Highland Screen Prints did a stellar job. I needed custom made t-shirts for my uncle's celebration of life and they were able to make them quickly as I had a tight turn-around. I really appreciated that they did a test print of the shirt design as it allowed me to see what could be improved upon with the graphics to help it translate better to print. I would highly recommend them. The t-shirts were a hit.

I placed an order for two custom shirts a week before a special event with my mom, and when I went to pick them up, the doors were locked. Nobody answered the phone. someone opened the store a half hour later, and the gentleman acted confused and did not have my order anywhere. I showed my receipt, the email correspondence with the store, and then I was assured they would be done in a rushed manor in order to still get them done in the hours before the event. I received a text minutes before the new pick-up time that the "machine was down" and the order would not be fulfilled. I was given excuses about an employee being sick and a machine being down, but the fact is, there was a full week that went by with no signal that this order would not be completed. Another employee gaslit me and said they called and left a message on Saturday, Dec. 14 with an update, but they did not. This T-shirt was for a one-time family get-together with my mom who flew in from Chicago, and this order was a disaster all the way through. Don't mess with a gay son and his mom- do better!!

Fantastic work by this team. I literally just brought 20 resort towels and said I need them to say this. They created the design and turned them around in two days. I had a great experience with Highland Screen Prints. On a Friday night, I decided to print a dozen t-shirts as gifts I wanted to give the very next day. I called up the shop around 7 p.m., he picked up the phone and I dropped everything off at 9 a.m. on Saturday and had t-shirts in hand by 5. It was our first time making merchandise in a while, and quality was a priority for us. Originally we tried ordering some samples from somewhere else, an online print-on-demand site. We had heard good things about the convenience of print-on-demand, but when the samples arrived we were really disappointed. The colors were off and muted, smaller text and lines came out blurry, and some of the graphics came out misshapen. We decided to try working with a local print shop instead. I called a few of the bigger print shops in downtown LA that I had heard of, but on the phone I got the impression that they prioritized significantly bigger orders. I felt that my small business needs would not be given as much attention. I turned to Yelp to find an even more local business in the Pasadena area. After reading great reviews for EM Print Studio, I gave them a call. Eli picked up right away and took the time to answer all of my questions on the phone. I was able to send him an image of my design right away. Once we agreed to some of the parameters for the project, he scheduled me in on short notice for an in-person consultation. During the consult, Eli brought examples of the options for printing on t-shirts and explained everything to me. As someone who is new to making t-shirts, I found it extremely helpful to be able to see it in-person and also feel the texture of the garments. Eli was generous with his time and it was clear he knew his stuff. I felt confident that my order would be in good hands. He sent over a quote that same day and turned around my order in record time. After we had wasted all that time with the print-on-demand company, we were behind on our timeline to get the shirts to our students but thanks to Eli we got it done. The quality of the shirts is amazing. Truly a night-and-day difference from the print-on-demand samples. The colors are bright and every detail looks crisp and clean. Exactly what we were hoping for. Payment has to be made up front as well for a service they might not be able to provide. For sticker sheet printing, for some reason, they count quantities by individual kiss cut stickers despite selling in sheets, which is false advertisement (especially when a 4 in by 6 in sheet can hold a bunch of stickers of various shapes and designs). Their user interface for sticker ordering is essentially copied from other sticker companies in the area, yet they don't even understand how the selection works. If you absolutely have to use this service over others in the area, make sure to use card in case issues like this show up and call ahead of time to make sure they're actually able to do the job by the deadline you need for it.

I came with a last minute idea that had to be done in 2 days, no only was the project completed, Porfirio made accommodations that no other business even entertained.
