You really need to have longer conversations about exactly what you want and he was a bit preoccupied with another job when we talked. Just a bit casual in the way he works. First of all he didn't discuss paper quality or weight which most printers I have worked with would bring up during your consultation. Additionally we wanted to hard laminate bookmarks, which he tried to talk us out of. But what he didn't do, when he printed the bookmarks is trim them where the design clearly ended before laminating them (and it was not a hard lamination) so all of the bookmarks had a 1/2 inch at the top without design. The design very clearly showed where it stopped but he did not see it or the difference from the end of the design and the bleed. I guess that was something else we needed to be super clear with him about, something that most pros would catch. Finally, he printed our programs on a heavy glossy paper that was not necessary for a program for a memorial luncheon, which made them difficult to fold. I guess I will say, that if you are going to work with Jay, make sure you discuss every single aspect of what you want, paper type and weight, trimming, etc. for every aspect of your print job. In the end, we were able to use what was printed, the program and the bookmarks just weren't exactly what we wanted. Additionally, he asked us to reformat our files and then email them to him but didn't reach out until the next day to let us know that he did not receive the file. I will say once he had the files the work was done the next day.

He was incredibly responsive and helpful during a really stressful situation, and even helped get my prints done before the shop officially opened because I needed them before 8 AM. No other printing company I contacted was available that early on a Saturday, and Jay went out of his way to help me out. The prints came out great and the customer service was honestly amazing. If you're an architecture student or anyone needing quality printing with great customer service, I highly recommend this place.

They now offered the owner Peter Kwong $100 a year instead of their regular contract. This is likely the only CPU that accepted such a ridiculous offer but Peter wanted to keep it open for the community, especially the elders that need this service. Peter has been operating at a loss for the last 26 year but now he will really be bleeding red. The workers need their job and the community needs this USPS. I know there has been comments about their service but please give grace to the older worker and please support its cause. We are fighting for the community so hope you all can do the same but making this USPS your go to USPS.

JD and the rest of Print Renegades are easily some of the best people I've worked with. My fraternity's previously worked with a variety of other companies when it came to the production of our shirts, but they've usually been difficult to reach or unreasonable with prices. This has never been the case with Print Renegades at all! They truly care about the people they do business with, and it shows in how they approach their customers. They're incredibly friendly and flexible with their services, and I can truly say that they pull out all the stops for their customers. Earlier this week, I needed an extra order of shirts that I need by next Monday, and within a few e-mails, all within the span of a couple hours, the order was sent in and I'll be getting my shirts in time! They're easy to reach, fun to talk to, and they always give you options when finalizing whatever you need done. I emailed them some additional info late the night before they were going to do the print run and not only did they make the changes they made sure, after hours, that I got them exactly what they needed so the job wasn't put on hold. Even though they are not in the same state as me I'll be using them for all my printing needs. I've had such a great experience working with Print Renegades (specifically, JD). They're extremely responsive via email which helps a lot when it's your first foray into the screen printing world and you have a lot of questions (like myself). I went into the shop today for the first time assuming I'd have to wait a week until the prints were done. NOPE - JD was able to do the prints for me in 15 minutes. So happy about this. My only heads up - The location is not the safest, BUT there are parking spots specifically for Print Renegades customers in the parking lot next to the shop. Park there. (at this point I had gone through 2 horrible experiences with other companies) They were FAST, precise, upfront, and professional. Their Printing was TOP KNOTCH. After looking around a bit, I chatted with J.D. at Print Renegades. He looked at our design, made a few much needed tweaks to enhance it for printing, and delivered us a couple hundred bags very quickly. Walking into Print Renegades right away I was mesmerized by the art! The vibe was very friendly and I could see they were very focused on their work. I needed a quick turnaround for a run of dark garment DTG t-shirts. Edgar and JD were knowledgeable and kind, and we got the ball rolling ASAP so that they would be ready in a little over a week (they actually finished early). I used a different printing company before and got inconsistent results (anyone familiar with dark garment DTG tees knows how much of a bummer this can be). After spending almost an hour setting up an order on their website (with an AI assistant constantly trying to push stuff on you), there was no confirmation email. I called the next day to see if the order got through. A sleepy gentlemen answered the phone and mumbled apathetically that he'd check and get back to me. He never did. I left a message the next day, asking for a call back to find out if my order had come through. I got a text on my phone the next day, reading: "Thank you for reaching out to The Best Screen Printing company. Please send us your design, when you need it by, size breakdown and quantity for your order at sales@tbsp.la to get a free quick quote.". So we were back to square one, with 3 days just out the window. I emailed them and explained that I had submitted an order through their website days earlier. They emailed back and said they wouldn't honor that order. They told me if I wanted to pick up any t-shirt by Monday, they'd use a lower-quality (!) t-shirt and charge an additional $20 above the additional rush order fees they had already added. I never write reviews, but here I felt compelled to.

So here it goes again, even better this time. I have been dealing with this company for over 4 years. They were pompous and arrogant the entire time I worked with them. They have no regard for their customers and they're only looking to make money. They have blatantly printed my stuff wrong multiple times, but I have worked with them and been patient with their printer for the sake of my business. I had an order of hoodies printed for some big celebrity clients, and they were the same hoodies I've been printing with them since 2020. I had other hoodies in the order, but this one in particular was the one that got damaged. In this industry men don't respect women at all, and they expect us to just do whatever they say and take whatever they give. The damage hoodies, I'm referring to were printed as a set of five. The print was blatantly wrong and crooked, completely not centered, and he was so rude about it. The ONLY printer in their company that knows how to print is so careless with everyone's order that you literally have to just hope and pray your order is done right. The owners of this company do not care about anything but money and they especially don't care about the employees. That's not an excuse to treat people poorly and take peoples hard earned money. The customer service is horrible, the attention of detail is horrible, these people are just money hungry, arrogant business owners. The people that run this company have no idea how to print anything and all they look for is mass orders of basic printing, so that they can get their money out of people and go onto the next client. They have no structure in their business and they are extremely rude to women. If you are a woman and you go in there, they expect you to be brainless, even when they're wrong about how to run their own machines. This experience with them over the past couple years has been a nightmare ever since they fired the actual people who actually cared about their customers and took the time to make sure the work was done correctly. In the middle of the pandemic, they fired so many hard workers and it was really sad. I am permanently disabled, and the discrimination that I have dealt with in this office has been nothing less than stressful while trying to recover from surgery and run my business. They don't even have an office anymore that clients can come in. I spoke to the sales person and he said that he was at home and that he couldn't tell me who the boss was-- which is a lie. When you go to drop off your orders the shop is dirty, there's paint everywhere, there's no organization. The work environment has not been good for a long time, but due to business needs, I made sacrifices and did whatever I could. I've referred this company to so many people and I regret doing so because they are horrible people.

One Star and Eight Ruined Foam Boards…read more I'm someone who has worked with print shops for many years, so I couldn't just ignore this experience with Guru Print. I'm not the type to leave reviews or rate other people's work -- but, as they say, there's a first time for everything. And this is exactly that case. Because what I encountered here was not work, and not professionalism, but a careless, dismissive attitude toward a client's work -- combined with an apparent inability (or unwillingness) to spend even two minutes making sure the final result looks even remotely acceptable. -1 star: The website and file upload circus The print shop initially caught my attention thanks to its strong good rating and a fairly decent-looking website. After carefully reviewing the file submission requirements, I was genuinely pleased to see that everything could be done remotely -- quick, convenient, and hassle-free. Or so it seemed. I followed all stated requirements precisely: CMYK profile, PDF format, files up to 200 MB. That's when the fun began. The website simply refused to accept the files -- freezing, throwing errors, and effectively telling me to figure it out myself. After some time, it became clear that the advertised 200 MB limit does not actually exist. In reality, the system only accepts files significantly smaller than that -- something conveniently not mentioned anywhere. After nearly an hour of wrestling with PDFs, compressing files from 180 MB down to 50-80 MB each, I found myself literally hoping and praying that each upload would make it into the paid online cart. -1 star: Communication (or lack thereof) Client communication deserves a separate mention. I'm not a fluent English speaker, and phone calls already come with a certain level of stress -- because the outcome depends not only on my language skills, but also on a basic level of patience and courtesy from the person on the other end. After submitting the files and waiting a reasonable amount of time (about two to three hours), I called with a very simple question: when will my boards be ready, and when can I pick them up? Since I paid extra for same-day printing, I only needed to know when I should get in the car and drive over. The response? Rude, unhelpful, and completely uninformed. The person on the phone didn't know my order number and, frankly, seemed to know nothing at all. The only thing I got out of that call was: "You'll get an email when it's ready," along with a noticeable dose of irritation. As a result, I ended up sitting in my car near the printing office, waiting -- because if that email had arrived an hour and a half before closing, I simply wouldn't have made it in time. -1 star: Finding the place The establishment has no sign, no plaque, no indication whatsoever that a print shop exists in the building. I understand this is a production facility, not a showroom -- but a small sign by the door, or even a basic written instruction on how to find the place, would've gone a long way. Consider it a courtesy to your clients. Nothing more. Instead, I had to wait outside until someone exited the building just to get in. Then I walked into a tattoo shop (which, by the way, had no trouble putting up a clear sign). The tattoo shop staff kindly pointed me to an unmarked, anonymous door -- behind which, apparently, Guru Print was hiding all along. -1 star: The final result Finally, I picked up my boards and felt a moment of relief. I honestly thought the final result would be so good that it would make everything else fade into the past.That illusion lasted about five seconds. I opened the first board and immediately noticed that the gray color had a strong green tint. I was in a rush, and there was no time to stand by my car unwrapping all eight boards -- let alone start a reprint. The boards were supposed to be displayed the very next morning at an event in another city. That's exactly why I chose extra for same-day printing. The entire drive home I kept wondering what I had done wrong -- the layout, the color, the color profile. Surely it must have been my mistake It wasn't Once home, I unpacked the remaining boards and realized the situation was even worse. Some of the supposedly black-and-white boards had turned purple, others blue, and the rest green. Same settings. Same color profiles. Completely different results. To make matters worse, some boards were cut so poorly it looked like they'd been chewed up by dull scissors in the dark. That's how this story ended I genuinely don't understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I hope mine stands out from the sea of praise and gives potential customers at least a moment of pause. If you care about your work -- and if the final result matters to you -- I would strongly recommend staying away from this place.

I got there and they were made in the wrong size. mind you, I spoke through the phone about the size and quantity and even emailed the size and quantity of the postcards and on the invoice it clearly said the size and quantity that I ordered. So I get there and they were made wrong! Drove 1hr to get there and they were made wrong. They said they can fix the order and it will be ready in 2hrs. That brings me back to the scam where they offered faster services for 100$ more when really they can make them in a couple of hours. So I come back after a couple of hours to get the ones that were remade and they tried selling me the ones they made in the wrong size. And I said no. I believe they made those wrong purposely to try making more sales. And they disregarded my time as a customer and tried scamming with fees for faster services. I did my research and they sold 7x5 post cards for 29cents each which is pretty pricey considering I got 500 of them. For 500 post cards you can get them for 16cents-19cents a card. I highly recommend to avoid this place or at least do your research before going there and say no their scam which is 100$ more for next day pick up.
