I had a very frustrating experience with this dental office. They initially referred me to a specialist for the wrong tooth because of their own mistake and it almost resulted in a completely healthy tooth being extracted. Later, they decided to do the root canal and crown themselves. The root canal itself was fine, but the entire crown process took around 11 months. During that time I was given multiple appointments, many of which were either canceled at the last minute or delayed because the dentist was unavailable. On top of that, the crown had to be remade several times because it did not fit properly. I had to go through multiple rounds of impressions and installation appointments, which wasted a lot of my time and caused unnecessary stress. Overall, the lack of organization, repeated mistakes and constant delays made this one of the worst experiences I've had with a dental office. read more

I went in to get a tooth pulled. There x-ray machine was broken so they took a x-ray off of the kids machine and then right after they did that they told me they don't pull teeth there. Worst dental office ran by the worst receptionist and office manager ever to be in dental health. Whoever owns this facility needs to do some soul searching for the simple fact that you have 1.5stars on yelp due to your staffs incompetence and lack of bedside manner. Tried to make an appointment for my son and I requested an ASL sign language interpreter and they said NO they're not responsible to provide me a sign language interpreter! And that I have to call my insurance company to provide me one. I disagreed and told them that they're literally violating the ADA laws and they could get sued for any miscommunication. Horrible!! They rescheduled me twice then when I'm here today for some X-rays cause apparently my insurance didn't approve my root canal I've been waiting 4 hrs!!! My appointment was at 1pm!! Went for a root canal. 80% of the pain went away. Spent ~800$ cash. Constantly kept reporting. Told the Dentist there is still root he did not get. He kept saying clean and it will go away. The pain is exact same point just less intensity. They proposed removing the tooth which is a ~200$ procedure and I told them I would consent to this. Spoke to corporate about this and they said Jason the front desk reception would get back to me on the matter. This was about 2 months ago that corporate said this and I have been calling during business hours every week or 2 and no response. Will update my rating if problem is fixed. read more

And soo rude and unprofessional, they had the little Asian girl working up front answering every single call, checking in patients and helping the other patients with their next appointments. I made an appointment here for April 4 2023 to get My teeth clean and to see if I needed to get my wisdom teeth out. And my appointment was at 9 o'clock. I get there sit in the front for an hour then get called my back they do my X-rays and the lady had no idea what she was doing. Then sit in the chair for about 10 min. Then the lady Dr.kaur come checks my teeth and says we can't clean your teeth today we have to much going on. So then I go to the front to make another appointment with Jose, who books me out 3 weeks for April 28 at 1 to then Get a text the day before my Appointment that it is canceled bc they didn't book me under my doctor. This office ruined my friends dentures and refused to adjust them or do any work on them. They couldn't use the dentures to eat or anything. Honestly terrible work on the offices part. Didn't read these reviews till at the dentist, first thing I asked before they took my daughters X rays was "can this office prescribe Vicodin etc for pain?" She said no they passed a law you have see an MD for pain meds. This is a flatout lie, the only reason this office couldn't prescribe is because they don't possess a PHD! So the state allows u to assume a certified dentist is about to drill you when it sounds like you get a high school ROP student or God knows who inflicting pain on your kid because I trusted the state! They have all new staff. Dr. Robert the old Man is NO LONGER working there. I had an appointment on 9-6-2022 and the new Dr. there was very caring and listen to me. They were very helpful. There phone system is still working out the kinks so you either have to go in to make appointments or you can text them. I would bring my children here to be seen. And that says a lot. Highland dental caused me to loose two facial teeth. They shaved down way too much of one of my teeth for a crown. So small that the crown they put on broke off with most of my tooth. The other tooth had a total of 3 root canals done on it, which weakened the tooth and most of that tooth broke off. Obviously the second tooth needed a crown which I had to keep pointing out to them. They totally blew it off and I lost most of that tooth. I don't recommend highland dental to anyone. They do not know what they are doing. I had to tap 1 star to start my review. Believe the reviews. this has to be the worst place ever, I filed a complaint with the dental board, they lie, change dates on x-rays to cover their mistakes. it takes months to get anything done, constantly retake x-rays because they were done wrong, just about impossible to contact on phone, I could list about 50 things they did wrong but not worth it. if I had the money to hire an attorney and take them to court for messing my mouth up. I have since then quit this place and also medi-cals access dental insurance and switched to liberty ins and a real dental office, not a dirty clinic. I saw a few photos of the dirt and looked at the date the same cobweb and dirt from 2 yrs ago are still in the office. I'm just glad I was able to get my mouth fixed by a real dentist and a real dental office. oh btw, since this is a clinic and most of the dentists aren't fully lic dentists they can't give you any pain meds just Motrin/Tylenol and antibiotics, so if you're in real pain you're out of luck. do yourself a favor go someplace else... funny how so many bad reviews of this place have been flagged and on another page. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Dr. Robert came in with such an unprofessional attitude. He didn't even let me translate the information he was giving to the patient who doesn't speak English. He just kept talking and told me not to speak until he was finished. What's surprising is that he kept bluntly preaching his title and experience as a doctor, yet he couldn't even describe to us the specific tooth he was pointing at when looking at the x-Rays. I was speechless. When asking questions for clarification, he had the nerve to say he felt disrespected when he was the one talking down to us the entire time. The front desk lady scheduling the next appointment was also not on the same page as the doctor. There was no communication whatsoever. She gave an agenda that was different from what was discussed previously and kept mixing up the treatment plan. read more
