because that's just a good policy for going to a dentist.

Irresponsible, unethical, incompetent and unprofessional. Place looks nice but the secretary, whoever that was a few years back, is shit. I wrote a formal letter of complaint to the dentists. However, they have just switched owners / changed dentists and DIDN'T TELL ME prior to my appointment. So after my appointment I was hit with a massive bill, no where near what I normally used to pay. I was in complete shock! It is due to two reasons 1) they have increased their prices significantly and 2) they no longer give small discounts for people without dental insurance. I have called over 5 dentists in the area and all of them give discounts to people without insurance. In fact, I was told it is common practice to do that in Toronto! The new owners have just obtained a great customer base from the previous dentists and this is how they treat us? Welcome to your new dentist, now I'm going to screw you, open wide! The services I received were exactly the same as I had received preivously in the past, just at a much higher price tag. I won't go again and will be contacting all of my family, friends and neighbours I recommended them to so they know what has happened.
