Well, I got my car from here and it was a fun experience. Financial advisor yelled at me although I was pregnant (I'm just kidding). Everyone was welcoming. Axel was a great salesman and didn't pressure me into buying. Chuck ( finance guy ) was pretty funny. I needed to replace my windshield they had the glass company come to my house. Unfortunately I went into labor the day of the appointment however was able to reschedule. This was all no cost to me. Axel also went out of his way to get me a second key for the vehicle. The only thing I can say was that I didn't know I had to pay for the key to get programmed and the location of the key was super far from the closest dealership. Terrible don't buy from here .i brought a 2021 Honda crv with 39 k miles . Car wasn't driving smoothly when i brought noticed it had three different tires on it . Called to complain to have them replace tires two weeks later the seemed to buck forward found out the differential fluid was never changed and was low . They also put cheap brakes on the shook the car when breaking . A year later I had to put a head gasket on it . I don't beat on my car and only use to work and back . **I want to start by saying that I picked this place due to its reviews, so I want to make sure to leave one as it might save someone else from being played by the group.** This is your typical group of car sales scammers, make sure to read all of their reviews, not just the good ones, there's a reason people leave detailed reviews when they have horrible experiences. I should've known it was sketchy once Todd took my phone and set it up for me to leave a review prior to even signing any papers. My car has 3 different tires all with different treads, all the fluids are very low (yes Terrance, even tho some fluids expand while driving), the back seat floor carpet is loose off the floor, the passenger seat doesn't properly move back and forth, and I'm sure there's a slew of more issues that I need to have looked at. Yes, it is my fault that I am not a mechanic and don't know what to look for and I still bought the car as is. I am aware I should've done better research for buying a used car, but I was just excited to finally have my dream car. It's just very concerning that within 10 min of leaving the dealership my tire presser sensor goes off so I drive back to them and supposedly I ran over a nail (after driving the same route for the test drive AND the car was in their shop for about 3-4 hours fixing an issue I caught prior to buying, very suspicious). Todd could not be more annoyed and angry that I came back for them to fix it, he didn't even get up out of his chair to approach me. He claimed that he kept all the mechanics from going home just to patch up my tire, when there were at least 3-4 guys working on another car. Todd knew this was an easy sale since we spoke for about a week before I drove the 2hrs for the car, put down a deposit, I never hassled them on the price one bit, I came in with a 15k check (as well as bought extra bumper to bumper coverage) and was not taken seriously. Todd kept giving me snarky remarks when I was trying to find insurance, he did NOTHING to help with insurance when he couldn't quickly do it online. He lied and told me everything was good and all fluids topped off as they should be. When speaking to the manager Terrance over the phone a week after the purchase, he was even less of any help as he says it's none of their problem, as far as they know it was all good. Not that I expected much from him but there's something that doesn't sit right especially since finding out that he was RIGHT THERE when I had to go back for the tire issue and he didn't say a word, claiming he was busy. The car was waiting for me when I got there, Axel was helping me and explained that it hadn't gone through their safety testing so the brakes might not be the best or it might need new tires (which is a huge plus considering some dealerships don't acknowledge things like that). OK to deal with until you transfer $ and or drive off the lot. Do your due diligence when checking out the car. Assume there is no warranty and expect to rely on the Better Business Bureau to get any resolution to your problems. Oh, and check the air filter. I pulled mine out and found the mileage written on the filter from the last service was 35k miles higher than the actual reported on the odometer. Doesn't give you a lot of confidence in the car. Also, helped explain why a car with 48k reported miles on it needed to have a water pump and a starter repaired within the first 30 days of my owning the vehicle. I was looking for a certain car and these guys had it available in a color and mileage that was very interesting to me. Showed up to take a look and test drive the car. The sales team seemed pretty cool. About 10 minutes into checking out the car, another young lady and her father walked over and said they wanted to test drive the car. I was there first, but it looked like this place didn't care, they would have taken the car for this other girl to check out. I ended up putting a deposit on it just to hold the sales team and the other chick at bay (red flag #1). They should have just had the sense of integrity to tell her that I was there first and she'd have to wait. Once they had my deposit, one of the co-owners came over and was said "You know that the other girl wants it bad". Listen, I don't need to be pressured. I called him on his high-pressure tactics and told him I was going to take the time to look the car over and if he wanted to play that game, I'd immediately take back my deposit and my pre-approved behind elsewhere. He didn't really take too kindly to be called out on his tactics. (red flag #2). The car was missing the electronic key fob that it was advertised online with. Not only do you need this key fob to activate the security system (something insurance companies want), you couldn't get into the trunk or the passenger door without it. The other co-owner said he refused to promise the key fob and scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the web page of this car and there was a disclaimer that the features of the car were not always available. The key fob is a $150 item. They wouldn't do this to secure a sale? And it was SO necessary to just use the car! Like get into the trunk and passenger door. (red flag #3) So I took the car for a test drive, really liked it, then took it out alone and drove it over to my brother's place for him to take a look at. He gave it the once-over and said to take it back. Upon bringing the car back, there was another newer car, almost the same, in my price range, and I was paired up with a salesperson Pete. I took it for a test drive and liked it. Pete was really a sweetheart. We sat down to look at the financials, and a deposit on the car because it still needed to go through their mechanical department and get cleaned, then the co-owner who didn't want to replace the key fob on the first car wanted to double to triple the required deposit on the car. (red flag #4). At that point, I concluded that I didn't want to do business nor entwine myself financially with a dealership whose owners were sharks. You get two stars purely for the salesperson Pete. Such a nice guy. Don't know how he can make a living when the co-owners seem to go out of their way to antagonize and pressure the customers. Looked ok. Inside was dirty. Took it for a test drive. Noticed it didn't have the power I was expecting. Brought it back and asked the guy if there was something wrong with the engine as it doesn't feel like a v6. Long story short. He had sold the car I was looking at and tried to pass a 4cyl honda accord off as the gt version. Thought he could do it because the car was the same year and color. Went to look at a truck here, this place is funny. I started to notice a common trend with all their trucks the undercarriage was black looking as though there was a professional coating done on them. I asked the nice gentleman who was selling the car he said the truck had a professional coating on the undercarriage, false!!!! Upon laying under this truck and many other trucks on the lot I learned by the overwhelming smell of spray paint that they had spray-painted their truck frames to make them look like they are better shape. I read all the negative reviews and still I really wanted to see the car they had that was hard to find. I arrived and was greeted by Charlie, he was congenial and was very eager to have the car we were interested in brought out for a test drive. When I saw it I immediately noticed that the tires that were on the car were too small, definitely the wrong size. I questioned Charlie about it and he said those were the right ones. He said they were new but some were more worn than others. I looked up the correct size on my phone and showed him. He said he would check into it. They were asking $2000 over the Kelly Bluebook Value and when we asked if it was negotiable we were told emphatically no. They said they were asking that price because of Supply and Demand, in other words it's the ok to upcharge for any car that has a few inquiries about it. I asked about any other charges above the upcharge and they also had a $500 Dollar Dealer Fee which was absolutely not negotiable. Also add in the tax, registration and plates and the price was well over what an 9 year old car with 100k miles was worth. So feeling no love from this dealer I decided it was not worth it! They have many attractive cars, but beware of their business practices which are quite unattractive. read more

Went to check out a truck today. Vehicle had some interior damage that I didn't see on the Pictures online. Glovebox had cuts and gouges, and the center console had some slices in it, and the AC didn't work(said it needed to be charged). Nothing crazy, but would be an eyesore to look at the damage while driving everyday. Everyone was extremely friendly including the owners. I would've purchased the vehicle today, but they wouldn't take anything off the listed price. I wish the pictures online showed the damage ( I'll go back and confirm the damage isn't depicted, and if it is I'll update my review) since I drove out of my way and left work early to check it out. Typical car sales dealership. Very nice when you walk in the door . After you give them your hard earned cash. They don't remember your name. I put a down payment on a car Model XR which was advertised. Then I realized the car was actually a base model. So I put a stop payment on my $3k check until I figured out what was going on here. This made them very angry. Normally they do not accept checks for down payment. But made an exception for me. But I had no intention of giving them my debit card number, I'm glad I didn't. We finally negotiated on the base model car . I drove the car off the lot. About a mile from my house I heard a rattling coming from the rear wheels of the car. So I drove straight to my mechanic. The mechanic told me that bolts were missing from the rear wheel assembly. I'm lucky it didn't come apart on the highway. Probably wouldn't be here to write this review. I called Highline Car Connection and told them what happened.They told me to bring the car in the next day . But I couldn't because of work. I had my mechanic fix the problem. Bought a high mileage late 2014 F-150 from them. Truck needed a few repairs before I agreed to purchase it, and they did repair them. However, there were a few things that should have been common sense to them to do. The break lights worked fine but both tail lights were out. As I didn't see the truck at night, I did not notice this until I was pulled over a week after pulling the truck off the lot. It's a cheap and easy fixed, did it myself, but why didn't they just replace the lights themselves. It costs like $15.00 for all lights and labor. The bigger issue. I'm assuming they never flushed the break system and let the truck just sit there. The break fluid was, apparently, contaminated while it sat at the dealership. This contamination has been estimated to cost, at the moment, $3,548.32 from Ford. As of right now, the breaks don't work well enough to drive the truck safely. If I would have known this at the time, I would not have bought the truck. As it is a high mileage vehicle, the warranty does not cover this. Staff was nice at least. read more

To all my fellow car buyers and veterans. Please do not buy from this dealership. I recently purchased a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder from this car lot and within 1500 miles the transmission is starting to fail. Before I found out it was a confirmed transmission problem I brought the vehicle to Highline and was informed that because I "thought" it was a possible transmission problem they could not even look at the vehicle?? Hmmm if I knew how to diagnosis a vehicle I would have been a mechanic. Their mechanic supervisor seemed to have absolutely no clue on customer service and was very timid. If you can't do the job or scared to talk to your customer then give your position to someone who is not! After basically being told my vehicle was a "LEMON" in so many words, I spoke with the owner who then told me they would not even look at the vehicle and I must take it to Nissan. So I took the vehicle to County Line Nissan to have it diagnosed and was informed that if the proper inspection was done on the vehicle then it would have been obvious that coolant leaked into the transmission fluid. Furthermore, I was informed by County Line Nissan that Highline contacted them previously about a warranty and was aware something was wrong with this vehicle. I believe the only reason I was sold this vehicle is because they knew I was relocating back home to Tennessee and probably will never see me again. Now I am a stuck with a car note, $5700 to fix the transmission, and unable to travel back home due to no transportation. Dealing with Highline I basically lost 14k of hard earned money! The owner, I believe his name was Mike, said he could not help me. Way to prey on honest hardworking customers and a veteran who has loyally served this country and state. You sell me a lemon and put my family in a huge financial predictament, and could care less. I am just a sales number! Customer service is great until the purchase is complete. I bought a car from Peter Sell at Highline Car Connection about two years ago. Found out today that the car had been rear-ended before I bought it. I was told at the time of sale that the car had never been in an accident. I was already annoyed and insulted with my experience at HCC, but this was the final straw. I felt pressured into buying the car for thousands more than it was worth. They showed other customers the car I was interested while I was there, even though there were comparable alternatives. The entire process felt rushed and uncomfortable. Once I had paid for the car, they told me that I could not drive it home because they didn't realize I would be registering it in Massachusetts. They told me this after photocopying my Mass. license and after I gave them a Mass. address. Very unprofessional oversight. It was winter, so I had them put the winter tires that I had leftover from my last car on the new car. Come spring-time I realize they gave me four mismatched tires, rather than the four that were originally on the car when I test drove it. Turns out that two of the tires they gave me were egg-shaped and caused a violent vibration that haunted me for over a year until I swapped out the tires. I of course didn't realize this until it was far too late because I had them put the winter tires I provided on the car. Overall, a very shady operation. Peter Sell was the least shark-like out of the group, so I can't imagine what it would have been like to deal with the other bottom-feeders. We called and asked for second key. Sorry we can't help you. Explained one key is for a different car and we were told we would get 2 keys. REPLY " We gave you two keys" " But, one doesn't work" Reply " We only said we would give you 2 keys, that is company policy.
