I hung up feeling nervous but happy that I would finally be getting the help that I need. And then I get a call today from a completely different person (made me feel as though she was talking down to me, complete 180 from the lady I spoke with yesterday) claiming that you guys don't deal with Medicare at all, she asked if I had other insurance and since I don't, that was the end of the conversation, and she wouldn't even go over any other cash payment options.. Maybe people like me who are mentally ill wouldn't be so sick if there were more companies out there that were willing to help us out. How dare you assume that I can't pay cash so you just won't work with me. I guess it's better that I don't deal with a company like that anyways. Thank you for making a bad day that much worse. And thanks again for absolutely NOTHING. I will be leaving feedback on every networking sight that I can to get the word out that your company only cares about children with problems and the adults like myself, who genuinely need help too, can just rot apparently (their website also states they work with adults too, not just children, AND in my original form I sent in, I explained that I'm a 37 year old woman)... Also, it states right on your website that you take both Medicaid and MEDICARE. Which I have Medicare, and it also states you offer in home services... So maybe rather than lying to people on your site, take that information down instead of giving people false hope that they might actually get the help they need!

They are NOT going to get the kind of quality care they deserve This company makes promises they can't keep and keep advertising for clients when they don't have enough staff to serve the clientele they already have! Do not even attempt treatment here if you care about the quality of care you or a loved one gets. Often patients don't even get the therapist promised for up to 2 months. Patients exiting hospitals will flounder if not given support from an assigned therapist to help them make the transition to a new environment. This causes unnecessary angst and distress to those already in a somewhat fragile state. Shame on you Altium! PS. this does not mean there are not some nice and caring staff there, but the benefit is not worth the risk Just my opinion.

I was seen by therapists and an in-house doctor and guided by selfless volunteer helpers as well as my peers. I stayed mostly sober for a couple years after Journey then had a major life change and went back out for a couple more years, then I found myself back on the path of sobriety. If it wasn't for Journey there's no way I would have decided to keep heading towards a sober and peaceful life. Today I can proudly say I am 11 months sober and looking forward to my first full year sober. (I've basically sober for a few years - with a few slips here and there). But this is my longest consecutive stint. Journey catapulted me down this path of sobriety, it was upon entering Journey that I first made the decision that I was going to do this thing for real. I may not have gotten it right away but all the tools I learned during my stay are what I used to get me to where I am today and I remember the staff like family. The rooms are so beautiful, the beds are elegant and so comfy with high quality amenities and the food is excellent. The grounds were magical. I loved everything about my stay. I met my best friend for life at Journey. After our time there we kept in contact, we started dating then took a couple years apart to work on our own paths... and one day he got me back, we dated for a bit longer then he brought me to the back of journey - where we first met in the summer of 2013, it was now all covered in snow, I didn't recognize it at all, it was the day after thanksgiving 2020... He surprised me in the middle of winter, it was closed down at this time, once I took off the blindfold and recognized where he had brought me he proposed, in the exactl places we were when our eyes first met and now we are happily walking the path of sobriety as a married couple!!! I'm a pretty paranoid patient when it comes to someone touching my knee after surgery so I was so lucky and privileged to have found Sarah, who is such a pleasure to work with. She really listens to your needs, concerns, and areas of the body where better circulation needs to improve. On first visits, she gave me a lymphatic massage which really opened up my body's circulatory system to just have better blood flow, specifically the injured area, the knee. According to their website, "This modality is designed to assist the draining of toxins through the lymphatic system, a complex network of vessels, tissues and organs. Proper lymphatic draining can result in better moods, clearer skin, improved circulation, and increased energy." I've had this massage performed by Sarah a handful of times now and it really helped my body overall to just move better and feel better from within. As she suggested, it's also good to get this message when seasons change. Dr. Bob Lindberg is also a good chiropractor who also performed gua sha on my leg/around the knee area too.

I love that this place has a brush and hair products for when you get out and you can get ready to go in the room where you float. What I didn't love about this place compared to my one other experience is the float tank, if you want it dark is not completely dark because of the holes that let air out in the top and the prep room has light. I also couldn't figure out any music no matter what buttons I pressed. Also, the "air" that touched my body while floating was cool so I felt a little cold the entire hour. Even though I took the recommendation not to take a hot shower because the water was closer to 93 so it could feel like your body temp. I was just kind of cold the entire time. The staff was nice but I felt a little rushed by the older lady telling me I had 5 minutes to shower and get in the float pool before my hour session started. Found this place on ClassPass. When I checked our the staff didn't know what that was and asked me to wait while they called someone. I should have prepared for that because it unfortunately made me late to my next appointment and cut my time with them short. I would recommend calling ahead and line that up if that's an issue for you or leave extra time. Another difference is the place I went to before had more of a relaxation period before to get your mind ready. I couldn't and didn't completely relax while I was in there and no one asked me how my experience was after my float. They do have massage at this place so maybe if you go try a massage first then float? But when I'm back here I don't plan on repeating this exact experience.
