But I want to elaborate on what really made me decide to write this review about them. I bought a super recycler mower made by Toro, I brought a home and tried it and there seem to be some kind of issue with the engine. I had a feeling it was an issue with the carburetor, but was just worried more because it was a new mower that I just purchased and it's already having a problem. I called Roger, the owner and explained to him the situation and what was going on. Roger worked with me to get an exchange. I knew it was kind of a longshot to ask for, but the people at Alsip Lawnmower will go above and beyond for you. I purchased all my equipment from them which is now two super recyclers, two echo line trimmers and a backpack blower and any parts I may need for my mowers or equipment. I always recommend anyone I know that needs service for a lawnmower or engine, or is looking for a mower to them, because I know they will be taken care of well.

For four years I waste my life for only two raises and no promotions just to be belittled and scorn by the family who owned the company. Quantity over quality was pretty much the main quota. Good portion of my time working there I felt unsafe. Majority of the machines there are outdated, broken, ghetto rigged, or worse. Everything was extremely dirty especially the locker room. We didn't even have a real lunch room. Just a square room with 2 broken tables, a fridge, and a Pepsi machine that didn't properly work. The floors caked with dirt, oil, and small bits of metal. We would once a year scrape the floors to see the concrete. Most of the employees are ex-convicts, racists, or a combination. Place is so bad even the owners son quit to go somewhere better. There was no loyalty. The owners and the people running the office were terrible human beings and just were money hungry. I wouldn't suggest anyone doing business with them or even seek employment. After my time there I found something 10 times better and was already making $4 then what I was in the same area, with less stress and easier work.

When we get there they want $110 an hour for service, won't quote a price and won't look at if for less than $500. All of which might have been acceptable if they had said that over the phone to start with. As it is I figure I was the victom of the old "Bait and switch". Next step will be to tell me this one is not worth fixing and I need to spend $12,000 on a new one. I don't think so.
