Mrs. O'Neal's Kindergarten preparation with the kids is unparalleled, as she strives to have your child meet Kindergarten requirements before leaving her classroom. Up until the very end, our…read morefamily had a genuinely great experience with the school, primarily due to the wonderful classroom teaching staff who cared for our kids. Unfortunately, our transition out of the program was marred by a breakdown in communication from the institution. One week before summer school was scheduled to begin, we were abruptly informed that the school was recommending our kids not attend the summer program, and that their fall enrollment was being questioned due to classroom-readiness criteria. As parents, the situation was disappointing. We received enrollment, billing, and promotional materials for summer school and the next preschool level all year long. To be notified of major concerns just days before the summer session started left our family in an incredibly difficult position, with leadership acknowledging after the fact that a spring evaluation should have been provided to keep us in the loop. Ultimately, the school's breakdown in communication broke our trust in how the program is managed, and our children will not be returning to GLC. If you are a parent looking at this program, the individual teachers are fantastic and provide a warm environment. However, be aware that you may need to be incredibly proactive in demanding written evaluations and regular check-ins with administration to ensure you and the leadership are on the same page.

alicia t, what makes…read moreyou say shes a pedo? she is a nice woman who cared for everyones safety and was a great teacher. she has moved on from her career as a teacher 2 years ago, meaning she no longer teaches at st philomena. so unless you are a parent of a student who graduated years prior (i assume you arent.) then tell us proof that she is a pedo. if you are a parent of a new student, you had the audacity to falsely accuse a teacher who retired 2 years ago. she cared, loved, and occasionally visits students of st philomena. she loved students no matter looks, religion, gender, or intelligence. so if you do have any proof, please say your childs name and proof. if she was a pedo, then why has nobody come out against her with actual proof? she wouldve been fired long ago if she was accused properly.
