On each side of the gear box retainer pins and washers were loose and unsecured. So not only did he not repair the snowblower...when he broke the lawnmower...he didn't repair the lawnmower properly. No phone call, no update, no explanation. I had to call them to find out what was wrong with my own mower. When I finally spoke with Ron, the service manager, he was short, dismissive, and unwilling to answer my questions about why a major component would fail after only two months or whether I had any options for an exchange or refund. Then my husband called, and suddenly the mower was ready for pickup. The oil change and blade sharpening I requested were never done. The manager offered excuses instead of accountability, including telling me weekends "don't count" as part of the nearly three weeks they had my mower. I bought a brand-new mower because I have a large property and needed reliable equipment. Instead, I got a major mechanical failure after two months, weeks without my mower during peak mowing season, poor communication, and dismissive customer service. Spending over $4,000 apparently does not guarantee reliable equipment or basic customer service at TERPSTRA'S. I will take my business elsewhere and would not recommend their sales or service department.

I got their Bradley 48" stander, I love the mower. Built like a tank, and climbs hills like a…read moregoat. I cannot get this sucker stuck where my garden tractor with locking differential normally would. Very comfortable platform, and it will mow that grass. I had an issue with the B&S engine on it, needed servicing, a warranty repair thing. I brought the mower to a local authorized Briggs repair center (Arlington Power Equipment), they were a joke! Held it for 10 days until they could get to it, then just did a quick looksee, nothing was repaired, they just totally left me hanging! So I contacted Bradley directly, they sent out their guy to come up here to pick up the mower. He haul it down to Bradley IL to their service center, they got it fixed and delivered back to me within a week. I'm quite happy with the mower and happy with the follow-up service.
